The plan builds on the excellent work that we have been doing throughout LTP2 and it addresses the guidance given by the Department for Transport (DfT). The Council supports the national transport goals and the economic growth strategy being pursued across the Tees Valley and the North. The plan reflects these priorities and shows how transport can help to deliver the wider objectives of the community plan, Our Plan, as part of a suite of plans and strategies aimed to improve life for our residents, businesses and visitors.
