LISBON | ALGARVE | SEVILLE
DAY 1: DEPART Depart for Portugal
DAY 2: LISBON After clearing customs/immigration we drive to the city of Lisbon, the capital of Portuguese culture, which embraces modernity whilst maintaining its unique heritage and traditions. Lisbon is constantly recognized as one of the great cities in the world. Upon arrival in Blemen Tower Lisbon we enjoy an orientation city tour before arriving into the hotel for check in and the first of our nightly dinners. Overnight Lisbon
DAY 3: LISBON After a buffet breakfast (served daily) we embark on a guided city tour of Lisbon including touring the UNESCO-listed San Jeronimo Monastery and Blemem Tower, seeing the historic Alfama district and enjoying the sweeping views of Lisbon from the hilltop castle. After the tour we meet a local choir for an exchange program prior to enjoying our firstCONCERT followed by dinner. Overnight Lisbon San Jeronimo Monatery DAY 4: LISBON This morning we tour Sintra, a resort town in the foothills of the Sintra Mountains and home to many exquisite palaces, extravagant mansions and decorative gardens. Enjoy free time to explore the village and the National Palace, once home of Portugal’s kings. Continue onto Pena Palace, where you can explore the palace and its gardens which offer a stunning view over the Atlantic Ocean and Sintra National Park. We return to Lisbon in time to prepare to SING MASS at one of Lisbon’s impressive churches. Overnight Lisbon
Pena Palace, Sintra DAY 5: LISBON | ALGARVE COAST Today we travel by bus along the Portuguese Algarve Coast, known for its Mediterranean beaches and golf resorts. Upon arrival we check into our hotel. Overnight Algarve Coast
DAY 6: ALGARVE COAST Enjoy a guided tour of Faro, the capital of southern Portugal’s Algarve region. One of the features of the tour is seeing the city’s neoclassical Arco da Vila which was built on part of the Algarve Coast original Moorish wall. This monumental archway leads to the old town with cobbled streets and the Faro Cathedral built in the 13th century. After the tour we transfer to the venue for an EXCHANGE and CONCERT. DAY 7: SEVILLE This morning we travel to Seville stopping at Huelva. The city of Huelva is known for its Christopher Columbus sites. These sites include the city of Huelva, Moguer, Palos de la Frontera, and the Rábida Monastery. La Rábida is where Columbus sought the aid of Franciscan brothers to assist in advancing his project Rábida Monastery of discovery. Enjoy time to explore Huelva before continuing to Seville for check in. Overnight Seville
DAY 8: SEVILLE Enjoy a guided city tour of Seville. See the Giralda, la Torre del Oro, the tower of gold and the Royal Alcazar. Following the tour we transfer to the venue for your CONCERT in Seville followed by a Farewell Dinner. Overnight Seville
DAY 9: DEPART Transfer to the airport and travel back home
