  • China Turns up Heat on Ex-Security Chief with Crash Probe
CHINA PRIME TARGET: Zhou Yongkang was head of domestic security and a member of the Communist Party Standing Politburo Committee, making him one of the most powerful people in China, until he stepped down in 2012. REUTERS/STRINGER Authorities have begun investigating a crash in 2000 that killed the first wife of Zhou Yongkang, the prime target in China’s biggest corruption scandal, Reuters source says. China turns up heat on ex-security chief with crash probe BY BENJAMIN KANG LIM, CHARLIE ZHU AND DAVID LAGUE SPECIAL REPORT 1 CHINA’S POWER STRUGGLE BEIJING/HONG KONG, SEPTEMBER 12, 2014 ittle is known about the exact circum- stances in which Wang Shuhua was Lkilled. What has been reported, in the Chinese media, is that she died in a road ac- cident sometime in 2000, shortly after she was divorced from her husband. And that at least one vehicle with a military license plate may have been involved in the crash. Fourteen years later, investigators are looking into her death. Their sudden inter- est has nothing to do with Wang herself. It has to do with the identity of her ex-hus- band – once one of China’s most powerful men and now the prime target in President Xi Jinping’s anti-corruption campaign. Investigators are probing the death of the first wife of Zhou Yongkang, China’s HUNTING TIGERS: President Xi Jinping has launched the biggest corruption crackdown since the retired security czar, a source with di- communists came to power in 1949, going after “tigers” or high-ranking officials as well as “flies”.

Its futuristic design will shape yaur universe. 5M A 5H +5% SPEED! Because the M uscle Power construction keeps the frame and string in closer and tighter contact, the frame and string function as a single unit. Thanks to this unity, there is no energy loss and no energy waste—the full magnitude of smash energy at impact is transferred directly to the shuttlecock. Rounding corners realize the fram e's full power potential The Muscle Power grommet hole construction seats th e string on Round Archways that cause no string stress-load and no fatigue through contact friction. Rounding t he cor ners create total unity between the frame and string as they are in much closer and tighter contact, which realize a new magnitude of face stability that lets you launch shots with venomous power. Unrivaled Firepower — the entire frame receives and transfers the full energy of a hit straight to the shuttlecock. "Durability" helps hold tension. • Resident Mobility Analysis Based on Mobile-Phone Billing Data
Available online at www.sciencedirect.com ScienceDirect Procedia - Social and Behavioral Sciences 96 ( 2013 ) 2032 – 2041 13th COTA International Conference of Transportation Professionals (CICTP 2013) Resident Mobility Analysis Based on Mobile-Phone Billing Data Rao Zonghaoa, Yang Dongyuana*, Duan Zhengyua aKey Laboratory of Road and Traffic Engineering of the Ministry of Education, Tongji University, P.O.Box 201804, Shanghai,China Abstract Many researches on resident mobility came from traditional data collection methods such as artificial or telephone surveys, but those approaches are difficult to update and the results are limited to a certain point in time. In the past few years, some innovative approaches have sought to use mobile devices to collect spatiotemporal data. In this paper we analyze spatial- temporal characteristics of resident mobility in the city of Shenzhen, using a data set captures for a seven-day period of more than one million anonymous mobile-phone users. In addition, we propose a method of recognizing the location of employment based on this kind of data and then plot an employment distribution map of Shenzhen. This method provides a new way to observe the employment distribution in a city. Understanding resident mobility from a city-wide perspective could provide researchers with convenience to forecast the traffic demand and take measures to traffic management, and could also lead to more informed decision making in both city planning and mass transit planning. ©© 20132013 The Authors.
