My Jesus, I believe that Thou art present in the . I love Thee above all things, and I desire Thee in my soul. Since I cannot now receive Thee sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. As though Thou wert already there, I embrace Thee and unite myself wholly to Thee; permit not that I should ever be separated from Thee.

 PLENARY INDULGENCES IN NOVEMBER : This year, per special Vatican ruling, for the entire month of November, a Plenary Indulgence, applicable only to the Souls in Purgatory, may be gained each day by visiting a cemetery and praying for the dead, even if only mentally. The Plenary Indulgence traditionally offered only on November 2 for those who visit a church or an oratory and recite the Our Father and the Creed can also be gained on any day in November. The usual conditions apply for Plenary Indulgences: Confession within 20 days, reception of Holy Communion and prayer for the Holy Father’s intentions (traditionally one Our Father, Hail Mary, and Glory Be) once per Plenary Indulgence sought, and freedom from attachment to sin. DAILY MASS FOR THE DEAD  LATIN /E NGLISH MISSALS ARE AVAILABLE FOR SALE after Mass at the missal table at the back of the church for With Propers for a Deceased Woman $6.00 each. Both the Red (conventional Mass) and Grey ( Mass) Missals are available. These missals can help familiarize yourself, family, and friends with the Traditional Latin Mass. * * * The Daily Mass for the Dead is a Requiem Mass with special Propers. For this reason, we are supplying the Grey Missals used at funeral Masses instead of the usual Red Missals. Where the Propers are different from a funeral Mass, this handout contains the correct ones. Otherwise, you are referred to the appropriate pages of the Grey Missal.

There are several subsets of Propers for the Daily Mass for the Dead, for example for a deceased priest, for a deceased bishop, for multiple deceased individuals, and, in this handout, for an individual deceased woman.

A Requiem Mass differs from a regular Mass in several ways: Certain prayers are omitted or changed; there is no final blessing, and no Last when Absolution follows Mass.
