One Guinean aid worker was reportedly beaten because he was believed to be a Kenyan national. He spent four days in detention without food and water and was then locked in a container with no proper ventilation. The drivers and the vehicles were released; the staff members are still missing. This incident happened two days after the authorities had sealed off the refugee camp in response to false local media reports that some migrants were carrying infectious diseases.
