Calling All Syracuse University A.S.T.P. Members!

So far as I know, the fellows who spent seven wonderful months on the Campus of Syracuse Un iversity in the Army Specialized Training Program (ASTP), in 1943-44. and then were sent to the 69th in Camp Shelby, have ne ver had a The photo above shows a view of the skyline, overlooking the Reunion. Leon Two of us, at least, will be there - Frank Reemsnyder and hosted the 1980 TD'ers Reunion, w hich featured the trip back myself (Jim KehewJ - both of whom were in the German Area to Fort Hood, Texas, and Language Program. We hope more of you who are mem bers of the Division Association will be there too. We have a lot to talk over - how tough it was going to class and doing all that homework, while the Buddies we had left in our former Units were sweating it out in combat, or on maneuvers in Tennes see, etc.! What a let-down when the Program was scrapped, not long before we were to graduate as Local Government Administrators in occupied Europe, and most of us were sent back to the Infantry! From the ivy-clad atmosphere of univer sity campus to the bugs and heat of Mississippi! If you can't make tbe Reunion - Let's hear from you. Maybe we ca n get together by mail.
