Utah Jazz Team Store to Open New Location at Smith’s Marketplace in Salt Lake City Store provides additional opportunity for fans to score official merchandise SALT LAKE CITY (August 28, 2020) – To meet the growing demand for official Utah Jazz gear, the Utah Jazz Team Store will open a new location at Smith’s Marketplace at 3215 S. Valley Street in Salt Lake City tomorrow, Saturday, Aug. 29. The store will be open seven days a week from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. The new 1,430-square-foot Jazz Team Store will be located just inside the Smith’s Marketplace main entry and will offer a unique Jazz shopping experience, complete with floor-to-ceiling Jazz branding and life-size renderings of Jazz players Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell. Fans will have a selection of Jazz items from brands including New Era, Stance and more. Jazz ticket holders will also be able to use Jazz Notes, the team’s virtual currency, at the new store. “Our newest location provides another opportunity for fans to connect with the hometown team outside of the Jazz Team Store at Vivint Arena,” said John Kimball, president of Vivint Arena. “Our partnership with Smith’s is a perfect match because it allows the Jazz Team Store to extend its footprint while demand is increasing for merchandise and excitement is growing around the team’s playoff run.” “Smith’s has been a long time sponsor of the Utah Jazz and we are excited to share our support and enthusiasm for the team with our customers who can now conveniently purchase Utah Jazz merchandise in our Smith’s Marketplace store,” said Aubriana Martindale, Smith’s Corporate Affairs Manager. Employees and guests at Smith’s Marketplace and the Jazz Team Store are required to wear face coverings and practice social distancing.
