CICLO DE CINE La Voz De Constantino Romero II El Golpe George Roy Hill (1973) 2 De Agosto De 2013, 17.30 H
CICLO DE CINE La voz de Constantino Romero II El golpe George Roy Hill (1973) 2 de agosto de 2013, 17.30 h Título original: The Sting. Dirección: George Roy Hill. Productores: Tony Bill, Julia Phillips, Michael Phillips. Productores ejecutivos: David Brown, Richard D. Zanuck. Productor asociado: Robert Crawford Jr. Producción: Zanuck/Brown Productions, Universal Pictures. Guion: David S. Ward. Fotografía: Robert Surtees. Música: Scott Joplin, adaptado por Marvin Hamslisch. Montaje: William Reynolds. Dirección artística: Henry Bumstead. Intérpretes: Paul Newman (Henry Gondorff), Robert Redford (Johnny Hooker), Robert Shaw (Doyle Lonnegan), Charles Durning (teniente William Snyder), Ray Walston (J. J. Singleton), Eileen Brennan (Billie), Harold Gould (Kid Twist), John Heffernan (Eddie Niles), Dana Elcar (agente del F.B.I. Polk), Jack Kehoe, Dimitra Arliss, Robert Earl Jones, James Sloyan, Charles Dierkop, Lee Paul, Sally Kirkland, Avon Long, Arch Johnson, Ed Bakey, Brad Sullivan... Nacionalidad y año: Estados Unidos 1973. Duración y datos técnicos: 129 min. Color 1.85:1. -
Testimony of Carolyn Gerster, M.D. Before the Senate Judiciary Committee September 10, 1981 I Would Like to Thank Sen. Strom
327 Testimony of Carolyn Gerster, M.D. Before the Senate Judiciary Committee September 10, 1981 I would like to thank Sen. Strom Thurmond and the members of the Senate Judiciary Committee for the opportunity to testify at this confirmation hearing. I am an Arizona physician and was the co-founder and first president of the Arizona Right to Life Committee in October of 1971. I have served as director from Arizona to the board of directors of the National Right to Life Committee since its formation in 1973 and am the immediate past president of the national organization. My current position is Vice President in charge of International Affairs. I would like to comment on the Justice Department memoran- dum from Kenneth W. Starr, dated July 7, 1981, summarizing his July 6th telephone investigation of Judge Sandra D. O'Connor's voting record on family-related issues during the period that she served in the Arizona State Senate. The memo reads in part: "Judge O'Connor further indicated, in response to my questions, that she had never been a leader or outspoken advocate on behalf • of either pro-life or abortion-rights organizations. She knows well the Arizona leader of the right-to-life movement, a prominent female physician in Phoenix, and has never had any disputes or controversies with her." I was not contacted by the Justice Department for verifi- cation. This statement has been understandably misunderstood by members of the legislature and media to imply that Judge O'Connor and I share similar beliefs on the abortion issue. -

China Statement on the 54Th Session of the JAG (Nov. 25, 2020 Moring Session)
China Statement on the 54th Session of the JAG (Nov. 25, 2020 Moring Session) Ambassador Ms. Molokomme, Ambassador Ms. Kauppi, Executive Director Ms. Coke-Hamilton, Secretary-General Mr. Kituyi, Deputy Director-General Mr. Agah, Dear Delegates, Let me begin by extending, on behalf of the Chinese delegation, a hearty congratulation to Madame Chair for presiding over this 54th JAG session. I believe that under your leadership, this annual session will be a complete success. I would also like to express my heartfelt thanks to Ambassador Ms. Kauppi for her productive work. Madame Chair, In 2019, ITC, adhering to multilateralism, plays a significant role in Aid for Trade by providing technical assistance to developing countries, connecting MSMEs to global value chains, empowering women and youths to participate in trade, and promoting regional cooperation and South-South cooperation. It is particularly worth mentioning that ITC supported nearly 100 MSMEs from developing countries to participate in the second China International Import Expo and helped them share the opportunities of the Chinese market by expanding their exports to China. China would also like to commend that ITC has actively adjusted its working methods by organizing online trainings, workshops, and promoting e-commerce which helps MSMEs in developing countries effectively tackle challenges caused by COVID-19 since the beginning of this year. Madame Chair, COVID-19 is still raging around the world, seriously impacting the world economy. According to WTO’s estimates, global trade in goods will decline by 9.2% in 2020. UNCTAD predicts that global FDI will fall by 30-40% this year.
