Acute Swabs collected and sent to Microbiology Dept. SVMC, Tirupati. 04 Under Chittoor Diarrheal water samples collected and sent to Regional Public Health Lab, 23 0 10-05-15 17-05-15 Surveillance Disease Tirupati. Two water samples were found non potable for drinking Andhra purposes. All 3 rectal samples tested negative. All the cases treated 2. Pradesh symptomatically in a medical camp. Alternate water supply arranged during the outbreak. Health education given.

House to house survey done. Medical camp organized in the area and all cases treated symptomatically. Health education given.

District RRT Yavatmal 17 0 09-05-15 14-05-15 Poisoning Control investigated the outbreak. All cases consumed stale rice and meat during a function. All cases treated symptomatically. Health education given.

xxvi. Acute Cases reported from Village Kabri, PHC Pipalzopa, Block Under Bhagwanpura, District Khargon. District RRT investigated the Khargon Diarrheal 15 0 13-05-15 15-05-15 Surveillance outbreak. Pradesh Cases reported from Village Tabalpani, SC Tabalpani, Block Ghughri, and District Mandla. District RRT investigated the outbreak. Rapid Under fever survey done in the area. House to house survey done. A total of Mandla xxvii. Malaria 16 0 11-05-15 13-05-15 Surveillance 86 blood smears were examined out of which 16 smears found positive for Malaria (9 PF, 3PV, 4 Mix). Anti larval activities done. Focal spray done. All cases treated symptomatically. Health education given.

Cases of fever reported from Village Sorsen, CHC Mirjapur, Block Anta, District Baran. District RRT investigated the case. Under Entomological survey done.CI 13.50, BI 28.9, HI 17.30. All 75 blood Baran xxx. Dengue 202 01 14-05-15 14-05-15 Surveillance smears were examined, were negative for malaria parasite.34 out of Rajasthan 61 serum samples tested at Kota medical College were found to be positive for dengue IgM ELISA. One 65 year old male died due to the 13. condition. All cases treated symptomatically. Health education given.

Food Under Rajasthan Udaipur 96 0 16-05-15 16-05-15 investigated the outbreak.02 water samples collected and sent to Control Poisoning Satellite Hospital Udaipur; both the samples were found to be non- potable for drinking purposes. All cases treated symptomatically. Health education given.

Chickenpox 11 0 12-05-15 15-05-15 Control Majority of cases were in 3-16 year age group. Vitamin A distributed to all the susceptible children and all the cases treated symptomatically. Vitamin A given to all susceptible children. Health education given.

Majority of cases were adults 2 rectal Burdwan Diarrheal 38 0 14-05-15 15-05-15 swabs were collected and 03 water samples sent to DPHL Both the Surveillance Disease rectal swab cultures tested negative for any pathogen. All the water samples were non potable. All cases treated symptomatically. Disinfection of water done. Health education given.

Cases reported from Paschim Gopalpara, Gatista, Mangolkote, District xxxviii. Acute Under Burdwan. District RRT investigated the outbreak. Food samples Burdwan Diarrheal 145 0 15-05-15 16-05-15 consisting of sweets collected and sent to BMCH, 2 rectal swabs Control Disease collected and sent to BMCH. Culture showed absence of bacteriological growth. Medical camp organized in the area and all cases treated symptomatically. Health education given. 16.

Cases reported from Village Baroua, GP Satgachia-2, Block Memari- xxxix. Acute II, District Burdwan. District RRT investigated the outbreak. All cases Under were adults. A total of 3 rectal swabs and 03 water Disease samples collected and sent to DPHL; all samples tested negative for West Bengal any pathogen.. All cases treated symptomatically. Measles 28 0 14-04-15 of cases were in 0-5 year age group. All 05 blood samples tested at Institute of Surveillance Serology Kolkata were found to be positive for measles IgM ELISA. Vitamin A given to cases and all the cases were treated symptomatically. Health education done.
