Modesto City Schools (MCS) Board of Education trustees approved a resolution on April 20, 2020 18 H Street regarding grading, officially makingstudents’ third quarter grades their final grades for the 2019-20 year. Principal As a result of school closure all sports and extracurricular activities were cancelled. Fall 2020 remote learning continued returning to traditional grading procedures. Alfredo Gonzalez On-line learning (OLL) classes curriculum changed to Florida Virtual School through Modesto Virtual Associate Principal Student Group A-F Academy. SAT and ACT testing is not available within 100 miles, student population unable to afford travel to Armando Medina possible open test sites. In addition most California schools are still unable host testing due to state Assistant Principal mandated closures. Student Group G-N Student extra curricular activities still cancelled due to on site school and state mandated closures.

Brad Taylor Established in 1883, Modesto High School was the first public secondary school in the Assistant Principal city of Modesto and is currently one of seven comprehensive high school campuses in Student Group O-Z a community of over 200,000 people. A suburban city located in the San Joaquin Valley of north central California, much of Modesto’s economy revolves around Kerry Castellani International Baccalaureate agriculture. Our diverse student population includes over 26 languages. Coordinator Modesto High School is home to three special programs on campus: Sue Blickenstaff Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID), Performing Arts Academy AVID Coordinator (PAA), and International Baccalaureate (IB). Students may participate in more than one program. Gloria Garibay Modesto High School offers the only IB program in the county, drawing high College Counselor achieving students from throughout the county, as well as neighboring counties. IB Diploma Candidates are required to perform approximately 150 Alejandra Contreras hours of CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) and satisfactorily complete the Marvin Greener Extended Essay (EE) requirement. In addition, they must complete a collaborative Jerry Ochoa service project. IB Certificate Candidates enrolled in English IBHL 2 are required to Jorge Perez perform approximately 100 hours of CAS.
