Rozhniativ Raion Map Information Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast Recent heavy rains in eastern Europe have led to flooding, affecting in particular the western part of Ukraine. The floods are considered as the heaviest in Ukraine in the last 50 years, ! Staryi ' exceeding those of 2008. Flooding has affected the western region of Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Zakarpattia and after heavy rainfall from the 22 to 23 June. Considerable damage has been reported, including breached dams and stranded villagers.

The present map shows the flood in the area of Ivano-Frankivsk (Ukraine). The thematic layer has been derived from post-event satellite image using a by means of visual interpretatio. The estimated geometric accuracy (RMSE) is 30 m or better, from native N " 0
