Jazz Fans to Wear Navy, Gold, Green Shirts Vivint Smart Home Arena to host home playoff games on May 6, 8 SALT LAKE CITY (May 1, 2017) – After white-out conditions for the 2017 NBA Playoffs First Round at Vivint Smart Home Arena, Utah Jazz fans will be dressed in the team colors of navy, gold and green for the Western Conference Semifinals. The first two home games are set for 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 6 and 7 p.m. on Monday, May 8 against the Golden State Warriors. The tri-colored “Take Note” T-shirts, presented by Zions Bank and Key Bank respectively, will be placed on each chair at the 19,911-seat facility for fans to wear for the first two home playoff games. Related to the design of the tri- colored basketball at midcourt, each section in the lower and upper bowls of Vivint Smart Home Arena will have navy, gold or green T-shirts. The game-night atmosphere will also include sign-making stations and face painters on the concourse, special entertainment and the unfurling of a massive 101-foot wide by 65-foot high banner in the pre-game. “The Utah Jazz greatly appreciate the support of one of the most passionate and knowledgeable fan bases in all of sports,” said Steve Starks, president of the Utah Jazz. “The fans give us an edge with the homecourt advantage and our players thrive on the energy and playoff fever in the arena.” Single-game tickets for the first two Jazz home games of the Western Conference Semifinals on May 6 and May 8 are on sale now. Tickets start as low as $59 and are available at utahjazz.com, with no online fees. Tickets may also be purchased at the Vivint Smart Home Arena box office (located on 100 South across the street from the John Stockton and Karl Malone statues), any Smith’s Tix outlet or by phone at (801) 355-SEAT. The Jazz and Warriors will be meeting for the fourth time in a playoff series, with Utah winning the most recent matchup (4-1) in the 2007 Western Conference Semifinals. The other two meetings came in the first round of the 1987 and 1989 playoffs.
