OPENING STATEMENT OF SENATOR ALEXANDER The CHAIRMAN. Senator Murray is on her way, and she sug- gested that I go ahead and start, so I will do that. The Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pen- sions will please come to order. This morning, we’re holding a confirmation hearing on Janet Dhillon, nominated to be Commissioner and Chair of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission; Daniel Gade, nominated to be Commissioner on the same Commission; Carlos Mun˜ iz, nomi- nated
