And a few months back, when our bishop gave us his permission and blessing to found the Third Order (or lay branch) of our religious family, we also learned that we’re not the best of organizers and administrators either. Though we try to put our whole heart and soul into everything, we can only laugh at our many shortcomings. External results are not our main goal (nor are they even in our control). Whether doing something big or small, easy or difficult, routine or extraordinary, our efforts are always aimed in the same direction…Will of God. So if you have many skills or none at all, if you want your greatest talent to be giving honor and glory to God, if your loftiest ambition is to live in love and joy…come and join our family! Fr.

Our Lady was dressed in mauve, very sad and with tears in her eyes. Her heart was pierced by three swords: first sword means the unworthily celebration of Holy Mass and Communion unworthily received, the second sword is being unfaithful to, and giving up the vocation as priest or religious and the third sword means betrayal of the faith. Our Lady asked for “Prayers, Sacrifice and Penance.” On the 13th of July, 1947, Our Lady appeared again to Pierina, in a white dress. She was adorned with three beautiful roses, white, red and yellow in the place of the three swords: the white rose repre- sented the spirit of Prayer, the red rose the spirit of Sacrifice, and the yellow rose the spirit of Penance and Conversion. Pierina had not rec- ognized the Mother of God, so she asked, “Please tell me who are you?” Our Lady smiled saying: “I am the Mother of Jesus and the Mother of all of you.     Facts from 1947 to 1960 Brescia A group of charitable persons took care of the lodging of Pierina Gilli in a place far from Montichiari, according to the indications of the ecclesiastical authorities: they obtained that, at least, she was temporarily accommodated at the Convent of the Franciscan Sisters of the Lily in Brescia on 20th May 1949. This temporariness lasted 19 years. Low Sunday in year 1966 On 17th April 1966, the fi rst Sunday after Easter, called Low Sunday (Dominica in albis), the Most Blessed Virgin Mary apparently appeared to Pierina in Località Fon- tanelle among the fi elds of Montichiari, near the ancient spring of St. George, and apparently She invited all the sick to go to the miraculous spring to receive mercy and consola- tion. On 13th May 1966 the Virgin Mary asked to call it “Spring of Grace” and to build a basin to receive all Her sons, in particular the sick ones.     The Bishop of Brescia Brescia, November 21, 2019 Dear All, The places and structures in our Diocese in the Fontanelle area, in the territory of the parish of Santa Maria Immacolata in Borgosotto di Montichiari (BS), have for many years now become an important spiritual reference point and a place of pilgrimage for thousands of faithful from Italy and from abroad. This impressive phenomenon of prayer and veneration towards the holy Mother of the Lord – here invoked as Rosa Mystica and Mother of the Church – is linked in a way that is not secondary to the spiritual experience of Pierina Gilli (1911-1991), an experience that is the subject of a renewed phase of study and discernment by the ecclesiastical authority, both at the diocesan level and in the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. The purpose of this in-depth investigation is to better understand whether and how this kind of spiritual experience can promote and increase the current Christian life, the sense of belonging to the Church and the participation in their mission of evangelization, under the protection and inspiration of the Holy Mother of the Lord. Since 2001, my esteemed predecessors, in strict agreement with the indications of the competent organs of the Apostolic See, constantly reaffirmed the importance of welcoming and recognizing the exercise of public worship in the Fontanelle area, moderating it through the promulgation of special diocesan directives. It is a joy for me to inform you that at my explicit request, the Apostolic See itself, through the Congregation for Worship, has allowed the Diocesan Shrine Rosa Mystica - Mother of the Church to be instituted at this location and I willingly intend to establish it with a special decree, starting from 7 December 2019.

Cuốn sách này sẽ như một ngôi sao chói sáng trong đêm đen khải huyền đang hòng ập xuống trên chúng ta. Tôi biết rằng cha Thaddeus đã thu thập và ghi chép lại tất cả những tài liệu để viết cuốn sách này một cách hết sức chăm chỉ vào trong lòng không kém phần đau đớn. Cha thường hy sinh nhiều ngày để đi giảng cho những người được đặc ân thị kiến ở Montichiari; và chính bản thân ngài cũng nhận được tại nơi Ðức Mẹ hiện ra những ơn soi sáng cho được thông hiểu những gì đã xảy ra. Trong nhiều dịp, ngài đã tìm được những chi tiết do vị linh mục cai quản giáo khu trước đây, đức ông Rossi, và nhiều cư dân ở tỉnh Montichiari kể lại: ngài đã tiếp xúc với các nhân chứng đã được mục kích nhãn tiền.
