On March 28, Roland Mack, the Mack family, the mayor (burgermeister) of Rust and special guests opened the park with a ribbon-cutting amid a flurry of showering confetti, balloons, and songs of celebration. The ceremony included a welcome from co- founder Roland Mack that reflected not only on how the park had changed over four decades, but the European community as well. Relation- ships across borders back in 1975 were a far cry from what they are today. It is that in- vigorated sense of European connectivity that has helped Germany’s largest theme park find astounding success. Mighty heroes battle for the right to rule the galaxy. The vast armies of the Emperor of Mankind conquer the stars in a Great Crusade – the myriad alien races are to be smashed by his elite warriors and wiped from the face of history. The dawn of a new age of supremacy for humanity beckons. Gleaming citadels of marble and gold celebrate the many victories of the Emperor, as system after system is brought back under his control. Triumphs are raised on a million worlds to record the epic deeds of his most powerful champions. First and foremost amongst these are the primarchs, superhuman beings who have led the Space Marine Legions in campaign after campaign. They are unstoppable and magnificent, the pinnacle of the Emperor’s genetic experimentation, while the Space Marines themselves are the mightiest human warriors the galaxy has ever known, each capable of besting a hundred normal men or more in combat. -
The Spirit Born People Puran Singh
INTORDUCTION Our life is much influenced by the material attractions and we are least inclined to spiritual progress—the real motive of our life. If one is absorbed in spiritual trance, the worldly attachments vanish away and spiritual pleasures provide solace to the mind and soul. Though the spiritual experiences cannot be described in day-to-day human language, there are some clues showered by the exalted souls for the benefit of humanity. The Guru came to this planet, to bless us with those clues and gave new life to the corpses with His spiritual touch. The present book is an unparalleled account of this resurrection. It provides a spiritual swing to the reader. The author Prof. Puran Singh (1881- 1931 A.D) was not a professional writer or an ordinary scholar. He himself was a mystic par- excellence. The spiritual experiences of course, cannot be shared by any ordinary writer, who has never treaded this path. The present writing is really an expression by an enlightened soul. The reader gets a severe stimulus on his heart and aspires to fly on spiritual heights. The present book was first published in 1928 and it helped many a times to awaken the dead souls. This work has not lost its relevance even today and need to reprint this marvellous work was felt by all quarters. We see the fulfilment of our long-cherished desire in reprinting this book for the benediction of strife-tom humanity. —Publishers PREFACE These are the lecture notes for addresses I proposed to deliver to the Sikh youth of the Punjab. -

That’s what Jeremiah was wondering as he trotted homeward, the pockmarked walls of the Citadel leering down at him as he paced its length. Up on the roof of what was an abandoned warehouse in the lands of the living, Legionnaires stood silent watch by the light of soulfire torches. The ruddy light flickered off of their armor and drawn blades, and cast monstrous shadows down the Citadel’s side. Through the windows, masked and chained wraiths could be seen moving about, always backlit by the same soulfire glow. From somewhere inside came the dim ringing of a hammer and the occasional moan of a Thrall.
