SELECTED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE Production Mixer / Dialogue Editor at TBS's "American Dad!” - 2012-present ​ ​ ​ ​ Record and edit dialogue, ADR, group, and occasionally music and temp sound effects. Record high-profile actors, musicians, and celebrities such as Kanye West, Justin Timberlake, Seth MacFarlane, Bryan Cranston, Carl Reiner, Andre Ethier, will.i.am, and Rush Limbaugh. Some music direction. Build the show. Manage all dialogue elements for 20-25 episodes at a time from inception until post-production. Interface with producers, coordinators, artists, writers, actors, and post. Record/edit/sound design/mix promos & other projects.

Assistant Production Mixer / Dialogue Editor at Fox Television's "Family Guy” - 2006-2008 ​ ​ ​ ​ Set up ProTools sessions, set up and struck studio, filed scripts, maintained equipment, imported and exported sessions and OMFs, managed backups and archival.

Head Restoration Engineer at Novastar Digital Sound Services — 2005-2006. ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ Trained and led a team in restoring audio for TV and film. Created department manual. Codified procedures. Assisted in bidding jobs. Scheduled and coordinated freelance employees. Analyzed and restored mono, stereo, and surround soundtracks including dialogue, music, effects, and foreign dubs, using ProTools, Cedar, Waves, NoNoise, Spectrafoo, Dolby, etc. Transfers/laybacks to/from 35mm mag, 16mm mag, optical, DA88, ¼” audio, DigiBeta, ¾” video, D1, D2, ProTools.

SKILLS, TRAITS, AND KNOWLEDGE Record VO, ADR, music. Edit dialogue, sound effects, music. MIx music and to picture.. Denoise audio and restore soundtracks. Gain staging, microphone techniques, signal flow, effects processing. Work with outboard gear, patching, studio setup and maintenance, soldering. Read and write music.
