Departure from your hotel by car, the trek starts from the guide’s own village. Accessible to all, Agung will adapt the tour to your requirements. Despite the modernisation and the expansion of the tourism on the island, Bali has managed to keep some secluded places. Only a few priviledged customers will discover them. To see the real Bali, you must deserve it. The Manku have a motto: « You do not choose Bali; it is Bali that choses you ». You will be part of the exclusive group of people remembering Bali for what it really is. This tour is a unique opportunity to share a meal with Agung and his family. Don't like spicy? Do you require vegetarian? No worries: Agung will adapt the recipe for you. It was often told to me that I would be unable to do it. But for the help and persistent encouragement from my mother, Deborah Glover, and my church family, I would have never been able to complete this process. After having to endure at least four eye surgeries during the research process and the challenges of trying to find participants, I found it difficult to press on and wanted to give up many times. These individuals told me to keep fighting for what I wanted by keeping the faith and believing all things were possible. I would also like to thank Dr.
