No.418, Rawada village, Parawada Mandal Pre-Feasibility Report Visakhapatnam District, Andhra Pradesh. 1.0 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY M/s.Unity Infra Tech Projects Ltd was granted a mining lease for quarrying Gravel & Building Stone over an extent of 2.023 Ha, in Sy.No.418, Rawada village, Parawada Mandal, Visakhapatnam District, Andhrapradesh State, by Deputy Director, Mines & Geology, Visakhapatnam Govt. of Andhra Pradesh, vide Proc No. 3963/Q2V/ 2008 dated 15.04.2014 for a period of 5 Years Copy of the Order is enclosed at Annexure I The approved mining plan pertaining to the quarry lease area was obtained from Deputy Director of Mines & Geology, Visakhapatnam, vide Lr. No: 3963/Q2V/2008 dated 15.04.2014, for the 2 years period. Approved mine plan is given at Annexure II. As per the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, New Delhi, Notification, S.O. 141(E) Appendix – XI, dt 15th January 2016, the project falls under Category “B2”, which mandates obtaining Environmental Clearance for the project from respective District Environmental Impact Assessment Authority (DEIAA). Accordingly, application in the prescribed format, Form-1M, duly filled in, along with Pre Feasibility Report (PFR) and approved mining plan, is being submitted to DEIAA, Visakhapatnam district, Andhra Pradesh state, for obtaining Environmental Clearance to the project. The quarrying will be carried out by open-cast semi-mechanized method only, as per the approved Mining Plan. The entire lease area is classified as Govt. land and no forest land is involved. The proposed annual production of road metal is 96,390 M3 The estimated project cost is about Rs. 0.50 Cr The project will generate employment to the local people. No.418, Rawada village, Parawada Mandal Pre-Feasibility Report Visakhapatnam District, Andhra Pradesh. 2.2 Brief Description of Nature of the Project The proposed project is quarrying minor mineral, ie., gravel for building stone, over the granted quarry lease area by open cast semi mechanized method. The quarried stone will be crushed to road metal of required sizes. The granted quarry lease area is 2.023 Ha and the average road metal production in the 2 years mining plan period will be 1,92,780 M3. 2.3 Need for the Project & its Importance to the Country/ Region The demand for road metal, aggregate, rock sand and building stones is increasing day by day due to rapid urbanization, industrialization and growth in infrastructure Also with the restrictions imposed by the Govt. on quarrying and transportation of river sand, the demand for manufactured sand, which is technically approved as a substitute for river sand, has increased enormously. In view of the domestic demand for road metal, the proposed project assumes importance and contributes to earnings to the state. Also it will contribute to the regional revenue by way of royalty, direct and indirect taxes. The quarrying and associated activities in the mineral rich areas increase the gains in gross domestic product (GDP). While providing direct employment to 25 people, the project will provide indirect opportunities to transporters and labor associated with it. 2.4 Demand – Supply Gap The project is envisaged to meet the demand supply gap in the local market. 2.5 Export Potential This project is conceptualized to market the road metal in domestic market. No.418, Rawada village, Parawada Mandal Pre-Feasibility Report Visakhapatnam District, Andhra Pradesh. 3.0 Project Description 3.1 Type of Project The project is quarrying minor mineral i.e. stone for Gravel & building stone over quarry lease area by open cast semi mechanized method. 3.2 Location of the Project The location of project is over an extent of 2.023 Ha, in Sy. No: 418 of Rawada village, Parawada Mandal, Visakhapatnam District, Andhra Pradesh state. 3.3 Details of alternative sites considered and basis for selecting the site. As the project is site specific, no alternative sites have been considered. The basis for selection of the site is availability of road metal stone in huge deposits in the lease area and the quarry site being away from habitation so as not to cause any environmental impacts. 3.4 Size & Magnitude of Operation The details of magnitude of operations are as follows: The granted quarry lease area is 2.023 Ha. Total mineable road metal stone reserves available are assessed as 4,60,977 M3 over the quarry life period of 5 years. The average production is 96,390 M3 / Annum. The production of road metal in the 3yrs plan period will be 1, 92,780 M3. No waste will be generated from the quarry. 3.5 Project Description with Process Details The project is quarrying road metal stone by open cast semi mechanized method. M/s. PROCESS FLOW CHART OF ROAD METAL QUARRYING Clearing the Site Removing the Top Soil Removing Over Burden Drilling Blast Holes Charging the drilled Holes with explosives Blasting Collecting large Metal stones Beaking them into required sizes Transporting to crusher Area 3.5.1 Drilling and Blasting: Drilling and blasting is required for excavation of the Road metal and Building which is used for Stone & Metal. 54mm hammer drilling will be employed for blasting holes in staggered pattern of 2X3m with depth of 3m. Each blast holed with yield 61 Tons (24.40M3). Lessee will apply for the explosive license for storing the explosive with 100Kg portable magazine.

Also submitted that a meeting was conducted by VUDA on Unified Metropolitan Traffic and Transportation with the Dist Collector, Visakhapatnam, Commissioner of Police, Visakhapatnam city, Superintendent of Police, Visakhapatnam (Rural) GVMC officials etc., and a PowerPoint presentation was also given on the traffic and transportation issues on 25.6.2013.

    Note on Justification for Allotment of Forest lands at Nadupuru Village Pedagantyada Mandal, Visakhapatnam District to APIIC Andhra Pradesh Industrial infrastructure Corporation Ltd (APIIC) is a wholly owned undertaking of Government of Andhra Pradesh, vested with the objective of providing industrial infrastructure through the development of industrial areas, the Corporation has so far developed more than 300 Industrial parks spreading over an extent of about Ac 1,21,655.00(including allotted area). Besides, the Corporation is also developing sector focused parks like a Apparel park, Food processing parks/leather parks, Special Economic Zones in the State. The Corporation has also constructed 3500 Industrial sheds, 4800 Dormitory units, 466 Commercial shops, with the advent of economic liberalization the Corporation has reoriented itself to the changing needs of economy and assumed the role of facilitator. To its credit the Corporation has developed Hi-Tech City with a private promoter. The Corporation has to its credit the execution of civil works for various Government Departments. It has executed works covering Referral Hospital, Navodaya Schools Polytechnic Buildings Court Complex, Building and Hostel for Indian Institute of Information Technology. Government entrusted the responsibility of constructing Games Stadia and Games Village for the National Games on Project Management basis. The Corporation is the Nodal Agency for Government sponsored scheme like Growth Centre, Export Promotion Industrial Parks, Integrated Infrastructure Development Centre. In Visakhapatnam District the Corporation is the principle facilitator in Mega Projects like Andhra Pradesh Special Economic Zone, Visakhapatnam Industrial Water Supply, Gangavaram Port, Pharma and Industrial Parks at Parawada.     1951 CENSUS HANDBOOK i - VISAKHAPATNAM DISTRICT , PBIN'l'BD BY THE SUPERINTENDENT GOVERNMENT PBBSS MADRAS JU3 , PREFACE The Government used to compile and publish District Manuals for each district prior to 1905. The/manuals became obsolete within a few years of their publication, containing , 88 they did not only matter of ,3 more or less permanent charaoter such as physical characteristics, history, religion and ethnography, as also statistical matters which soon became out of date. The Government decided to replace the District Manuals by another publication known as the District Gazetteer, consisting of two volumes, A and B. The A volume contained descriptive matter and suoh general figures, as might be necessary to explain' the text, and the B volume contained detailed statistics. They also decided that the B volume, should be brought out periodically, especially after eaoh decennial census. Betwe61l1905 and 1927 A volumes for thirteen districts were published. In 1927 they were discontinued. B volumes for all the districts were published between 1906 and 1915. They were oontinued to be published even after the 1931 census. They were not published after the 1941 census. Village Statistics, oontaining the results of the census for every village in tfe l'3tate, were first oompiled and published in 1872, at the instance of Mr. C. E. Gover, who was then the Census Officer in Madras. His successor, in 1882, considered that this publication led to needless expenditure and trouble in printing the tables villagewar,. but the Government decided that the Village Statistics should continue to be published. The practice of issuing Village Statistics at every census was f<1!owed subsequently.
