Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Local Offer Support for We have a graduated response to the children’s Special children and Educational Needs. All children have their own individual young people with learning needs which are addressed through quality SEN and whole class teaching and careful differentiation according disabilities to prior attainment and learning style. In addition to this we also recognise and address more specific needs with appropriate interventions in and out of the classroom. We cater for children with difficulties in Cognition and Learning, Communication and Interaction, Social Emotional and Mental Health and Sensory or Physical needs. Most of our children who are on register are on the SEN Support stage of the Code of Practice so their needs are fully catered for in school with some input from external services. We also have some children in school with higher levels of need whose needs are met through an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The Special Educational Needs Coordinator is Miss Amy Keogh. Miss Keogh can be contacted through the school office on 01747 852018, [email protected] or direct at [email protected]. Links See our school's SEND policy and support information
