TRENT TUCKER

Trent Tucker started his career in 1982 playing for the NY Knicks for 9 seasons and his final season with the earning a Championship Title in 1993. Known as one of the premier 3- shooters in the history of the NBA, Trent holds the “Bulls” record for most 3-pointers scored in one game and ranks fifth in most 3-pointers in one game. Since retiring from the NBA in 1993, Trent became a “broadcast analyst” for the Timberwolves for five years and currently, he is heard on KFAN, Radio. Trent has been very active in the Minnesota communities for over 20 years. His camp (named after him) had its 26th annual camp session this past year in Minneapolis and in 1998, formed his nonprofit foundation now called the All 4 Kids Foundation. In 2001, Trent started The Trent Tucker University Scholars Program at the University of Minnesota and is now branching out to other universities this fall 2013. www.all4kidsfoundation.org

The Trent Tucker University Scholars Program was created to provide at-risk youth with the tools necessary to develop academically, mentally and socially through tutoring and mentoring programs. Many of these students not only have graduated from high school, but also attend private and public colleges throughout the country. In May 2012, the first class of Trent Tucker University Scholars graduated from their respective universities. The All 4 Kids Foundation is a 501(c)(3) committed to educating at-risk youth academically, personally, socially and physically through a curriculum that expands their horizons and encourages them to participate in new areas of learning. The mission includes striving to develop the whole students mind so that they have the tools to make decisions that are intellectual, moral and ethical.

The Trent Tucker Celebrity Golf & Gala has brought out stars to raise money for at-risk youth. Supporters of this event includes: , , , Charles Oakley, , BJ Armstrong, Kenny Lofton and Kris Humphries to name a few. This fundraiser raises a significant funds and awareness while providing the students of the Trent Tucker University Scholars Program the many benefits that they receive. As one of the leading philanthropists to come out of the NBA, Trent is proud to have raised millions of dollars for his foundation and others that he supports in order to raise national awareness and funds for children in need.
