Il Premio “Giacinto Facchetti - Il bello del calcio” 2015 assegnato a Roberto Donadoni, allenatore del Bologna La cerimonia si è svolta oggi, lunedì 16 novembre a Milano in Sala Buzzati Milano, 16 novembre 2015 - Oggi è stato consegnato a Roberto Donadoni il Premio Internazionale “Giacinto Facchetti – Il bello del calcio”, giunto alla sua decima edizione e istituito da La Gazzetta dello Sport per ricordare il grande capitano dell’Inter e della Nazionale, e presidente nerazzurro scomparso il 4 settembre 2006. La giuria, composta da Gianfelice Facchetti, Giovanni Malagò e Andrea Monti , ha consegnato il premio con la seguente motivazione: “Da calciatore ha lasciato il segno nel Milan più vincente di sempre, poi appese le scarpette al chiodo, è diventato allenatore con un garbo sempre più raro, parole poche, risultati tanti, anche nelle difficoltà estreme dell’ultima stagione alla guida del Parma, condotta con dignità, in mezzo al fallimento”. Alla premiazione erano presenti, accolti dal direttore Andrea Monti, Maurizio Beretta , Chiara Bisconti, Marco Brunelli, Franco Carraro, Ottavio Cinquanta, Claudio Fenucci, Adriano Galliani, Giovanni Malagò, Giuseppe Marotta, Oreste Perri, Antonio Rossi, Nevio Scala, Carlo Tavecchio, Javier Zanetti, e tanti campioni e rappresentanti del mondo del grande sport italiano, insieme ai familiari di Giacinto Facchetti. A Roberto Donadoni sono stati consegnati una scultura di Stefano Pierotti e un assegno di 10 mila euro da destinare in beneficenza. Nella prima edizione, nel 2006, il riconoscimento andò a Julio Gonzalez, giocatore paraguaiano del Vicenza, che ha continuato a giocare nonostante l’amputazione di un braccio in seguito a un incidente stradale. Il 2007 è stato l’anno di Younes Mahmoud Khalef. Paolo Maldini ha vinto l’edizione 2008. Nel 2009 il premio Facchetti è stato assegnato a Cesare Prandelli, nel 2010 a Gianfranco Zola, nel 2011 a Michel Platini, nel 2012 al capitano dell’Inter Javier Zanetti, nel 2013 a Éric-Sylvain Abidal e nel 2014 a Francesco Totti. I colori primari abbracciano la sua carriera per intero: giallorosso, profumo di Roma; azzurro, fragranza di Italia. Per tutto ciò che ha donato da atleta sul campo, per la gioia con cui l’ha fatto, è amato e apprezzato in ogni stadio. Quella colta, “legale” e alpina dell’avvocato Peppino Prisco, quella industriale e borghese della dinastia Moratti, quella semplice e romantica di Giacinto Facchetti, uomo d’altri tempi e campione di tutti, non solo dell’Inter. E poi le tante anime dei tifosi interisti, i più esigenti del mondo. Non potrò mai dimenticare quel tifoso di mezza età, in quel pomeriggio di qualche anno fa, che picchiava con violenza i pugni sul pullman dell’Inter insultando a squarciagola Marco Materazzi. Quell’anonimo invasato indossava però una maglia nerazzurra col numero ventitré, quella di Materazzi, naturalmente. E poi l’amico Marco Policastro, che il 22 maggio 2010 allo stadio “Santiago Bernabeu” di Madrid, al minuto novantadue, quando eravamo già tutti coi pugni al cielo al grido di Campioni d’Europa, riusciva ancora a mandare a quel paese Pandev dopo un passaggio sbagliato. Giacinto Facchetti però è stato unico, trasversale e indimenticabile, quasi un eroe romantico.
