Virtual International Student Transfer Fair Guide Please review this guide prior to attending the virtual transfer fair on May 7th from 10am-12:30pm. You should know which college representatives you would like to meet with before the event. Pick at least one California State University (CSU), one University of California (UC), one Private College in California and one Out of State. However, you may pick as many as you’d like! Instructions on the Day of the Fair: 1. Log into ZOOM Meeting – https://cccconfer.zoom.us/j/91942963923 2. Type in the Chat box which University you are interested in meeting with 3. You will be assigned to their breakout room to join for a personalized session 4. Once you are finished meeting with that college representative you can return to the Main room and ask to be assigned to a new university room to speak with another one. You can find more information at our website here College Leap Chapters: College Leap chapters are student clubs at community colleges. With the help and guidance from the College Leap team, they serve as local liaisons and strive to build projects that help the international community at their colleges. Each chapter is run by a 6-person leadership team, and all leaders are considered as non- paid interns at College Leap with offers and internship certificates. As a chapter leader, you will receive: • an Internship experience at a Berkeley nonprofit to give back to your community; • a hands-on opportunity to work with highly motivated UC Berkeley students; • a leadership journey to enrich your transfer application; • priorities in participating in activities and mentorship offered by College Leap. To become a chapter leader, you need to: • be a full time student at a community college; • At least 8 hours per week (exclude final/midterm weeks); • fill in the application form here (resume is optional); • have weekly meetings to set goals and hit them to remain your position.
