As spring tries to make its way, it is time to start planning for BBQ’s and Pool Parties. What better way to enjoy the spring weather to come, then in the company of good friends at an afternoon BBQ, listening to The Hit Men perform all the their hits, at Preakness Hills Country Club, on Sunday May18, at 4:30pm. You and your family are invited to spend some time with us, at the Fourth, Team Zoey - Hit Men Benefit Concert!!! And as usual, all the profits from the show go to the Progeria Research Foundation, to find the treatments and discover the cure, of this terrible disease.

For those of you who are new to Team Zoey, we are an organization formed in 2010 after my grand daughter, Zoey Penny, now four years old, was diagnosed with progeria. A fatal and very rare disease, progeria affects about 250 children word wide. These kids experience accelerated aging, and all the problems associated with of aging, generally dying of heart disease, with an average life expectancy of only 13 years. The Progeria Research Foundation is the only organization in the world dedicated to solving the mystery of progeria, so Team Zoey, the NJ Chapter of PRF, sponsors many events through out the year to raise money for this cause.

Every spring, the wonderful musicians who make up the Hit Men, put on a concert for us. They are former members of the Four Seasons, and other top performers, including The Critters, Carly Simon, Barry Manilow Jim Croce and Elton John.

The day is very casual, and we encourage you to bring your young kids and grand kids to the show. In fact, for all kids under 11, admission is free!
