Her artwork depicts the way the city exudes energy and excitement of talented musicians entertaining the masses. The use of vivid colors and diversity create a sense of enthusiasm represented in her work. Hatcher is a Jacksonville resident who was born in South Georgia and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in art at Albany State University. She paints portraits in an expressionistic style, capturing likeness and emotion to reveal an exciting diversity in execution. She approaches each painting with emotional openness that allows the subject and the medium to dictate the final form.

The commemorative poster is available for purchase for $40 signed and numbered by the artist and $25 unsigned, while supplies last. After the festival, posters will cost $65 (signed and numbered) and $40 unsigned.

Posters and other Jacksonville Jazz Festival merchandise will be available at festival venues and the Official Jacksonville Jazz Festival Store located inside the Main Library at 303 North Laura Street and merchandise booths at the Omni Jacksonville Hotel and the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront.
