WHAT: Forest Hills Cemetery in Huntingdon Valley has become the site of a dispute between the local VFW and Montgomery County officials over flags not being placed on the graves of 1,200 vets for Memorial Day. This oversight has outraged and energized Dom’s listeners. Dom’s daily radio program has been flooded with calls from listeners donating and offering to buy flags. As a result, with the help of a Local VFW Post more than 1,200 flags have been collected. On Flag Day, Saturday, June 14, we will get together at Forest Hills Cemetery to place the flags on the graves of the veterans throughout cemetery.
