Amazon Prime Video Greenlights Anthology Horror Series LORE October 7, 2016 Based on the award-winning, critically acclaimed podcast From executive producers Gale Anne Hurd (The Walking Dead), Ben Silverman (The Office) and Howard T. Based on the popular podcast of the same name, which has over 2.5 million monthly listens, the unscripted horror anthology series will present tales dealing with frightening, psychologically disturbing, and often paranormal true events that have spawned modern-day nightmares.The 10-episode season will premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video in the UK, US, Germany, Austria and Japan in 2017. LORE combines narration, historical mixed media and dramatic scenes to bring to life terrifying but true stories. Celebrating the origins of the horror genre, LORE explores the real-life stories behind pop culture’s most legendary horror characters and myths, such as vampires, zombies, werewolves, ghosts, serial killers and witches. Ferrera will serve as executive producer of "Pedro & Maria," a multicultural, interactive telenovela in development for MTV television and various Web platforms. The project was announced Monday by MTV and Electus, the multimedia studio created by the prolific producer and former NBC executive Ben Silverman. "Pedro & Maria" is billed as a bilingual, modern- day version of "Romeo & Juliet" that will give its audience the ability to vote on the direction the characters and story lines take.
