NOTORIOUS PICTURES: AGREEMENT SIGNED WITH NETFLIX FOR THE SALE OF THE WORLDWIDE RIGHTS TO ROMANTIC COMEDY “LOVE. WEDDING. REPEAT”

Notorious Pictures, a company listed on the AIM Italia market, organised and managed by Borsa Italiana, and active in the production, acquisition and marketing of film rights (full rights) through all distribution channels (cinema, home video, TV and new media), as well as in cinema management through its subsidiary Notorious Cinemas, communicates that it has signed an agreement with NETFLIX, the world’s leading Internet entertainment service with over 148 million subscribers to TV series, documentaries and feature films with a wide variety of genres and languages in over 190 countries, for the sale of the exclusive global rights to the romantic comedy produced by Notorious Pictures S.p.A., “Love. Wedding. Repeat”.

“Shooting has finished and we are currently in the post-production phase”, commented Chairman and CEO of Notorious Pictures Guglielmo Marchetti. “Our partnership with Netflix has proven to be very profitable and we are certain that we will be able to further expand our production activities with this incredible partner in the near future”.

“Love. Wedding. Repeat” is a comedy set in the outskirts of Rome, in Villa Parisi in Frascati, one of the twelve “Ville Tuscolane”. The film tells the story of a group of English and American guests at a wedding in Rome and how the seating arrangement at the wedding table can have an enormous and lasting impact on the lives of the diners. The film is directed by debutant Dean Craig, who has previously worked alongside directors of the calibre of Frank Oz, Neil Labute, Stephan Elliott and Marc Forster. The cast includes: Sam Claflin (Hunger Games saga, Me Before You, Adrift), Olivia Munn (X-Men: Apocalypse, Ocean’s 8, Office Christmas Party) and Freida Pinto (Slumdog Millionaire, Rise of the Planet of the Apes).
