Memorial Brick Dedication Ceremony: NYS Crime Victims Memorial, Empire State Plaza, Albany From the North: Take Interstate 87 (Northway) to (East) exit. Proceed to and take Empire Plaza exit. From the South: Take (Interstate 87) to Exit 23—straight through tollbooth to Interstate 787; then take Empire Plaza exit. From the East: Take Interstate 90 and cross . Take exit to Interstate 787 South, along river. Take Empire Plaza exit. From the West: Take the New York State Thruway (Interstate 90) to Exit 24 (Albany), proceed east on Interstate 90 to Interstate 787 South, along river. Take Empire Plaza exit. Walk a Mile in her Shoes: Lally Pavillion, 2215 Burdett Ave, Troy, 12180 From the South:Leave NYS Thruway at Exit 23 (Albany). Follow I-787 North about 7 miles and bear right onto Rt. 7 East. Follow Rt. 7 East and follow signs to Troy and Bennington, VT. See paragraph A. From the East: Leave the Berkshire Spur of the NYS Thruway at Exit B-1, also I-90 (to Albany). Follow I-90 approximately 8 miles to bridge over Hudson River at Albany, then bear North on I-787 toward Troy. Proceed approximately 4-5 miles, then bear right onto Rt. 7 East and follow signs to Troy and Bennington, VT. See Paragraph A. From the North: Leave the Northway, I-87, at Exit 7, Rt. 7 East. Follow signs for Troy. After 4-5 miles, you will cross the Collar City Bridge. See Paragraph A. From the West: Leave the NYS Thruway at Exit 24 (Albany). Take the northbound entrance ramp onto the Northway, I-87. Proceed to Exit 7, Rt. 7 East, and bear right following the signs for Troy. After 4-5 miles, you will cross the Collar City Bridge. See Paragraph A. Paragraph A: Cross the Hudson River on the Collar City Bridge and stay on Rt. 7 East, which is also Hoosick St. Proceed up Hoosick St. hill; a traffic light marks the Troy Plaza shopping Center on your right. Go two more lights; past Rite Aid (on right), turn right onto Burdett Ave. At the second traffic light, turn right onto People’s Ave. Turn into the Samaritan Outpatient Parking Lot, proceeding under the Lally Pavilion and park in Samaritan Hospital’s Visitor Parking Lot (free). Candlelight Vigil: Presbyterian New England Congregational Church, 24 Circular Street, Saratoga From the south: I-87 (Northway) North to exit 14. Bear right off exit onto Union Ave. Go appx 1 mi. to T intersection. Turn left onto Circular Street. Go one block. Rt. 41, Hudson Falls, 12839 Directions coming from the south going north on I-87 N: Take Exit 17 N off the Northway. You will be on Rt. 9. Stay on Rt. 9 until you reach Rt. 197 E. Turn right onto Rt. 197 E. Stay on this road for approx. 5mi. until the intersection of Rt. 4 N and Rt. 197 E. (Stewart’s on your left). Turn left at this intersection taking Rt. 4 N. Continue on this road for approx. 2 mi. until you pass General Electric and the Washington County Municipal Center on your left. The 1st light after the county building is the intersection of Rt. 4 and Schuyler Street, make a right. Follow Schuyler Street until the stop sign. You will be at the intersection of Schuyler Street and Burgoyne Ave. Take a left onto Burgoyne Ave. Continue on Burgoyne Ave. until the 2nd traffic light. You will be at the intersection of Burgoyne Ave and County Route 41. Turn right onto County Route 41. A B&B On The Green is a ¼ mile on the left hand side. Directions coming from the north on I-87 S: Take Exit 19 off the Northway. Make a right off the exit onto State Route 254 (Aviation Road) continue straight, this changes into Quaker Road. After approximately 5 mi. at the intersection of Dix Avenue and Quaker Road, (Hess station on your right) Turn left onto Dix Avenue. Continue straight at the 4th light, turn left onto County Route 41. A B&B On The Green is a ¼ mile on the left hand side. For further information call Rebecca Evansky at 747-8849 DWI Memorial Ceremony: Rensselaer County DWI Memorial, Troy, (Congress & 13th Streets) From 787 take the Route 7 (Troy/Bennington) exit at the light at the end of Route 7 (before you go up Hoosick Street) Turn right proceed until you reach Congress Street (at the end of the street you are now on) Turn left up the hill. The Memorial is located just past the entrance to Prospect Park on your left. Rose Garden Ceremony of Remembrance: Central Park Rose Garden, Schenectady From the East: Route 7 (becomes Union Street after crossing Rte 146—Balltown Rd.) to Central Parkway. Left on Central Parkway, cross Eastern Parkway, stay on Central Parkway which curves around to main entrance of Central Park at Wright Avenue. Go through Main Entrance and Rose Garden is on immediate right. Can also be accessed from Route 5 (Central Ave., Albany; State St., Schenectady). Right on Fehr Avenue to Central Parkway (Park will be to your left). Left on Central Parkway to main entrance at Wright Avenue. From the North: Rte 50 south to Freeman's Bridge Rd. (near airport). Continue on Freeman's to Erie Blvd. Erie to Union Street. Left on Union to Central Parkway to entrance at Wright Ave. From the Northway: Exit 6 to Rte. 7. Follow above "from east." Take Back the Night: RPI Campus, Troy March will begin in the back of the Green Building and Lally Management Center, and end at the Student Union. Directions coming from the north on I-87 S: Exit 7 East, to Rt. 7 East follow directions to campus. Coming from south going north on I-87 N: Exit 23 to I-787 North to 7 East, to Rt. 7 East follow directions to campus. From East: I-90 to Exit B1 to I-787 North to Rt. 7 East, follow directions to campus. From West: I-90 to Exit 24, cont I-90 to I-787 North, to Rt. 7 East, follow directions to campus. Directions to Campus: Take Exit for Downtown Troy, becomes 6th Ave. at 2nd Traffic light left onto Federal St. Up hill at 2nd traffic light right onto 15th St. Cont. through 15th St and Sage Ave intersection to the Public Safety Lot on the left. Ceremony of Remembrance: Academy Park, Albany Academy Park is on the corner of Eagle and Elk Streets- One block from City Hall on Eagle Street and Across from the Old County Courthouse. Take Back the Night: The College of St. Rose, Albany March will begin at 432 Western Avenue, Campus Green. At the end of the off-ramp, turn LEFT on Route 155. Continue for approximately 1/4 mile to the next traffic light, and turn LEFT on Albany-Shaker Road. At the next light, turn RIGHT on Wolf Road. We are about 3/10 of a mile down Wolf Road on the left side. From The South: Take the New York State Thruway (Interstate 87) NORTH to Exit 24. Continue on I-87 NORTH (Exit 1N out of the toll booths) to Exit 4 (Wolf Road). Turn RIGHT off of the exit. We are about 2/10 of a mile down Wolf Road on the left. From The East: Take Interstate 90 to New York, and continue on I-90 by taking Exit B-1 from the Berkshire Spur of the NYS Thruway. Follow I-90 to Exit 1N (Interstate 87). Continue on I-87 to Exit 4 (Wolf Road). Turn RIGHT off of the exit and follow Wolf Road approximately 2/10 of a mile. We are on the left side. From The West: Take the New York State Thruway (Interstate 90) to Exit 24. Continue on I-87 NORTH (Exit 1N out of the toll booths) to Exit 4 (Wolf Road). Turn RIGHT off of the exit. We are about 2/10 of a mile down Wolf Road on the left.
