Penalties: - ***1 Booked: Will Hayward ***--- The match at Arkham Asylum was fairly even, with the away team being slightly stronger - which they somehow converted to a 7-0 win. Penalties: - (1 missed) ***- Booked: --- ***Max von Prophet The Singers actually had some chances at the Savoy, with an early lead and some play, but Generation X grinded them down with a few bloodpoints well spent on stamina. Saturday Morning FC - Lower Tadfield Apocalypse 4 : 6 Scorers: George of the Jungle (32., 84.), Pinky (88.), Fat Albert (57.) *** Chalky (56., 89.), The delivery man (77.), Pepper (37.), Wensleydale (63.) Penalties: - ***1 Booked: Baby Bear, Fat Albert, Squirtle ***--- The home team dominated at ACME Park, but the Apocalypse completely undeservedly bags six goals, and walk away with two very lucky points. Rosedale Open Match day 18 =========================== Mishima Zaibatsu - Saturday Morning FC 0 : 4 Scorers: --- ***Squirtle (40., 72., 76.), Quickdraw McGraw (41.) Booked: --- ***George of the Jungle, Quickdraw McGraw A match both teams really needed to win to keep up in the medal race. As it turned out, the home team had a large majority of the chances, but proved mystically unable to score, and SMFC get two points for free to trade in for the two that were stolen from them last round. Monkey Business - Sale Savoyards 1 : 1 Scorers: Minnie Goudsoup (80.) ***Constance (85.) The Singers manage to play almost even with the Pirates Wannabe, and claim a very important point in their fight for survival at the top level. Dangermouse - Call of Cthulhu 2 : 3 Scorers: Baron Silas Greenback II (85.) ***Will Hayward (41., 74.), Daoloth (5.) Penalties: 1 ***- Booked: --- ***Mi-Go, Yig More bad luck for the Mouseketeers, as the weaker Lurking Fear fight their way to being only somewhat weaker, and then seeing them bag three goals for a lucky away win! Really New Bremen Cyberdruids - Grunts United 1 : 4 Scorers: Chris Standbracker (49.) ***Lenny Lesser (21., 53.), Cantrip (82.), Terroc Rocktar (12.) They Cyberdruids needed fighting spirit to have their chances at Rosewood Cemetary, but had none, and have to settle for no points this weekend. Camarilla Divided - Lower Tadfield Apocalypse 5 : 1 Scorers: Eliza 'Eeehh' Rodham-Cox (10., 59.), Sebastien 'Decisive' Gibraltar (25., 88.), Nina the Unknown (4.) ***--- Penalties: - ***1 Booked: Eliza 'Eeehh' Rodham-Cox ***Mr Rajit Generation X cuts Apocalypse's lead in half with this convincing and deserved win in the Mansion Cellar. the Ancients - The 5 Percent Community 1 : 0 Scorers: Dromiceiomimus (19.) ***--- Neither team felt the points were worth fighting for, and thus the Oldtimers' home advantage decided the issue - two points for the Ancients, who keep the hope of survival alive. Still, close, but not close enough - World Ambassadors take both points, and are top of the table until Batt in Blax play their match. Sleep Wanderers put on their golden hair and karma robes, and snatches a point from the Mobsters. Such theft only begs the question; when will an offer be made that cannot be refused? Booked: --- ***Spartacus This match is key to decide promotions from Lexington this year, and the Mobsters left little doubt that they will be following the Black Caps and the Stabbers up to the premiership.     Win 13 R9 Draw 0 Loss 8 Cricket Results BSHS No Match 0 Opposition Team Result TGS Score Match Summary Score The final round of the 2021 season welcomed BSHS up the hill to a picturesque Mills Oval after all the rain earlier in the week. With BSHS having struggled during the season it was a great opportunity for our boys to finish with a win. Our year 12’s were eager to walk off Mills one last time having given everything they could today. When inspecting the pitch it looked as though there could be something in it for the bowlers. Sam Anderson won the toss and elected to bowl but it was clear very early that the pitch didn’t have any demons in it. The boys put in one of their best efforts in the field putting their body on the line trying to back their bowlers up. BSHS batted very well building an innings by running well and only hitting our poor deliveries. There wasn’t much wrong with what our boys were delivering as there were no missed chances and clever batting by their openers. The two put on 124 together until Jem Ryan came on for his second spell and broke the partnership. The very next delivery Jem ripped in a yorker that never looked liked missing. With two from two Jem narrowly missed out on his hat trick having hit the batsman’s pad but it looked to be going over the top. BSHS tried to dig back in but Callum managed to prevent this taking a wicket of his own with a caught and bowled.

The plan divides New Zealand Cricket’s strategic priorities into five areas: LEADERSHIP 06 WINNING teams 16 CONTENTS PEOPLE 10 BUSINESS of cricket 30 03 GROWTH of the game 12 The format of this annual report has been changed from Annual Report previous years to follow these five key themes.     Outside-edge Issue 104 Autumn 2019 The magazine of the Gloucestershire Exiles News and views on and about Gloucestershire County Cricket Club Congratulations all round Welcome to the Autumn 2019 issue of Outside-edge Editorial A remarkable season for cricket with headlines on the front pages for the first time in many years. The game hasn’t enjoyed such a high profile since Botham’s summer in 1981. The World Cup was a resounding success with exciting games and colourful, packed crowds all the way to the incredible conclusion at Lord’s. As we know only too well, 50-over cricket can provide great entertainment with games swinging to and fro but there has been little to match the drama of the last few overs of the final. An England victory in such a manner has been a significant boost for our game. If that wasn’t enough, there was more nail-biting cricket to follow in the Ashes series. The England cricket squad could be forgiven for focussing their attentions on the one-day format and did seem to have problems in transferring skills to five day test matches but they did muster themselves for some memorable performances. What a character Ben Stokes is! His off-field misdemeanours may be reprehensible (past ‘bad boys’ rarely ran the risk of having their behaviour caught on camera, of course!) but he is a remarkable cricketer. I was lucky enough to be in Cape Town to watch his splendid innings of 250 but even this was eclipsed by his superhuman efforts this summer.
