Parkend, St Paul (registers start from 1822) Parkend St Paul is an ecclesiastical parish in the Diocese of Gloucester, it was formed in 1842 from extraparochial areas of the Forest of Dean and part of Newland parish. The benefice included St Luke's mission church at Yorkley Wood from 1909. Preston-on-Stour, St Mary Preston-on-Stour was transferred from the Diocese of Gloucester to the Diocese of Coventry in 1918. In 1931 the parish was transferred from Gloucestershire to Warwickshire.
