carly pearce full album free download invited to join the Grand Ole Opry by Dolly Parton. Carly Pearce has been invited to become an official member of the Grand Ole Opry by Country icon Dolly Parton. Pearce was surprised by Dolly while filming what she thought was a video about Dollywood, where she worked as a teenager. The public announcement was then made during Pearce’s Opry appearance last week. She will be officially inducted as a member on Tuesday 3rd August 2021. After the Dolly invitation video played for the packed Opry House the crowd stood in applause as Pearce expressed, “Truly this is the most precious place and the most precious family I could ever be a part of. I’ve experienced so many wonderful things in my career so far, but this takes the cake!” “Dolly is not only one of America’s greatest living songwriters, vocalists, entertainers and superstars,” the Kentucky songstress gushed. “She represents all of the values country music holds for me. She has the grace of a woman in full, a heart that is all love, the grit to get it done, the courage to stand up for herself and just enough glitter to be everyone’s fairy godsister…” “And the Opry? It’s been the greatest love of my life since I was a young girl listening with my grandparents. All of the greatest writers, legends and pioneers have been on that stage, and I feel them in my bones anytime I walk in the stage door… To actually be asked to join the Opry family, there are no words.” “When one of ours has a special moment, it’s an honor to be part of that,” Parton explained. “Carly is a real songwriter and bright heart – and I loved getting to ask her to do something so very special.” Pearce has played the Grand Ole Opry 85 times. She won the 2021 ACM Awards Single and Music Event, plus the 2020 CMA Awards Musical Event for ‘I Hope You’re Happy Now’ recorded with Lee Brice and co-written with Luke Combs. “Carly Pearce and the Opry have enjoyed a most special relationship since even before she made her Opry debut,” said Opry Executive Producer Dan Rogers. “We’ve loved every minute of watching her star grow over the past few years and are thankful she reveres the Opry after more than 80 appearances even more than she did on her first night with us. Every night she plays the Opry, I try to make my way back to her to thank her for taking the time to visit us. Every single time she replies, ‘It’s my favorite place to be.’ Here’s to the Opry being Carly’s favorite place to be for the rest of what will no doubt be a long, successful career.” Carly pearce full album free download. Carly Pearce 's self-titled sophomore album is just days away from being released. The project, due out on Friday (February 14), takes vulnerability to another level, giving fans a look inside the country singer's life. “I feel like you see me on stage and you see me on social media but you don’t really know what’s been going on with me,” Pearce explained to her record label . “And I feel like when I hand this record to somebody or they get to hear it for the first time, here you go. It is raw and real and honestly, some of it is, I think, more raw and real than anything I’ve put out, ever.” Ahead of the release of the full project, Pearce has already shared six new songs including "You Kissed Me First, " "Closer To Me," "Call Me," "It Won't Always Be Like This," "Heart's Going Out Of Its Mind," and her duet with Lee Brice , "I Hope You're Happy Now." Pearce says through these songs she hopes "fans that know me kind of can hear more of my story and more than just the girl that sang at Dollywood or whatever. And I hope that fans that maybe are just discovering me hear just like I’m more sure of herself girl.” The new record will include a total of 13 new songs including a special duet with her husband Michael Ray called "Finish Your Sentences." Other popular country artists like Luke Combs , Kelsea Ballerini , Thomas Rhett and more are writers on the project. “I feel like so much has happened in my life, both professionally and personally through this process of making this record, that I felt falling in love and going through the experiences that I’ve gone through and seeing how country music fans have opened their arms to me, I wanted to show that that has given me the confidence, more than ever, to be exactly who I am," Pearce says. "And I feel like this is a reflection and a body of work of that confident woman for the first time. And so I really just wanted it to stand alone with my name.” Carly Pearce is due out on Valentine's Day this Friday, February 14. Carly Pearce Shares The Story Behind Her New Song, 'Should've Known Better' Shortly after announcing her upcoming album, 29 , Carly Pearce released one of the project's new songs, "Should've Known Better." The track finds Pearce reflecting on heartbreak and the lessons she has learned from the painful experience. "I gave you my heart, you let it go to waste / You made me do the leaving and you made me take the blame," she sings in the chorus. "Does it make you feel good to make me feel bad? / Yeah, you should’ve known better, should’ve known better. " On Monday (February 8), the country singer turned to Instagram to share more insight on the powerful track and share some of the inspiration behind it. "'Should've Known Better,' is kind of to me, as an adult, something that you probably wrestle with more of trying to not assign too much blame to yourself and also calling it is what it is," Pearce says in the black-and-white clip. "I wanted to take both sides of it and show that a lot of times there are things that you overlook and there are things that maybe you, in the end, know that you should've known." She continued on to explain how this song represents "the end of that" and that from now on, she hopes to pay more attention. She adds, "I think as you grow and go through life and you go through all different kinds of relationships, you learn that and you figure that out and hopefully you're better for the next."
