Confirmation: Your library would have coverage from 1/1/2017 – 12/31/2017

E-mail List: We send one e-mail at the beginning of each month listing new release DVDs covered under the license. If you would like various people at your library to receive these emails, please send us their name(s) and email address(es). You may wish to add the e-mail address that these come from to your ‘safe list’ to make sure you receive them. The address is [email protected].

License Coverage: With your annual public performance site license you can show an unlimited amount of films for any aspect of programming inside the library. You can show any DVD or VHS tape that is in your library, home or local video store as long as our license covers it. Renting, borrowing or buying legal copies to use is acceptable. We do not provide copies of the movies. Outside groups in the community can also show movies in the library with this site-based license!

Movie Licensing USA’s annual license covers 95% of the major motion picture studios including and exclusive to: ******************************************************************************************************************** Walt Disney Studios/Buena Vista Pictures (Touchstone Pictures, Hollywood Pictures, Miramax Films, Pixar) Warner Brothers (Picturehouse, Turner Entertainment, Hanna-Barbera, Allied Artists, Lorimar Pictures, Ladd Company, RKO Pictures) Sony Pictures (Columbia Pictures, TriStar Pictures, Revolution Studios, Screen Gems) NBC Universal (Focus Features, October Films, Polygram) Dreamworks Pictures (Go Fish Pictures) MGM (United Artists, Orion Pictures, Pathe-Cinema) New Line Cinema (Fine Line Features) Paramount Pictures (Paramount Classics, Republic Pictures, Paramount Vantage) Lions Gate Films (Artisan Films, Trimark, Vestron) ******************************************************************************************************************** **The two major motion picture studios we do not represent are 20TH Century Fox and Sony Classics. You may not show their movies under this license.

Services: o Online Movie Search Tool: To check if a film you wish to show is covered, go to our online movie search tool. If the film comes up, you are free to show it. It is best to enter just one word of the title to search as our program is not sensitive to alternative spellings, etc. Most movies will have a link to a brief description and still photo. The movie is still covered under the annual license if the title does not have this link. If the movie you are searching for does not appear when you do your movie search but you believe it is from one of the studios on the license, please call us at 888-267-2658 and we can assist with PPR coverage. http://www.movlic.com/library/search.asp

o Online Promotional Materials: Your customer log-in is 194488-1. Your library has access to over 500 full-color movie tickets, movie posters and bookmarks that you can customize to your show date and time. If you can’t find a title that you are looking for we offer a youth and adult generic poster for you to use. There are also Disney Fun & Games Activity Sheets and a Community Invitation here. These can be found under “Access Publicity” on the public library website, http://www.movlic.com/PDFWeb/libraryLogin.aspx.

Community Invite: An Annual Movie License is site-based, allowing public performances of movies from our studios inside the walls of the library. This means that outside groups in the community can also show movies inside the library! To make this easy to convey to your community, we have provided a customizable community invitation on our website.

o Online Programming Ideas & Tools: Our Advanced Movie Search tool allows your library to search by title, actor, director, rating or genre. We also have regularly updated lists of movie ideas for the Summer Reading Program, Teen Read Week, Holidays, Month-by-Month events and more.
