Officers spoke with the reporting individual who informed the officers the noise was turned off. LAMPOON 8/6/10 NOISE COMPLAINT 8/6/10 44 BOW ST CLOSED 2:45 AM 2:45 AM CAMBRIDGE Officers dispatched to a report of loud noise. Officers arrived and sent a small group of individuals inside and instructed them to keep the noise down. QUINCY HOUSE A 8/6/10 SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY 8/6/10 58 PLYMPTON ST CLOSED 5:11 AM 5:00 AM CAMBRIDGE Officer dispatched to a report that an individual had a verbal altercation with another individual. Officer reports management was aware of the situation. A 8/6/10 THEFT REPORT 8/5/10 101 DUNSTER ST OPEN 11:48 AM 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM CAMBRIDGE Officer dispatched to take a report of a stolen unattended and unsecured wallet valued at $20.00. The wallet contained keys, an identification card, two credit/debit cards and $35.00 cash. The reporting individual informed the officer their Samsung cell phone valued at $150.00 was also stolen. SCIENCE CENTER 8/6/10 THEFT REPORT 8/5/10 11:00 AM - 1 OXFORD ST CLOSED 12:05 PM 8/6/10 3:00 AM CAMBRIDGE Officer dispatched to take a report of a stolen gold Trek bicycle valued at $200.00. The reporting individual informed the officer their bike was locked to the rack with a u-lock valued at $30.00 that was also stolen. There were no suspicious individuals seen in the area at the time of the theft. Officer reports an excavator struck a truck causing minor damage. Officer reports management was notified of the incident. 8/6/10 8/6/10 260 LONGWOOD AVE ASSIST BOSTON POLICE CLOSED 2:04 PM 2:04 PM - 2:26 PM BOSTON Officer informed of a motor vehicle accident. Officer was informed a vehicle rear ended another vehicle and left the area. Officer reports BPD was notified. One individual was transported to a medical facility and BPD arrived and handled the remainder of the incident. ELIOT HOUSE A 8/6/10 SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY 8/6/10 101 DUNSTER ST CLOSED 3:09 PM 3:09 PM CAMBRIDGE Officers dispatched to a report of an individual attempting to steal a bike and then fleeing from the area. Officers report the individual was gone on arrival. Officers were informed the individual threw a chair in two other individuals direction but they were not hit. Officers searched the area for the individual with negative results. 8/6/10 UNWANTED GUEST 8/6/10 971 MEMORIAL DR CLOSED 6:53 PM 6:53 PM CAMBRIDGE Officers report removing unwanted guests from the area.
