Consequently, McDevitt said he "will take nothing for granted" and that his squad must be ready to play against Bradley University Saturday at Peoria and Kentucky Wesleyan Sunday at Monier Field. -Both double-headers are slated to begin at 1 p.m. "There's no relaxing for us because we're not assured of a bid yet," McDevitt said. Cartoonists fondly bring back 80-81

As the end of another school year finds students yet again working frantically to make up all those assignments they blew off over the semester, they take heart in the fact that summer break is drawing near and students will be able to go home again to work every day in order to come back next year. They will cope with the ever present thrill of sneaking into hometown bars that really do card, and try to explain to mom and dad just why he had to park the car on the front lawn while slipping the empty Jack Daniels under the front seat.
