After ranking 116 in the nation in punt return yards in 2011, both players and coaches have been hard at work so far during spring practices. Head Coach Mike Leach said his special teams coordinator Eric Russell has done a good job installing new fundamentals to WSU. “Our guys do a really good job teaching technique,” Leach said. “I think sometimes spe- cial teams gets to where it’s just scheme-related.
