However, a lack of multi-scale studies on intra-urban green space limits our knowledge of human settlement environments in this region. In this study, a synergistic methodology, including the main process of linear spectral decomposition, vegetation-soil-impervious surface area model, and artificial digital technology, was established to generate a multi-scale of green space (i.e., 15-m resolution intra-urban green components and 0.5-m resolution park region) and investigate multi-scale green space characteristics as well as its ecological service in 12 central cities of the Inner Mongolian Plateau.

Received: 18 June 2020; Accepted: 25 July 2020; Published: 28 July 2020 Abstract: Land use/cover change (LUCC) and ecosystem service functions are current hot topics in global research on environmental change. A comprehensive analysis and understanding of the land use changes and ecosystem services, and the equilibrium state of the interaction between the natural environment and the social economy is crucial for the sustainable utilization of land resources. We used remote sensing image to research the LUCC, ecosystem service value (ESV), and ecological economic harmony (EEH) in eight main urban areas of Harbin in China from 1990 to 2015. The results show that, in the past 25 years, arable land—which is a part of ecological land—is the main source of construction land for urbanization, whereas the other ecological land is the main source of conversion to arable land.

The region is the grain production and ecological security base of China where the fertile and productive Mollisols are distributed. Though the region was agriculturally developed relatively recently, it went through high intensity cultivation and fast succession processes within short-time scales. Coupled with irrational farming practice choice and land use, hillslope erosion and gully erosion are seriously threatening agricultural production and environmental stability in the region. The awareness of gully erosion by the local governments started in the 1970s, and conservation measures were thus implemented. In this paper, based on our survey, communications with local farmers and stakeholders as well as investigation for gully erosion for the past three years, we summarize the practical and efficient practices to manage gully erosion developed by researchers and farmers in Northeast China during the past 50 years. These practices include various drop structures, soil check dams, masonry check dams, gabion check dams, wicker check dams, continuous live wicker, a shrub plant enclosure, and an arbor plant enclosure.

  • Analysis of Language Landscape in Minority Areas Based on Domain Correlation
2020 3rd International Conference on Arts, Linguistics, Literature and Humanities (ICALLH 2020) Analysis of Language Landscape in Minority Areas Based on Domain Correlation Lingyan Niu Yunnan Normal University, Kunming, Yunnan 650500, China Keywords: Ethnic minorities, Language landscape, Tourist attractions, Multilingual Abstract: As a carrier and medium for displaying information, language signs are visible in today's real world. Language is a sign of national identity. The emergence of minority languages in the language landscape can directly help members of the ethnic group to construct positive national identity. The study of public language signs in urban areas has become the research interest of many scholars all over the world, and gradually developed into the study of language landscape in a certain area now. Chuxiong Yi ancient town is a scenic spot located in minority areas. Based on the domain correlation analysis of its language landscape, this paper explores the characteristics of multilingual language use in tourist attractions in minority areas in order to promote the development of tourism in minority areas. 1. Introduction The concept of language landscape was formally put forward in 1997 and was introduced into China as a professional term in the past ten years. However, Chinese scholars began to study the relevant contents of language landscape as early as the end of 1970s. The purpose of language landscape research is to examine “the visibility and salience of language on public and commercial signs in a certain territory or region” [1].
