Kegiatan Seminar Nasional Agroteknologi dimaksudkan untuk mengeksplorasi informasi terkini hasil penelitian yang berkaitan dengan bioteknologi dan implementasinya di bidang pertanian untuk kedaulatan pangan yang didasarkan pada era industri 4.0, sehingga dihasilkan produk pertanian yang efektif dan efisien tapi dapat menghasilkan produk yang optimal melalui pengembangan bioteknologi di bidang pertanian. Tujuan diadakannya Seminar Nasional Agroteknologi ini yaitu 1) sebagai wahana dialog interaktif beberapa komunitas yang menekuni bidang pertanian, 2) mengkomunikasikan dan mendiskusikan hasil penelitian bioteknologi bidang pertanian, sehingga ke depan dapat dihasilkan produk pertanian yang berdaya saing tinggi dan berkualitas, 3) menyebarluaskan hasil penelitian dan pengetahuan tentang bioteknologi di bidang pertanian, 4) terjalinnya jaringan informasi lintas sektoral (praktisi, akademisi, pengusaha dan pemerhati) dalam mewujudkan produk pertanian yang meningkat dan berkualitas. Seminar ini diikuti oleh segenap anggota profesi PFI, PERIPI, HITI, peneliti litbang dan dinas/instansi terkait, dosen, praktisi, pemangku kebijakan, LSM, mahasiswa (S1/S2/S3), pemerhati, peneliti, guru biologi dan masyarakat umum untuk berpartisipasi aktif sebagai peserta atau sebagai pemakalah pada sidang pleno maupun sidang paralel. Cyanobacteria berpotensi memberikan alternatif penggunaan pupuk kimia yang lebih ramah lingkungan karena kemampuan bertahan hidup dan daya adaptasi yang lebih baik dari kelompok bakteri lain sehingga lebih berpotensi dikembangkan sebagai agens biokontrol. Penelitian sebelumnya telah diseleksi dan diidentifikasi isolat cyanobacteria indigenos cabai yang mampu meningkatkan pertumbuhan cabai dan mengendalikan R. syzygii subsp. indonesiensis . Isolat tersebut yaitu CYYR 3.1.3, CYYR 5.1, CYYR 9.1.3, CYYR 3.2, CYYR 44, CYYR 4.2, CYB 9.4 dan CYYR 2.3.1. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakter isolat cyanobacteria untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil cabai serta mengendalikan R. syzigii subsp. indonesiensis . Karakter yang diamati yaitu uji hemolysin, toleransi garam, pertumbuhan pada suhu 4 dan 44 oC, kemampuan menghasilkan IAA, pelarut fosfat, produksi NH3, kemampuan menghasilkan antibiotic, kolonisasi rizosfir, produksi HCN, dan produksi siderofor. Hasil penelitian Seluruh strain yang diuji menunjukkan aktivitas hemolisin negatif yang mengindikasikan bahwa isolat tersebut bersifat non-patogen pada manusia. Seluruh isolat menunjukkan toleransi NaCl sampai 4%, sebagian isolat memiliki toleransi sampai 6%. Isolat CYYR 3.1.3, CYYR 44, CYYR 4.2, CYB 9.4 dan CYYR 2.3.1. mampu hidup pada suhu 4 dan 44 oC, CYYR 5.1, CYYR 3.2, mampu hidup pada suhu 4 oC, sedangkan isolat lain tidak dapat bertahan pada suhu 4 dan 44 oC. Seluruh isolate mampu menghasilkan IAA dan mengkolonisasi rizosfir, isolat CYYR 3.1.3, CYYR 5.1, CYYR 9.1.3 mampu melarutkan fosfat, seluruh isolate tidak mampu memproduksi NH3. Isolat CYYR 3.1.3, CYYR 44, CYYR 4.2 dan CYYR 2.3.1 mampu menghasilkan antibiotik. Seluruh isolate tidak mampu menghasilkan HCN dan siderofor. In this paper we present a new phylogeny, based on increased taxonomic sampling and data from six molecular markers (mitochondrial 16S and COI, and nuclear markers 28S, RPS23, CAD, and AM2), the latter used for the first time in phylogenetic reconstruction. Our intent is to provide a robust phylogeny that will stabilize and facilitate revision of the higher-level classification. We also show the continued utility of molecular motifs, especially the presence of an intron in the RPS23 fragments of certain taxa, to diagnose evaniid clades and assist with taxonomic classification.

    AMERICAN MUSEUM NOVITATES Number 3871, 28 pp. January 27, 2017 New Evanioid Wasps from the Cenomanian of Myanmar (Hymenoptera: Othniodellithidae, Aulacidae), with a Summary of Family-Group Names among Evanioidea MICHAEL S. ENGEL1 ABSTRACT Three new evanioid wasps (Euhymenoptera: Evanioidea) are described and figured from individuals preserved in mid-Cretaceous (earliest Cenomanian) amber from northern Myan- mar. The new species represent the families Othniodellithidae and Aulacidae, both previously recorded from Burmese amber. Xenodellitha preta, new genus and species, is the second oth- niodellithid wasp and the diagnosis of the family is slightly emended in order to accommodate this species. The subfamily Hyptiogastritinae (Aulacidae) is expanded to include Protofoenus Cockerell and a third genus from Burmese amber. Archeofoenus tartaricus, new genus and spe- cies, is the third known species of the extinct aulacid subfamily Hyptiogastritinae, differing from Hyptiogastrites electrinus Cockerell in the low position of the discal cell and the open subdiscal cell in the forewing, and from Protofoenus swinhoei Cockerell in the form of the head and mandible, coloration, and forewing venational details. Together, Archeofoenus and Proto- foenus are placed in Archeofoenini, new tribe. The last species is similar to the genus Electro- foenus Cockerell, and together they are classified in Electrofoenini among the Aulacidae. Electrofoenops diminuta, new genus and species, is distinguished from Electrofoenus on the basis of wing venation. Introduction Aulacidae comprises 242 extant species belonging to two genera (TURRISI et al. 2009 and subsequent additions, e.g., TURRISI 2013; TURRISI and MADL 2013; WA T ANABE et al. 2013), Aulacus Jurine, 1807, with 76 species and Pristaulacus Kieffer, 1900 (including the former Panaulix Benoit, 1984), with 166 species. We examined material from eight islands with or without invasion of the introduced lizard Anolis carolinensis (Voigt 1832) (green anoles): two species of Pristaulacus Kieffer 1900, P. boninensis Konishi, 1989, and P. anijimensis sp. nov., are recognized. The former species is widely distributed in the islands, whereas the latter species is found from a single island only, Anijima Island. Although this island appears to be currently well preserved, the recent introduction of green anoles will probably affect the conservation status of many species, including the endemic P. anijimensis sp. nov. A description of the new species, detailed drawings and descriptions of genitalia of both recognized species, an updated key to Japanese Aulacidae, and a brief discussion on the conservation aspects of Aulacidae in the Ogasawara Islands are provided.

ENT . 16 GIESSEN 2008 The Palaearctic species of Pristaulacus KIEFFER , 1900 (Hymenoptera, Aulacidae): remarks on taxonomy, systematic, and biogeography Giuseppe Fabrizio Turrisi & Giovanni Pilato Abstract: Taxonomic, systematic, and biogeography knowledge on the Palaearctic species of Pristaulacus KIEFFER 1900 is summarized. Twenty-one valid species are recognized. The most important morphological characters taken into consideration are: shape, cuticular sculpture, and pubescence of head; index length/width of antennomeres; shape, sculpture and cuticular processes of mesosoma, especially of pronotum and mesonotum; number and shape of teeth on claw; shape and sculpture of metasoma; ovipositor length compared with wing and antenna length; and colour pattern (e.g., the dark spots on fore wing, and the colour of hind tarsus). Several characters of the genital capsule of the male were proved to be very useful for species identification, e.g., the shape of the paramere, volsella, cuspis, and digitus. Based on analysis of twenty-five morphological characters, eight species groups are recognized. The critical revision of the chorological data, including many new records, introduced relevant changes of the geographical distribution pattern of most species. Twelve species are restricted to the western part of the Palaearctic Region and eight species are restricted to its eastern part; only one species, P. gibbator, has a wider distribution, including both western and eastern parts of the Palaearctics.
