Getting to Albany Medical Center’s Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery

The Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Albany Medical Center is located in the Surgeons Pavilion at 50 New Scotland Ave. For your convenience, patient parking is located on the ground floor of the adjoining parking garage located at 40 New Scotland Ave off Veteran’s Way. (Parking will be validated). To help you access our office, the following directions are recommended.

From the north Take Interstate 87 South to exit 7 for Rt 7 East. Take the exit for 787 South. From 787 South, take exit 3B (Madison Ave). Continue on Madison Ave for approximately 1 mile. Turn left on New Scotland Ave. Continue on New Scotland Ave until you reach Veteran’s Way on your left, where you will enter the parking garage.

From the south Take the New York State Thruway 87 North to exit 23 for Rt 9W. After the tolls, take the exit ramp immediately on the right. At the light make a left onto 9W North. Follow 9W North to Delaware Ave. Turn right onto Delaware Ave. Follow Delaware Ave for approximately 1.5 miles. Turn left onto Holland Ave and proceed two blocks to New Scotland Ave. At the light turn right. Continue on New Scotland Ave until you reach Veteran’s Way on your right, where you will enter the parking garage.

From the east Take Interstate 90 West to 787 South to exit 3B (Madison Ave). Continue on Madison Ave for approximately 1 mile. Turn left on New Scotland Ave. Continue on New Scotland Ave until you reach Veteran’s Way on your left, where you will enter the parking garage.

From the west Take Interstate 90 East to exit 4 (after the last toll plaza the exit numbers start at 1 and then go up). Continue on 85 West to the Krumkill Rd exit. At the first light off the exit make a left going over the highway. Turn right onto Krumkill Rd. Follow Krumkill Rd to New Scotland Ave. Turn left onto New Scotland Ave and continue for approximately 3 miles until you reach Veteran’s Way on your right, where you will enter the parking garage.

Getting to our office from the parking garage Follow signs inside the parking garage to 50 New Scotland. Take elevators to the 3rd floor.
