Mizoram Airports: Aizawl A) Quarantine and Covid-19 Testing Mizoram Airports: Aizawl a) Quarantine and Covid-19 Testing Guidelines: • All passengers arriving at Lengpui Airport shall undergo mandatory screening for Covid-19 symptoms and Rapid Antibody Test, or prescribed by the State government from time to time • All passengers arriving at the Lengpui Airport from areas declared as Red Zones by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt of India shall undergo Rt- PCR test after arrival at their respective quarantine locations, in addition to the Rapid Antibody Test done at Lengpui Airport • All passenger shall undergo mandatory quarantine for 14 days as assigned by respective Deputy Commissioners • All persons arriving by flight at Lengpui Airport shall proceed to their respective quarantine facilities via their designated arrival/transit points as applicable, only by means of transportation arranged by the Deputy Commissioners concerned • Until further orders, persons other than the permanent residents of Mizoram and all Government Servants stranded outside the state, shall obtain prior permission of Home Department ,Govt of Mizoram before booking their flight tickets for Lengpui Airport • All passengers arriving at Lengpui Airport shall abide by the SOPs prescribed by the Govt of Mizoram, as well as the guidelines published by the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt of India vied Order No AV29017/5/2020DT dated 21.05.2020 b) Air Travel Guidelines: • All passengers shall intimate their flight and ticket details to the resident representative of the Govt of Mizoram (Resident Commissioner, New Delhi/Jt. Resident Commissioner, Kolkata/Dy. Resident Commissioner, Guwahati/Shilong / Silchar) located in the station where they are currently stranded • In State/ Cities where a resident representative (Mizoram House) is not located, such details may be reported through the nearest Mizo Welfare Association. Any person furnishing false information or found to conceal information shall be liable to be penalized • No person shall board any flight bound for Lengpui Airport without obtaining prior permission from Home Department, Govt of Mizoram, and any person arriving at Lengpui Airport without Movement permit shall not be allowed to leave the airport • The list of passengers shall be sent to the Chairman, Task Group on Migrant Workers and Standard Travelers who shall submit a compile list for every flight, destination district wise to Home Department by 2 p.m. of the day prior to the date of departure of the flight for approval • As per the pre departure guidelines issued by MoCA, all passengers shall certify the status of their health through Aarogya Setu mobile app or through a self- declaration form • During boarding and travel, all passengers shall use face covers/mask. Carrying capacity is a concept that has been extensively applied in tourism and leisure studies since the 1960s, but its appearance can be date back to the 1930s. It may be viewed as an important thought in the eventual emergence of sustainability discussion, it has become less important in recent years as sustainability and its associated concepts have come to dominate planning on the management of tourism and its impacts. But the study of carrying capacity analysis is still an important tool to know the potentiality and future impact in tourism sector. Thus, up to some extent carrying capacity analysis is important study for tourist destinations and states like Mizoram. Mizoram is a small and young state with few thousands of visitors that visit the state every year.

The notification is as follows : Consequent upon the announcement of resumption of domestic flights w.e.f 25th May, 2020 by the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India, and in view of the current COVID-19 pandemic situation, it is necessary to lay down certain guidelines and procedure to be followed by persons entering the State of Mizoram by flight through Lengpui Airport. Therefore, in the interest of public service, it is hereby ordered that all permanent residents of Mizoram and all Government servants stranded outside the State due to CoViD-19 lockdown who intend to enter Mizoram by flight through Lengpui Airport shall abide by the following rules and procedure with immediate effect and until further orders: 1) All such persons shall intimate their flight & ticket details to the resident representative of the Government of Mizoram (Resident Commissioner, New Delhi/Jt. During the study a total of 3,555 no of individuals of 189 species of birds belonging to 43 families were recorded. The family Muscicapidae represented the highest species composition with 28 species followed by family Timaliidae and of MZU campus and its adjacent area, 31 (16.4%) species are winter visitors, 15 (7.9%) species are summer visitor, and two species namely, Hooded pitta (Pitta sordid) and Forest wagtail (Dendronanthus indicus) are passer migrants. The variation calculated was 3.286 and species evenness index was 0.62. The detailed of avian fauna of campus recoded and the need of conservation actions are discussed in length. Introduction Northeastern India – a compact region made up of seven sub-national states1- has historically seen high levels of violence, stemming mostly from ethnic and separatist conflicts. It was among the first of the regions, to demonstrate, on the attainment of Independence, signs of severe political crisis in the form of nationalist movements. This has translated into a string of armed separatist movements and inter-group ethnic conflicts that have become the enduring feature of its politics. Separatist rebellions broke out first in Naga Hills district of erstwhile Assam State, to be followed by similar armed movement in the Lushai Hills district of that State. Soon secessionism overtook Assam proper and in Tripura and Manipur. Of late Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh have joined the list of States that are characterised as unstable and violent. Despite the attempts of both the state and society, many of these violent movements have continued to this day with serious implications for the welfare of citizens (Table 1). Besides separatist violence, inter-group ethnic clashes have been frequent and have taken a heavy toll of life and property.2 Ethnic violence exists alongside inter-ethnic contestations, over resources and opportunities, in which the state finds itself pulled in different directions, with little ability to provide solutions.
