Description Easily grown in average, medium, well-drained soil in part shade to full shade. Prefers moist, humusy, acidic soils in full shade. Spreads slowly by creeping, branching rhizomes to form large colonies over time.

Planting & Care Fertile and sterile fronds look the same in all Adiantum species. Spores are formed, particularly in older plants, along the edges of the fronds. The spore clusters are concealed beneath the curled-over edges of the leaves until they are mature.

Care:
