THE CITY of EDMONTON BYLAW 19283 SPEED ZONES BYLAW Amendment No THE CITY OF EDMONTON BYLAW 19283 SPEED ZONES BYLAW Amendment No. 69 Edmonton City Council enacts: 1. Bylaw 6894, Speed Zones Bylaw, is amended by this bylaw. 2. Section 5.1 is added following section 5. 50 KM/H ZONES 5.1 The maximum speed limit for the highways or portions of highways described in Schedule C.1 is 50 kilometres per hour. 3. Section 5 is deleted. 4. Schedule C.1 - 50 KM/H MAXIMUM SPEED LIMIT is added following Schedule C - 40 KM/H MAXIMUM SPEED LIMIT. 5. SCHEDULE C - 40 KM/H MAXIMUM SPEED LIMIT is deleted. 6. This Bylaw 19283 is not effective until the standard speed limit in section 4 of Charter Bylaw 19282 40 KM/H Default Residential Speed Bylaw becomes effective.
