ENHANCING ECCLESBOURNE’S INTERNATIONAL REPUTATION Another International Learning visit to Ecclesbourne School... the latest when the English Faculty was pleased to welcome three teaching staff Katharina Nobs, Eric Giblin and Frida Andersson from the prestigious ProCivitas Sixth Form College in Helsingborg, Sweden. They came on a fact finding visit to see what is regarded as an outstanding faculty at work and discuss teaching methodology at GCSE and A Level. Ecclesbourne School has a long history of welcoming international visitors and has strong exchange links with Scandinavian schools in Denmark and Sweden. International Learning links provide teachers with opportunities to discuss and compare teaching practices which stimulate ideas for support teaching and learning.
