The fascinating website contains a huge database of genealogical information dedicatedly researched by Stephanie Jenkins, from which these outline details have been taken.

Information concerning the headstones was provided by Nina Morgan and Philip Powell whose book Geology of Oxford Gravestones provides a very informative guide to the gravestones in St Sepulchre’s and five further local graveyards. The book can be purchased via www.gravestonegeology.uk

The friends of St Sepulchre’s was founded in 2005 to clear the serious overgrowth of the site. The basic maintenance is now carried out by Oxford City Council but the friends of St Sepulchre’s have regular working sessions to add to this. If you would like to be involved do contact us through the website.
