-2- Note from the Board Welcome, and thank you for attending KinkyCon XII!

KinkyCon is a grassroots, locally-focused event. Most of our presenters are from our own kinky community. Many of our vendors are folks you know, and they offer their wares at fair prices with exceptional quality, and local service. Our volunteers are from the local community, and give their time to make the Con run as smoothly as possible. They are the reason for the warm, welcoming feel throughout the weekend.

The main focus of our Con is education. Every year, we strive to provide a schedule of varied topics, skill levels, and presenters. We enjoy giving new, local presenters the opportunity to get their feet wet; they have to start somewhere! Our schedule is packed full of amazing classes, special interest groups (SIGs), and informal lounges. We hope you will attend as much as you can.

We are very excited to have the KinkyCon founder in attendance this year. As a college student, Courtney Jane started KinkyCon 9 years ago, as a single day event. She has since moved out to the west coast, but is here with us this weekend, presenting on a few topics, so don’t miss out!

We are here to make sure you have a great experience at KinkyCon. If you have any questions, concerns, or problems, please talk to one of the KinkyCon staff or board members right away. We will do everything we can to help on-the-spot.

Have fun, safe, and open yourself up to new ideas. That is the essence of a great KinkyCon experience.

-3- General Event Rules

We potentially share the hotel with other guests, children, groups, and hotel staff, all of whom deserve our respect. Our commitment to the hotel is, in essence, to make sure that no one has a reason to feel uncomfortable with our presence. We strive to build a solid, trusting relationship with the hotel, and as long as we keep to ourselves, we hope they will be happy to provide a space for us. Accordingly, here are some things you need to agree to.

You must respect hotel guests and staff by: • Wearing “Family Friendly” attire in all hallways, public, and common areas of the hotel. • Keeping conversation out of hearing range of hotel guests and staff. • Not approaching other hotel guests to ask them if they are part of our event. • Respecting others’ privacy. What is done/said/seen here, stays here. • Not giving out detailed personal information about people in attendance.

You must: • Wear your wristband and ID badge at all times when in the Con spaces, in both the hotel and conference center. • Familiarize yourself with and follow the cellphone and photography policies. • Familiarize yourself with, and follow the rules for each space.* • Follow the instructions of KinkyCon security and staff. *Rules for each space will be posted inside, near the door.

“Family Friendly” is much more conservative than “Street Legal.”

Failure to abide by these rules will result in being ejected from the Con with no refund.

Restrooms: For gender-nonconforming individuals, just walking through the door of a public restroom can be stressful, and many have experienced harassment in restrooms. We ask everyone to respect the right of others to use the restroom of their choice. We appreciate your help in ensuring that all persons have a positive experience while attending our event. It is important that we work proactively to create safer spaces for ALL people whenever and wherever we can. • If you prefer a GENDER SPECIFIC restroom, they are located in the hotel, on the first floor and lower level, near the elevator. • If you prefer an ALL-GENDER restroom, they are located in the Conference Center, behind registration.

Food policy: • There is NO outside food allowed in the Conference Center. • There are vending machines located in the hotel. • You may bring food into the hotel classrooms, but please be respectful of those around you. • To protect the privacy of all Con attendees, we respectfully request that any food deliveries be picked up in the lobby of the hotel.

We have taken steps to ensure that we have he following important resources available that will benefit our attendees, volunteers, and staff.

Security – The KinkyCon Staff and all of our volunteers are our first line of defense when it comes to security at the con. We have volunteers at every unlocked entrance to the hotel and conference center so that unwanted “guests” are not able to enter. As both a takeover and a private event, we are able to control access to the Con in a way that we never could in previous years.

Health – We have partnered with Operation Hammond to provide Medical Aid and Social Care. They will be on site all weekend providing medical services and social care. You can request their services 24 hours a day. Or, you can visit them in person at one of the First Aid Stations, located in the registration area in the Conference Center, or the Volunteer Lounge (Board Room) in the hotel. All services are 100% discreet, private, and confidential.

If you have an emergency, you can get help, 24 hours a day, by visiting Operation Hammond, or by contacting any KinkyCon volunteer, staff, or board member.

Safety – Dungeon Monitors will be on hand at both nighttime parties. AdelineKindred and RiverMei are taking the lead on this very important aspect of KinkyCon, and will be on site all weekend to manage the DM crew.

Volunteers and staff are on duty during all the hours that KinkyCon is open. If you have any kind of problem, please bring it to our attention, and we will work to gather the best resources at our disposal to help resolve the problem.

Consent is a huge topic at every public event, and at KinkyCon, we take it very seriously. We operate on an ONLY YES MEANS YES basis. If you feel that your has been violated at any time during KinkyCon, please contact someone on the KinkyCon staff, or at Operation Hammond, for the quickest response. You can also contact any volunteer and they will radio one of us to respond to your location.

If your consent is violated, verbally tell a dungeon monitor or clearly marked delegate of the event immediately. Violation of the consent policy may result in expulsion from the event. No one is exempt from the rules. -8- Consent Policy 1. No touching people or personal property without permission.

2. Treat everyone as an equal, and only engage in verbal role-play if you have permission. For example, don’t call someone “Mistress,” “slave,” or any other role-play word unless you have asked if it’s okay.

3. Negotiate the scope of your scene prior to the activities. Before the scene begins, it must be clear that the bottom has given consent to the proposed acts.

4. Each participant is responsible to make sure everyone involved has the mental and emotional ability to give informed and voluntary consent during their negotiation for the scene.

5. Anyone can withdraw consent, make a nonverbal safesign or use the universal “Red” at any time. Once consent is withdrawn, the activity must stop immediately. Partners need to share what or safesigns are being used to prevent consent violations.

6. The top is legally responsible for stopping the activities at any suggestion that the bottom has withdrawn consent. The bottom is ethically responsible for being clear and unequivocal when withdrawing consent.

7. Depending on all participants’ state of mind, we recommend that you don’t renegotiate in the middle of your scene. When a person is in subspace or otherwise not in a clear state of mind, you may not have informed consent, even though they agree in the heat of the moment.

8. If your consent is violated, verbally tell a dungeon monitor or clearly marked delegate of the event immediately. Violation of the consent policy may result in expulsion from the event. No one is exempt from the rules.

9. Disclaimer: Every reasonable effort will be made to enforce this policy, but this organization makes no representations or guarantees about its ability to do so, and all participants/attendees retain full, sole responsibility for their safety and the safety of others with whom they interact.

© NCSF (national coalition for sexual freedom) - January, 2013 -9- Friday Night Erotic Art Show We have so many talented artists in our community who rarely get to display their erotic work in a gallery atmosphere. At the KinkyCon Art Show, they have the opportunity to show off their talents. Be sure to stop by and see the amazing works that your fellow kinksters have on display, and maybe even for sale! Join us in Granite, on the second floor of the hotel (upstairs from the main lobby), from 7:00-9:00pm on Friday night, for KinkyCon’s Erotic Art Show. Friday 7:00-9:00pm in Granite

About our Artists...

Creative Arts by Gene Paul Growing up, I was quickly recognized for my creative imagination and building skills. I am an artist of many talents; from imagination and painting, to actually building a live example. I was born with a talent I chose to utilize in many forms of art, designing, and building. This all allowed me to be free and open to imagine and create. LilyLew LilyLew is a self-taught artist who received a passive art education while modeling, when she could have finished college. She paints in oils, and is currently combining technology (her cell phone) with her kink. “Painting selfies and scenes from my bedroom has been an erotic romp into figurative work. I get to top my partner again when I document this part of our life, and explore being a voyeur and exhibitionist.” She is on a mission to portray the FemDom/sub relationship in a dynamic, positive light, and just the right amount of shading. LiteRoadImages I’ve been a photographer and artist for most of my life, and started doing erotic photography over 25 years ago. I developed my love for black and white imagery with film, and for many years, printed all of my own work in my home darkroom, before transitioning to digital only recently. Each of my subjects has a different personality. I like to spend time learning about them and figuring out how to help them express themselves through my photos. It’s a creative process, so each session is different and I love that. Even more, I love seeing and hearing how thrilled the models are with the finished pieces. They make people happy. Please come and see a few of my recent favorites that will be on display in the art show. I hope you enjoy my images as much as I enjoy creating them. -10- mindfullove mindfullove has been playing and photographing kink since the late 90’s. She loves photographing real people doing the real things they love doing. Her background in documentary photography strongly influences how she photographs kink – she lets people do their thing, and happens to be there to capture the moment. Miss Lilith Miss Lilith is a queer sadomasochistic switch, who explores her relationship with body positivity and queer women through her ink and watercolor drawings. Her kinky interests include CBT, impact play, , public humiliation, degradation, and chastity. Find her work on Instagram @_Miss_Lilith_. pqwinny pqwinny’s long-standing interest in the interplay of light and shadow, positive and negative space, and the inviting curves of the female landscape, are what inspired the works in this show. She happily resides in the woods of central New Hampshire with her Master, Carl, and their pup, Shadow McFluffbucket. Other art interests include photography, stained glass, and fiber arts, and her tapestry art has recently been accepted at Valley Artisans in Epsom, NH. RopeRider RopeRider has always been a curious person. In particular, he’s always been deeply curious about the pulse of erotic energy that runs through our lives. Through the camera, RopeRider guides and bears witness to eros: his, and that of the people he photographs. His work is the evidence of our curiosity and desire. It’s either that, or he’s just a voyeur who got lucky enough to find an artistic outlet. Smokey My paintings are usually done all at once in a few hours of emotional strokes. I prefer acrylic on cardboard. I can’t paint when I try, but when it flows, I’m happy with it. If one of my paintings catches your heart in some way, please make an offer; I have always wanted to sell one. They are finally ready to live on someone else’s wall! StraightShooter30 http://sweetvisionphotography.com/portfolio Left brain engineer, right brain photographer. Helmut Newton said “Any photographer who says he’s not a voyeur is either stupid or a liar.” Photographing people and the things they do has been a lifelong passion and sometimes career. Who knew that would now be considered a fetish?! A background in photojournalism and glamour has led to a fetish photography tug-of-war. Real or fantasy. Raw and dirty, or pretty and glamorous? You decide. -11- Friday Night Ice Breaker Come join BeMyToyNH (BMT) for an evening of fun at the first KinkyCon Ice Breaker! Meeting new people can be hard, especially at a large event. Saturday 8:30-11:30pm in Rose Solarium -12- The KinkyCon Aftercare Munch Ah, KinkyCon; it’s a special kind of Con.

It’s the kind of weekend event, that when it’s 5:45pm on Sunday, and the (elated, yet exhausted) event staff says, “You don’t have to go home, but you can’t stay here!” (unless you booked Sunday night at the local hotel); you aren’t quite ready to leave the bonds you’ve created with your fellow kinksters.

Maybe you had brief hallway hellos’ with that person? Maybe you were unable to catch up with that beautiful spirit? Did you go through the whole weekend, and not see that special someone?

KinkyCon has created one last chance to connect, before heading home!

This year, KinkyCon is pleased to announce: The KinkyCon Aftercare Munch! Hosted by MzInsatiable Sunday 6:00pm–9:00pm at the Backyard Brewery

KinkyCon invites you to socialize and decompress a bit, after the epic weekend in exploration of BDSM, polyamory, gender identity, and alternative sexuality.

The KinkyCon Aftercare Munch is open exclusively to KinkyCon attendees: please keep your wristbands intact for admittance.

Please continue to reflect the agreements you’ve made for the Con. There will be a couple surprises, and lots of good vibes.

Hugging, storytelling, and positive energy exchange is encouraged, yet not mandatory.

Eat, drink, and be merry; for tomorrow we die. (Well, we may not die, but Con Drop is a real thing!) Let’s strengthen our support system, before we go back to vanilla life!

Please RSVP, and keep your RSVP up-to-date, as this will allow the hosts to plan efficiently: https://fetlife.com/events/712267.

Note that this event is outside of the con spaces, and as such, the dress code is family friendly.

A FISTful of Fun Presented by: Courtney Jane Sunday 11:45am-1:15pm - Marquis Audience: Everyone - Track: Other - Class Type: Demonstration Have you ever wanted to connect with your partner on such a level that you feel a need to use your hands over any other appendage? Join Courtney Jane for a discussion and demo that covers safety, negotiation, technique, and energetic exchange for fisting. This class is for all levels and anyone interested in both topping and bottoming. A live and genuine fisting scene will be provided at the start of the class, so don’t be late! Be prepared for the emotional roller coaster as we dive fists first into the mind and body of deep surrender. Fair warning, there will be orgasms, and maybe even some tears!

A Whirlwind Tour of Impact Play Presented by: Orion Saturday 10:45am-12:45pm - Crown Court Audience: Everyone - Track: Impact - Class Type: Hands On Orion’s Whirlwind Tour of Impact Play is your chance to explore, discuss, experiment, and practice technique (or receive impact) across a sample of devilish implements in a controlled, educational environment. This is a guided tour of things which go SPANK, SWAT, CRAAACK, WHAM, THUD, SWISH, and WHAP. We will cover at least 4 of the following (class vote): spanking/hand impact, paddles, crops, floggers, canes and rods, dragon’s tails, and devilish rattan implements. Participants will learn construction and wielding techniques, vocabulary, and safety. Supervised practice (giving and/or receiving) will cover at least 50% of our time. Everyone can work with something new, and there will be implements available for practice. Bring to class: Please wear clothing you are comfortable in - from mild to wild - with options for layering on or off. DEFINITELY BRING yoga mats, blankets and extra padding. Toys and/or blindfolds are great as well.

Advanced Bottoming: Foundation and Growth Presented by: Natalie Prioness Sunday 10:00-11:30am - Granite Audience: Intermediate - Track: Other - Class Type: Lecture As timid new bottoms, we learn to lay down and get hit. As we grow, we learn skills that help us to identify the good tops, what we need to do stay safe, and how to negotiate. Essentially, we learn how to get to the ‘lie down’ part faster and more efficiently. Those skills are crucial for getting past the frenzy that new bottoms experience, but they are essentially a baseline that all bottoms need. In this class, we -34- will explore what it takes to step up your game from gleeful target to masterful bottom. So come learn what it takes to bring your bottoming from competent to exemplary.

Advanced Violet Wand Play Presented by: Anne Sunday 2:30-4:00pm - Woodside Audience: Advanced Beginner - Track: Other - Class Type: Demonstration Advanced Violet Wand class may include the following topics: a brief overview of the safety necessary for the violet wand, using the violet wand along with conductive rope and shibari techniques, which provides a way to bring predicament bondage into the play, use of the violet wand for temporary branding, and a discussion of violet wand fire play. Fire play with violet wands is an interesting way to bring fire play into venues where traditional fire play is not allowed. Fire play with the violet wand can be both relaxing and sadistic. The advanced class also covers skin care and after care for that type of play. Bring to class: An open mind and questions.

Anticipatory Service Presented by: girl_flitter Saturday 3:15-4:45pm - Woodside Audience: Everyone - Track: Interpersonal - Class Type: Discussion In this class, we will discover how to give service to any Dom to make them feel like they are #1. We will talk about receiving service from the submissive to make them melt with infatuation for the Dom. Come and learn about anticipatory service, and take your relationships to the next level. We will have a discussion on coffee/tea service, cigar service, cooking/table service, as well as community/ service. At the end of the class, you will have a better understanding of what services you want to explore, how to give and receive service, and have a better understanding of Anticipatory Service.

The Art of the Hishi Presented by: Susuwatari and LadyLyonene Sunday 10:00-11:30am - Camelot Court Audience: Everyone - Track: Rope - Class Type: Hands On This class is a hands on lesson in the art of the Hishi, also known as the Diamond Pattern. Designed for beginners and intermediate level students, we will teach basic diamond patterns from chest harnesses to full body harnesses, from decorative ties to suspension-ready ties, and even self-tying harnesses. While there is no prerequisite for this class, knowledge of any single column tie would be helpful. Bring to class: Rope, safety shears, what students need to be comfortable tying with. -35- Body Impact-the Basic, the Complex, and the Cheats Presented by: Sara Scalper Saturday 5:00-6:30pm - Granite Audience: Everyone - Track: Impact - Class Type: Demonstration Although toys can be really fun to use during impact scenes, nothing is quite as effective at causing pain as using your built-in tools, i.e. parts of your body! Sara Scalper will show you a variety of techniques that will have your bottom squirming in pain even though you are only using your body and your imagination. You will learn which parts of the body are safe to hit, what the risks are for hitting each, and how to hit them properly. Sara will show topping techniques done with hands, elbows, knees, feet, and a few other body parts that might surprise you, as well as “cheats” that will help you incorporate a few toys into your rough body play scenes. This class will make you think of “body language” in a completely different way!

Body Positive Kinbaku Presented by: Susuwatari and LadyLyonene Saturday 1:30-3:00pm - Camelot Court Audience: Everyone - Track: Rope - Class Type: Hands On This class takes traditional ties and teaches safe accommodations that can be used for all body types (hyper flexible, no flexibility, bigger bodies, disability, etc). Accommodations/adjustments needed for suspensions will be addressed, but not demonstrated. Bring to class: Rope, safety shears, what students need to be comfortable tying with

Bottoming for the Violet Wand Presented by: AJ Renard Saturday 9:00-10:30am - Granite Audience: Everyone - Track: Other - Class Type: Hands On Bottoming for the Violet Wand is a class focused on skills for violet wand bottoms, or those interested in bottoming for electrical play. We will discuss safety, how to vet and assess wand tops’ skills and knowledge, how to negotiate the type of play and experience you want, the after-effects of a wand scene, and more! This class also provides a hands-on opportunity to experience a variety of different sensations from the wand, allowing both new and experienced bottoms a chance to try different types of electrodes and toys. While the class is geared towards bottoms of all skill levels, tops are welcome, particularly if they want to gain more knowledge about how to effectively and safely introduce new bottoms to the violet wand.

Breaking Down the Hip Harness Presented by: Susuwatari and LadyLyonene Saturday 10:45am-12:15pm - Camelot Court Audience: Beginner - Track: Rope - Class Type: Hands On -36- (Prerequisite: Knowledge of a single column tie.) This class will help students understand the mechanics behind, and purposes of each part of a hip harness. From the first single column to the last lock off, each step of a basic hip harness will be broken down and explained so that students will be able to understand the whys behind the step. Students will learn Susuwatari’s hip harness as part of this class to facilitate learning. Questions on the mechanics of other harnesses and advanced techniques may be included as time allows. Bring to class: Rope, safety shears, what students need to be comfortable tying with.

Bringing Foot Play into the Bedroom Presented by: MzBugz Sunday 4:15-5:45pm - Woodside Audience: Everyone - Track: Other - Class Type: Demonstration This class will take foot play beyond the polite. The feet are amazingly talented appendages that can do wondrous things. As a female foot fetishist, I am frequently asked “What else besides massage and worship is there to do with feet?” or some variation of the question. This class is my answer. We will explore all the places the feet can go and the things they can do for you and your partner from seductive to sexual. Bring to class: A mat or towel/a partner to practice with.

Caning and Bastinado: Beat the Feet it’s Neat Presented by: Vivian Darkbloom Sunday 10:00-11:30am - Rose Solarium Audience: Everyone - Track: Impact - Class Type: Hands On In this class we explore bastinado, the practice of whipping or beating the soles of the feet, as well as some traditional and not so traditional caning. The class will feature both Domme and sub perspective on this exciting, sometimes scary, and always intimate form of impact play. A mix of lecture and demonstration, as well as hands on practice, the class will delve into the following areas: • Bastinado: History: cultural context, and modern interpretations of caning • Bondage for caning: Secure your bottom to minimize wiggle and injury • Psychological damage: Intimidation and suspense • Safe striking and a review of no-go areas • Questions and practice play time Bring to class: If you have canes, please bring them. I will have a few to borrow. If you have rope or cuffs, please feel free to bring those as well. This is not a rope class so I will gloss over the tying bit. It is not essential you know rope to benefit from this class.

-37- Consent for Polyamory Presented by: Thista Minai Saturday 1:30-3:00pm - Rose Solarium Audience: Everyone - Track: Interpersonal - Class Type: Discussion Polyamorous relationship structures come in all shapes and sizes, each one negotiated with its own allowances and ; but how do we make sure those boundaries are clear to everyone involved? Consent is a huge part of what makes our non-monogamy ethical, but what can we do to ensure that our consent is adequately informed? In this workshop, we’ll share tips and techniques for communicating your needs and making sure that everyone is on the same page, and we’ll learn how to avoid common pitfalls.

Developing your Risk Profile Presented by: brazenprofessor Saturday 5:00-6:30pm- Woodside Audience: Everyone - Track: Rope - Class Type: Discussion Rope involves risk. Both the fibers we use, and the people we tie with are imperfect. We can’t control everything that happens in a scene. But we can make informed choices about which types of risk we may be more willing, or entirely unwilling, to assume. Risk profiles are highly individual creatures: what seems reasonable to one person may not make sense for another. Class participants will work through a framework identifying the various levels of risk involved with different types of ties and suspensions. The purpose of the class is to encourage participants to develop individual profiles. Though focused on rope, those interested in impact or edge play may also find the framework to be valuable.

Down Periscope: Sounding for Cocks Presented by: Skyla and RopeRider Saturday 3:15-4:45pm - Marquis Audience: Everyone - Track: Other - Class Type: Demonstration Come watch a demo on a penis. I will be discussing the basics of selecting sounds, other items you will need for safety and added fun, where to purchase sounds, and how to properly clean and store your sounds.

Electrified CBT Presented by: Anne Saturday 6:45-7:30pm - Rose Solarium Audience: Intermediate - Track: Other - Class Type: Hands On 45 Min class deals exclusively with electrified CBT. Demo of various ties, care, and techniques. This class is an advanced class for people who are either experienced with a violet wand and want to explore it’s use as a part of CBT, OR experienced at CBT and want to explore the addition of electricity. -38- Flameless Wax Play Presented by: MzBugz Saturday 9:00-10:30am - Marquis Audience: Everyone - Track: Other - Class Type: Demonstration What do you do if you are in the dungeon or a private party space, and want to do a bit of wax play? Most of the time, nothing! Why? Due to safety and/or liability reasons, most spaces can/do not allow fire or open flame. This class and demo will focus on wax play that can be done without the use of flames. The class will cover safety, various types of wax, and if they are safe to use on the body. The class will cover equipment required, techniques that can change the way wax feels going onto the body, how it feels on the body when dried, and cleaning of the equipment. Lastly, safe wax removal, sensual wax removal, and sadistic wax removal.

Flogging From the Ground Up Presented by: Sir Vice Sunday 10:00-11:30am - Crown Court Audience: Everyone - Track: Impact - Class Type: Hands On Improve your flogging technique by learning how to use ground force and the kinetic chain. This class will teach you single and double (Florentine) flogging techniques to significantly improve endurance and force. Be prepared with practical exercises, and bring your floggers with you. Florentine Flogging Presented by: Lord Ramirez Sunday 2:30-4:00pm - Crown Court Audience: Everyone - Track: Impact - Class Type: Hands On This is an introductory class to Florentine flogging. We will be going over drills to learn basic movements and techniques with one flogger in each hand. Bring to class: a pair of matched floggers with you, or two different floggers that are close to the same size and weight.

Group Sex: Lessons Learned from a Decade of Whoredom Presented by: Courtney Jane Saturday 5:00-6:30pm - Rose Solarium Audience: Everyone - Track: Other- Class Type: Lecture Have you fantasized about experiencing sex with a few extra people thrown into the mix? The more the merrier, isn’t that the saying? Well, -39- let’s take a few steps back and go over the lessons learned from a “twue” slut who has participated in countless threesomes, orgies, and gang bangs over the last decade. Using a discussion format, we will dive into our primary hesitations around enjoying group dynamics, ways to move past our fears, and a number of tips and tricks for threesomes, orgies, and gang bangs. A partner is not necessary for this class but an open mind is required. All curiosity levels welcome.

Hojojutsu for BDSM Play Presented by: Lord Ramirez Sunday 11:45am-1:15pm - Camelot Court Audience: Everyone - Track: Rope - Class Type: Hands On In this workshop, we will apply some of the rope principles from Hojojutsu (the traditional martial art shibari is based on) for erotic fun in BDSM play. Using simple ties in resistance play as well as immobilization, and psychological play. Bring to class: Students should come prepared with a partner, as well as rope (at least four 25 or 30ft lengths) and an emergency rope cutting tool, i.e. EMT shears.

How Do You Embrace/Display “Kinky” as an Identity? Presented by: thedomlygent and harper cox Sunday 11:45am-1:15pm - Crown Court Audience: Everyone - Track: Interpersonal - Class Type: Discussion This discussion oriented class revolves around contemporary perspectives on “kink” as a marker, aspect, or core component of one’s identity. Our modest goal is to share stories, theories, and hopefully produce some conceptual insight by seeing how different people (researchers, practitioners, and members of the audience hopefully) navigate common identity dilemmas. Personally, Harper Cox navigates a problem of displaying her kinky self as an “out” sex worker and empowered sexual female/feminist while being culturally deligitimized at times for her appearance and practices, while thedomlygent struggles to embrace perverse kink in relationships and academic work while clinging to the problematic facade of straight privilege.

Hurt So Good: Sadistic Rope and Partial Suspension Presented by: Susuwatari and LadyLyonene Sunday 2:30-4:00pm - Camelot Court Audience: Intermediate - Track: Rope - Class Type: Hands On This hands on class will teach students several sadistic ties that will make a masochist very happy. This class is for intermediate level students or above, with a working knowledge of suspension uplines. With the use of pressure points, partial suspensions and rope, students will enjoy going to next level with some painful ties, interesting predicaments and lots of fun. -40- Bring to class: Rope, safety shears, what students need to be comfortable tying with.

I’m Here…Now What? Presented by: Sex Fairy Gwyn Friday 7:00-8:30pm - Rose Solarium Audience: Everyone - Track: Other - Class Type: Lecture If you are most often found at the perimeter of a party, or opting out at the last minute, you may find yourself struggling at some point during the event. Many people don’t understand that we crave the experience of being at this gathering, but don’t know how to participate fully when we often have a hard time even having simple conversations. With a few tips and some practice, we can enjoy the event as much as the extroverts do, without harming ourselves or needing our blanket forts.

Impact From the Ground Up Presented by: Sir Vice Sunday 4:15-5:45pm - Crown Court Audience: Everyone - Track: Impact - Class Type: Hands On The best toys in your toy box are free, and you have them with you all of the time. Explore the variety of options your arms, hands, and body give you in impact activities. We’ll show you some new techniques to try in your next play session that can give you more umph with less effort and exhaustion. Intimacy through Pain: S&M in Culture and the Body Presented by: brazenprofessor Sunday 4:15-5:45pm - Rose Solarium Audience: Everyone - Track: Interpersonal - Class Type: Group Activity Technical skills classes are a frequent feature of BDSM education - and an important one, to keep partners physically and emotionally safe. However, it is also important to understand how pain functions to create or block intimacy. Instead of focusing on techniques or skills (impact play, torture, rope), this class explores how pain functions as an intimate connection in an S/m scene, and how to use pain to enhance and deepen a connection with your partner. Techniques for processing pain, as well as cultural norms and values around pain will also be discussed.

Topics will include safety, negotiations, required equipment, play space setup/ breakdown, sharps disposal, and basic techniques. Negotiation 201 Presented by: Natalie Prioness Saturday 6:45-8:15pm - Woodside Audience: Intermediate - Track: Interpersonal - Class Type: Lecture Negotiation is a core skill for everyone in the scene, and it’s something we use every single time we play. When we get started with kink, we are taught the very basics of negotiation: how to establish consent and set the basic rules of a scene. The longer we play, the more we understand ourselves and our partners, giving us freedom to widen the bounds and expand the rules of our play. Once we stray outside the bounds of typical play, we find that basic negotiation skills only get us so far. They are still crucial for establishing a baseline, but they are too rigid to express the complexity of our needs and communicate the ways in which a scene flows. This class will build on your existing skills to help you create better scenes between you and your partner. Non-Monogamy 101 Presented by: Skyla Saturday 10:45am-12:15pm - Marquis Audience: Everyone - Track: Interpersonal - Class Type: Lecture Welcome to the world of non-monogamy! After we figure out some vocabulary and basics, we will focus on polyamory. Topics to include: opening a previously closed relationship, managing jealousy, relating to your partner’s partner, coming out to people/or deciding not to. -42- Personal Empowerment Roundtable Presented by: tenacioustoy Friday 8:45-10:15pm - Rose Solarium Audience: Everyone - Track: Interpersonal - Class Type: Discussion This session is a guided open discussion for anyone who would benefit from frank conversations that will empower them to operate from a place of strength, while negotiating the wild and wooly world of kink. Power Exchange with an Experience Differential Presented by: AJ Renard Sunday 11:45am-1:15pm - Rose Solarium Audience: Everyone - Track: Interpersonal - Class Type: Discussion Many Power Exchange relationships involve partners with differing levels of experience and involvement with the lifestyle. One partner may have a tremendous amount of play experience but is new to a PE dynamic, or one partner may be introducing the other to the lifestyle in general. How do you navigate these disparities while keeping the Power Exchange intact? If the s-type is the one with the larger knowledge base, how do you maintain the dynamic; if the D-type has -43- more experience, how do you keep expectations realistic and not take advantage or overwhelm the s-type? We will explore how to navigate these potential issues, how to discuss them, and ways to work around and avoid them.

Rope Bondage 101: The Basics Presented by: Bosch Saturday 9:00-10:30am - Camelot Court Audience: Everyone - Track: Rope - Class Type: Hands On Why would I want to tie someone up? How do I tie someone up? Where do I start? What kind of rope do I use? How long should it be? What are the safety concerns? What is a ‘bowline,’ and why should I learn to tie it? All of these questions and more will be explored. And along the way, we’ll learn the basics: single & double column ties, the chest harness, and a hitch or two. We will practice what we’ve learned, and discuss how to combine ties, have fun, and improvise. Bring to class: 2-3 ropes, 20-30+ feet in length.

Rope Bottoming 101 Presented by: Sex Fairy Gwyn Saturday 10:45am-12:15pm - Granite Audience: Beginner - Track: Rope - Class Type: Lecture From basic bondage to elaborate shibari, playing with rope can be beautiful and intimidating. -45- Rope Corsets Presented by: Bosch Sunday 11:45am-1:15pm - Granite Audience: Everyone - Track: Rope - Class Type: Hands On We will work on 2 or 3 different ways of tying rope to completely cover and squeeze a body. We’ll work on ways of adding structure to the rope so that it does what corsets traditionally do, i.e. squeeze in some places, support in others. We will explore the tools you need to design a number of different corsets to fit a number of different body types. Although corsets are traditionally worn around the torso, this technique can be modified for multiple parts of the body (or even two bodies if you get creative). This class does NOT require a rope bottom nor does it require experience. We will be doing most of our work tying rope around our own thighs. Your own thighs are just easier and they don’t wiggle when you tickle them (usually). Bring to class: 1-2 ropes 20-40+ feet in length (the longer, the better), and some smaller diameter rope or paracord 4-8 feet.

Presented by: soumise Saturday 10:45am-12:15pm - Rose Solarium Audience: Everyone - Track: Interpersonal - Class Type: Discussion This class will look at what service is and what it means to many in the BDSM lifestyle. When we think of service, our minds tend to go certain places on the service spectrum: domestic, administrative, -47- sexual, and waitstaff-based services all come to mind quickly, and are usually focusing on the right side of the slash. Often forgotten are the service contributions from the left side of the slash as well as looking at what drives people from both sides to want to serve. All of these areas will be covered and discussed with interactive exercises to help you learn more about your feelings towards service, and what you might be looking to receive from serving or being served.

Slow Down - Exploring the Sensuous Side of Rope Presented by: RopeRider and Skyla Sunday 4:15-5:45pm - Camelot Court Audience: Everyone - Track: Rope - Class Type: Hands On In our desire to “do rope right,” we sometimes find ourselves lured away from the hot, erotic spark that first attracted us to rope bondage. In this class, we’re going to create fun, energetic, sexy experiences that will bring us back to the real reason most of us love rope bondage: connection. We’ll tap into our bodies and brains to create a kickass cocktail of sensual goodness, and you’ll leave with body/brain techniques you can use any time you want to go deeper in your rope play. No rope experience is required for this class. All are welcome to attend this class - voyeurs are definitely welcome, but this is a hands- on, interactive class, so partnered people will probably get more out of it. -48- Submissive Self-Care: How to Ask for What You Want Presented by: Sex Fairy Gwyn Sunday 2:30-4:00pm - Rose Solarium Audience: Everyone - Track: Interpersonal - Class Type: Lecture When we are subbie by nature, we tend to want to gratify our Dom/ Top so much that we often forget to take ourselves into account. Add to that the many social and cultural misconceptions about BDSM that we unintentionally internalize from a young age. Sometimes, even we believe some of the stereotypes and attitudes, without realizing they may be harmful or create personal strife. But, if we don’t care for ourselves, how can we provide our Doms with what they desire? In this workshop, we will discuss how to meet our needs and desires, as well as how to ask for them in a manner that will be sure to please even the strictest Top.

You’re a Sadist and It’s Okay Presented by: Sara Scalper Saturday 10:45am-12:15pm - Woodside Audience: Everyone - Track: Other - Class Type: Lecture Many of us have felt immense guilt when we’ve realized just how much we enjoy hurting people, but enjoying being sadistic is perfectly okay in a safe, ethical, and consensual context, and being able to be sadistic doesn’t mean you must be cold or lack empathy. Discuss some of the difficulties you have had when embracing your sadistic tendencies, as well as engage in an exploration of why these difficult feelings occur. Explore misconceptions regarding sadism and where -49- they come from, as well as different types of ethical sadism/sadist archetypes. Ceremony of the Roses Collaring Hosted by: Kinky Minister Saturday 12:20-1:20pm - Marquis One of the most popular collaring ceremonies is the Ceremony of the Roses. The Ceremony of The Roses is ancient, with a rich and wondrous history, full of fabulous symbolism and ritual. Individuals both within the BDSM realm, and those from without have performed this ceremony. I, Lady Deborah, have chosen this ceremony as a tribute to the devotion afforded to me by the individuals I am about to consider for collar and accept as my representation. There comes a time in the life of all, that they feel incomplete, that there is something missing in their lives. Then someone comes into their world and fills the void, someone that has felt the same emptiness, someone that understands. Ti_fanny - Volunteer Coordinator (Pronounced TIE-fan-EE) has lived in New Hampshire all her life and was introduced into the community in 2010. She has also participated as a demo bottom at multiple events for classes in wax play, fisting, suspension, and squirting. -53- About the Board Dejantu - Board of Directors Dejantu has been in the kink scene since the early 90’s, and has always enjoyed power exchange dynamics. Over 7 years ago, he met PinkBikerGirl, and together they became active in the local New Hampshire kink scene. He found a love of rope bondage, Kinbaku, and went to nearly every event around to learn as much as he could about the art form. He has helped run rope lounges at the Fetish Flea events, mentored at local area rope groups, and started the Manchester Rope Group. He and PinkBikerGirl, along with a few other leaders in the New Hampshire area, started the MARK group and run nearly 50 events a year, including multiple munches and many diverse events (both kink and vanilla) with kinky people. In 2014, he became a board member for KinkyCon, and loves being part of a great event that provides quality kink education from lifestyle experts. He enjoys discussing, teaching, mentoring, and participating in BDSM and D/s activities.

Domino - Board of Directors Domino’s KinkyCon roots go back to the very beginning of the event, when he responded to a post on FetLife from a student at UNH who had an idea for a conference but needed some help. Eventually, Courtney Jane left for the West Coast, and Domino became one of the board of directors that would keep KinkyCon true to its original vision moving forward. Domino has pursued his interests in the BDSM lifestyle for more than three decades, and is the creator and host of The Bullwhip Lounge, a day long whip extravaganza at NELA’s Fetish Fair Fleamarket. Domino has presented at many local and national events including KinkyCon, Black Rose, The Floating World, Brimstone, and Leather Reign. Domino’s passions for community building, education, and creating a safe space for all to participate, continue to play a major role in the creation of every KinkyCon.

PinkBikerGirl - Board of Directors Cindy has been interested in kink for almost ten years. She ventured into the public scene in 2012, and together with Dejantu, they started the MARK group. Along with a couple of other group leaders, they have hosted over 200 events since then! Cindy’s strengths lie in organizing and planning, so in 2014, she added KinkyCon Board Member to her kink resume. Originally brought on to create the program, she has since taken on other roles, such as presenter liaison, and organizer extraordinaire. It is unlikely there is any aspect of your KinkyCon experience that has not been touched by her extreme attention to detail. -54- About Our Sponsor NELA NELA (New England Leather Alliance) is an organization dedicated to making a safe place in the world for all leather/fetish/sm people through education, advocacy, and charitable giving.
