Good work done by RPF/ECoR for the period from 21-02-2020 to 29-02-2020 On 20.02.2020, at 16.00 hrs OIC/GRPS TIG received a written report from a person viz. Ram Nibash Joshi, 54 yrs. S/o- Late Sambhu Dayal Joshi R/O- Ward No.11,Kantabanji,PS- Kantabanji,Dist- Balangir() that, on 18.02.2020 at about 17.30 hrs to 18.00 hrs while complainant was standing at Kantabanji ticket booking counter for purchasing of ticket in the mean time some unknown culprit stolen his REALME 5 PRO Mobile phone V/Rs. 16,999/-. In this connection GRPS/TIG Regd. a case Vide No-08/2020 dated 20.02.202 U/S-379 IPC against unknown culprit. On 20.20.2020, report upon the case officer and staff of RPF/Post/Kantabhanji along with GRPS/KBJ, in presence of complainant checked CCTV footage and suspected one person from CCTV footage/video for applying seems to be a new modus operandi with the shade of hand plastic bag committed theft of said mobile phone from shirt pocket of the complainant. In the night of 20.02.2020 the above said officers and staffs conducted night checking at Kantabanji Railway Station and could able to apprehend the same person who was identified in CCTV footage along with his associate. On searching both of them, found 02 mobile phones, (one REALME 5 PRO and other one is Micromax X142 Keypad). On interrogation, they disclosed their name and address as 1) Ajay Durbh Age-20 Yrs, S/O- Sankar Durbh,2) Prakash Netam, Age-52 Yrs, S/O- Late Somamnath Netam both are resident of village Khallari, Bhimkhoj, PS- Bhimkhoj, Dist- Mahasamund (CG). On further interrogation they stated that they have committed theft one mobile phone, Realme 5Pro at KBJ R/S at ticket booking counter(PRS) and other mobile phone, Micromax X142 at MRBL R/S two days before. Both apprehended persons were connected with the above case and produced before Hon’ble court of JMFC/KBJ for legal action. Valued of both mobiles Rs. 16,999+ Rs.2500= Total Valued Rs. 19,499/-.

On dated 20.02.2020, on the strength of the Search Warrant & as per lead of remanded accused viz. Gulam Mustafa (A-4),in connection with RPF/Post/Duvada case vide No-C3C-710/19 dtd. 10.12.2019 U/S- 143 of the Railway’s Act, IPF/R K Rao along with officer and staff of RPF/post/Duvada and SI/J K Mallick of CIB/HQr/BBS with assistance of local police Nayahat, conducted a raid and search in the travelling agency shop viz. Cyber Café & Travels @ SAMD Cyber Web, Nayahat College Square, Nayahat, GOP, Puri, Odisha. During which they arrested one tout viz. Sahajan Mohammad Age.23 yrs S/o Manga Mohammad R/o SujagarhJangal Bori, Puri, Nayahat, Odisha and seized 06 nos of IRCTC future tickets, V/Rs. 6,973.50, and 128 nos. of past journey tickets V/Rs. 1,88,369/- with other incriminating articles. During interrogation, he disclosed that he purchased the “ANMS “software key through Gulam Mustafa since one year back by paying Rs. 2,000/- per month and Rs. 1,400/- for VPS Server per month, making payment through phone pay/UPI applications. Sahajan Mohammad along with Gulam Mustafa were produced before the Hon’ble court of VIth MM Rlys, VSKP on dated 21.02.2020 and accordingly A-4 Gulam Mustafa was given for RPF custody and A-5 Sahajan Mohmmad was remanded to judicial custody up to 03.03.2020. . On dtd 20.02.2020, received information from SCNL/KUR regarding left behind of one black colour Sky bag containing, 01 Adhaar Card, 10th mark sheet, 12th mark sheet & Clothing items (Total Value, Appx.Rs.1500/-) in train no-12894 coach no-D3 seat no-55 by one bonafied passenger viz. Suryaprava Das, 20 yrs, D/o- Sanjya Kumar Das, AT- Hakimpada, Ps-Angul Town, Dist-Angul vide PNR N0.-6540426214 Ex-SBP to ANGL, who got down at ANGL. Immediately on duty Staff of RPF/Post/DNKL attended the said train at DNKL and retrieved the said bag.. Intimation was given to the owner of the bag, who attended RPF/Post/DNKL on dt.21.02.2020 and the retrieved bag with all articles handed over to her with proper acknowledgement.

On 16.02020 at about 07.15 hrs, while CT-9509 S.K.Das of RPF/Post/Puri was engaged in Security Check of empty Coaches to Prevent & detect Criminal activities at Puri Station, during which found 01 unclaimed suitcase containing one Personal Biodata file, Adhar Card, ATM Card, Original Educational Qualification Certificates from 10th to B.Tech, some Professional documents , Personal belongings i.e. 04 Banarsi Silk Saari, 01 Jeans & t-shirt and Money Purse containing[Cash Rs.2730/-, Total valued Rs.35,000/-. Immediately contact made with Simran Rabi Kadam through her visiting card and it reveals that, she along with her father Dr.Rabi Omkar Kadam, went to Patna to attend her friend’s marriage and on 13.02.2020 during return journey they boarded in train No.13201 [Patna- LTT Exp.] coach. No. S-9, Berth no.02 & 03 Ex-Patna-jalgaon,Vide PNR No.6540223771. When the train arrived at Bhusawal railway station, they found their luggage [01 suitcase]was stolen. In this regard she lodged an FIR at GRPS Bhusawal and a case vide no.176 dtd. 14.02.2020 U/S- 379 IPC was regd. against the unknown culprit. On 21.02.2020 she attended RPF/Post/Puri and the recovered bag with all articles, handed over to her with proper acknowledgement.

On 21.02.2020, at about 07.00 hours received information from RPF/Post/Vizayanagaram, regarding one bonafide passenger viz. Y.Ramesh along with his family left behind one Vanity bag, containing one black colour MI Mobile phone,.Adhar card,other small items and cash Rs.1000/- (total valued Rs.10,000/-) while travelling in train No.17482 TPTY-BSP Express, PNR No. 4103972198 in coach No. A-1, berth No. 43, 44 & 45 Ex. Gudiwada to Vizianagaram and got down at Vizayanagaram. Immediately officer and staff of RPF/PostVBL attended the train on arrival at VBL and retrieved the vanity bag. The vanity bag with all articles handed over to its owner on verification and proper acknowledgement.

On 21.02.2020, at about 21.45 hrs,RPF/Post/Balugaon received an information from RPF/Post/Brahmapur that, one bonafied passenger viz. Behara Vykuntara Rao, S/O-Mohan Rao, Vill- Narasannapeta, PS- Narasannapeta, M.D.O quarters, Narasannapeta, Srikakulam, while travelling in train No.18118, left behind his mobile phone in train, Valued Rs.8000/-Approx,. Immediately, matter was informed to train escorting party of RPF/Post/Balugaon (EX.Balugaon- Khurda Road) of train No.18118 and the said mobile phone was retriveved by train escorting party from S-6 coach and brought to RPF/Post/Balugaon. On dated. 22-02-2020, the mobile phone was handed over to its owner at RPF/Post/Balugaon, on proper verification and acknowledgement.

On 21.02.2020, T/No. 11020 (-Chatrapati Shivaji Terminal) Konark Express was escorted by H/C-71 R.K.Behera, C/330 B.Muduli & C/new S.K.Parida of RPF Post/Bhubaneswar, Ex. Bhubaneswar to Palasa. During duty, while checking the train in between Brahampur-Palasa railway station, they found one un attended pink colour vanity bag containing cash Rs. 7020/-, one mobile, ATM card- 04nos., original DL-02nos. , RC book , Departmental card (total valued Rs. 12,000/- approx) in coach No.A-1, berth No.40. Out of suspicion train escorting party asked the other passengers of the said coach, but nobody claimed it. On checking found, it belong to one Sonia Yadav Das, wife of G.K.Das of ADGM training school, Gopalpur (Indian army) and intimated to her. The train escorting party brought the recovered vanity bag to RPF/ Post/Bhubaneswar. On dated 22.02.2020, the vanity bag with all articles, handed over to its owner with proper acknowledgement.

On 21.02.2020, at about 20:10 hrs one person viz. Ananta Kusulia, age.22 yrs, S/o- Madhaba Kusulia, At- Disari Pada,PS- Bisamcuttack, Distt- Rayagada, attended RPF/Post/Muniguda and reported that, he left behind his one black colour bag, containing pant and shirt, valued Rs.1500/- in general coach of T/No- 13352 (Allepy-Dhanbad) express, while travelling from Aluva on dtd. 20-02-2020 having ticket No- UMF 64563045 and got down at Muniguda on dated. 21-02-2020. Immediately, the matter was informed to train escorting party of RPF/Post/Muniguda (Ex-Rayagada to Titlagarh) of train No.13352. Accordingly, the train escorting party retrieved the bag and brought to RPF/Post/Muniguda in their return escorting duty in train No.13351. On dated. 22-02-2020, the retrieved bag with all articles handed over to its owner on proper verification and acknowledgement. In this regard, Station Master/ Muniguda made station diary entry vide No.570 &571 dated. 22.02.2020.

On 22.02.2020, at about 15.00 hrs. while on duty RPF staff, Con-40764 S.C.Sahu & Con-New Ankur Kumar noticed, Electric short circuit at PF No.03 of Titilagarh Railway station, immediately the matter was informed to Station Manager/Titlagarh. The fire extinguisher from Station Manager office/Titlagarh, being utilized properly, which was operated by on duty RPF/Staff, viz. Con-3924 A.Barik, Con-40764 S.C.Sahu & Con-New Ankur Kumar along with Commercial staff, C & W staff , & Operating staff of Titilagarh and the fire was extinguished. Electrical staff also attended the spot and shut down the main switch. This promptness averted the major fire incident. In this regard Station Manager/Titlagarh made a station Diary, Entry No.718 dt 22-02-2020.

On 22.02.2020 at about 22.00 hrs one complainant viz Chaturbjuja Ganthia, age-32 yrs, S/O- Chhayakanta Ganthia, vill- Kishore Prasad, PS- Gania, Dist- Nayagarh, at present Flat No- 505, Sai pattnaik Apartment, Gothapatna, PS- Chandaka, Dist- Khorda, Odisha, reported at GRPS/Bhubaneswar that, On 19.02.2020 at about 15.30 while he filling the form to post a letter at RMS office at Bhubaneswar Rly station his OPPO mobile phone valued Rs. 10000/- committed theft by some unknown person inside the RMS office. There after he searched his mobile phone but could not trace out. Basing upon the FIR, GRPS/Bhubaneswar regd. case No- 38/2020 dtd- 22.02.2020 U/S-380 IPC. Report upon the case, STF/ Team/Bhubaneswar with GRPS/Bhubaneswar conducted searched at Bhubaneswar station area and at about 23.30 hrs they apprehended one person viz. Nabin Sahoo, age-32yrs, S/O- Akadadsia Sahoo, vill- Taparia, PS- Hemagiri, Dist- Sundargarh, Odisha while moving suspiciously in front of RMS office. During interrogation he admitted that he had stolen one mobile inside the RMS office and found the said stolen OPPO A-83 mobile from his possession. Hence, he was brought to GRPS/Bhubaneswar and connected with Case No-38/2020 dtd- 22.02.2020 U/S- 380 IPC.

On 09.02.2020, Officer and staff of RPF/Post/Puri conducted drive/Checking at platform area and trains, during which one unclaimed black colour American Tourist Trolley bag containing some clothes, cosmetic items etc. and one mobile number i.e 0951510310 written inside the small pocket diary from berth No. B-4(63) in train No. 12802 Express was recovered. Accordingly, made contact over that number, one lady responded and told that her name is Sushmi Monali Mohanty and she is working in IT Company, Goargaon. On 8.2.2020 she had travelled in the said train No. 12802 Purushottam Express Ex. New Delhi to Bhubaneswar in B4(63) vide No. 2407784938, but she mistakenly left behind her bag while getting down at BBS station. On 23.02.2020 she attended RPF Post/Puri at 08.30 hrs and her bag was handed over to her with proper acknowledgement after proper verification. Total valued Rs.5000/-Approx.

On 23.02.2020 at about 17.00 hrs, one complainant viz. Subhalaxmi Sahoo, age-30 yrs, D/O- Malaya Kumar Sahoo, Vill/ PS- Athagarh, Dist- Cuttack, Odisha reported at GRPS/Bhubaneswar that, while she was boarded in Train No.18304 (PURI-) Intercity Exp in general compartment at Bhubaneswar Railway Station, taking opportunity of heavy rush some unknown culprit committed theft of her purse containing, one mobile phone, Cash Rs.3550/- and other valuable items. In this connection GRPS/Bhubaneswar registered a case vide No.39/2020 dtd- 23.02.2020 U/S- 379 IPC. Further on 24.02.2020 on basis of information, officer & staff of RPF/STF/Team/Bhubaneswar with GRPS/ Bhubaneswar staff searched Bhubaneswar station area and apprehended one person viz. Surendra Pradhan, age- 50yrs, S/O- Late Manu Pradhan,Vill- Guhalpur, PS- Digapahandi, Dist- Ganjam, Odisha with recovery of the stolen purse and its articles.. During interrogation, the said person admitted his guilt for stolen of the said purse, from Intercity Exp.. In this regard, GRPS/Bhubaneswar connected him into the above case.

On 24.02.2020, at about 11.30 hrs. acting on reliable source information, regarding illegal business of procuring and supplying of Railway Tatkal/General Reservation e-tickets, Officer & staff of RPF/Post/Visakhapatnam, CIB Unit/Waltair & RPF/CIB/Rayagada jointly conducted raid and search at the shop of Durga Prasad Advertisers cum mee- seva, situated at Arilova, Down Road, Balaji nagar, Visakhapatnam. During which the team apprehended one person viz. Kaldi Durga Prasad Rao, Aged about 39 years, S/o- Sankara Rao, R/O-D.No.13-418/1,Ambedkar Nagar, Sector-2, Arilova, PS: Arilova, Dist: Visakhapatnam with recovery of 01 No. future Tatkal Railway Reservation e-ticket, 03 Nos. of future General Railway Reservation e-tickets, valued Rs.3,615/- and 06 Nos. of past Railway reservation Tatkal/General e-tickets, valued Rs.6,692/-.,one user ID and other incriminating articles total valued Rs.10,307/-approx, in this connection, RPF/Post/Visakhapatnam has registered a case vide No.C3C/617/2020, dated.24.02.2020, U/S- 143 Railway Act. The accused person will be produced in the Hon’ble court of VI MM Rly.Court/Visakhapatnam on 25.02.2020 for judicial remand.

On the basis of reliable source information, regarding supplying of child workers by train No.18401 (Puri-Okha) Express to Rajkot on 23.02.2020, Officer & staffs of RPF/Post/Puri conducted watch at . During which they detained 10 Persons, including 01 agent, out of which, 06 minor children were handed over to Child & Sishu Help Desk/puri, on 24.02.2020.The said minor children were produced before the C.W.C/Puri with the assistance of Child Line [RUSH] for their rehabilitation till handing over to their parents. Other 03 children were handed over to their parents on verification and proper acknowledgement. On leading statement of arrested agent, the above team could able to arrest the main agent from Bhubaneswar area with the help of his mobile location. In this regard, Kumbharpada PS has registered a Case vide No. 60/2020 dtd 24.02.2020, U/S 370 (3), 417/120 B/34 IPC/Sec-25 ISMW Act/ Sec-14(i) the Child Labour Prohibition and Regulation Act/Sec-2(14)(ii) JJ Act against the both agents and will be forwarded in the Hon'ble Court on 25.02.2020.

On 24.02.2020, the RPF Escort party of Train No.18410 Jagannath Exp. rescued one minor girl viz. Madhusmita Mohapatra aged-16 yrs and minor boy viz. Sandeep Kumar Swain, aged- 18 yrs ,who were left their home without knowledge of their parents to proceed Kolkata. The both rescued minor boy and girl were handed over to RPF/Post/Bhadrak. Subsequently, they handed over to their parent’s with proper acknowledgement. In this connection, SM/BHC made D.E.No-620/W & 620/W1 at Bhadrak Station.

On 23.02.2020 at about 21.30 hrs. acting on reliable source information regarding a person was waiting for train No.18477 (Puri-Haridwar),Utkal Exp. with a luggage bag containing Ganja for his onward journey towards Delhi. The Officer & staff of RPF/Post/Khurda Road and GRP/Out Post/Puri conducted raid at Khurda road railway station at PF No.03. During which they apprehended one person viz. Jitu Naik, Aged about 25 yrs., S/O- Sudarshan Naik of Vill-Hadi Sahi, PS-Balugaon, Dist-Khordha, Odisha with seized of 10 Kgs. Ganga, valued Rs.40,000/- approx. In this connection, GRPS/Khurda Road has registered a Case vide No.32/2020, U/S-20 (b)(ii)(B) NDPS Act. On dtd.25.02.2020 the arrested person will be forwarded in the Hon’ble Court.

On 24.02.2020, at about 20.55 hrs. on duty RPF Staff of Boinda Railway Station, of RPF/Out Post/Boinda recovered one mobile phone, valued Rs.13,000/-Approx. from PF.No.02 and brought to RPF/Out Post. Further,the recovered mobile phone was handed over to its owner viz. Pitamber Swain, age.29yrs. on verification and proper acknowledgement.

On 24.02.2020 at about 07.15 hrs, officer & staff of RPF/Post/Visakhapatnam, during course of round at Visakhapatnam railway station on suspicion apprehended one person viz. Pudi Srinu S/o- Suribabu, aged 24 yrs, R/O- Manoramma Theatre, Atchaiahamma peta, Visakhapatnam city with recovery of one Samsung mobile phone valued Rs. 5000/- from his possession and brought to GRPS/ Visakhapatnam. In this connection GRPS/Visakhapatnam registered a case vide No.57/2020, dated-24.02.2020,U/S-379 IPC. On further interrogation by GRPS/ Visakhapatnam, another 05nos. stolen mobile phones recovered from him.

On 25.02.2020 at about 11.15 hrs, on execution of a search warrant obtained from Honorable court of VIth MM- Visakhapatnam, regarding illegal business of Railway reservation e-tickets. Officer & staff of CIB Unit/Waltair, CIB unit/Rayagada and RPF/Post/Marripalem conducted raid and search at the shop of Sri Sai Ram Net Cafe & Travel Services, Arilova main Road, Sector-3, near Arilova police station, Visakhapatnam, during which they arrested one person viz. Pasumarthi Durga Devi,Age-36yrs,W/O- P.Phani kumar,R/O-Door.No.16-341/2, Sector-5, Arilaovacolony, PS-Arilaova, Visakhapatnam, AP with seizure of 04 Nos. of future general Rly reservation e-tickets valued Rs.2975.00 , 15 Nos. of past Tatkal/General Railway reservation e-tickets valued Rs/- 11180.00 , 03 nos. of user IDs & other incriminating articles, total valued Rs.14,155/-. The arrested person with seized articles were handed over to RPF/Post/Visakhapatnam. In this connection RPF/Post/Visakhapatnam, registered a case vide No.C3C/629/2020, dated.25.02.2020, U/S-143 Railway Act. The accused person will be produced before the hon’ble court of VI MM Rly court VSKP on 26.02.2020 for further legal action.

On 25.02.2020 officer & staff of RPF/Post/Brahmapur, SIB/Khurda, CPDS/Khurda Road and GRPS/Brahmapur conducted surprise watch at PF No.04 of Brahmapur Railway station, During which they apprehended 02 persons viz. (i) K. Ashis Kumar Patra, age-22 Yrs, S/O- K. Ananda Patra, R/O-Labar Singh, PS-Chandragiri, Dist-Gajapati, Odisha (ii) Bimal Bastia, age-20 yrs, S/O-Raj Kumar Bastia, R/O-Palliama (Sriram Nagar Sahi) PS-Purusottampur, Dist-Ganjam, Odisha with recovery of 25 Kgs. 400 grams of Ganja, valued Rs.1,52,400/- approx. The recovered contraband goods (Ganja) were seized in presence of the Executive Magistrate and handed over to GRPS/Brahmapur. In this connection GRPS/Brahmapur has registered a case vide No.31, dtd.25.02.2020, U/S-20(b)(ii)(c)NDPS Act-1985.

On 25.02.2020 at about 11.00 hrs, information received from RPF/Post/Bhubaneswar regarding left behind bag in general compartment of train No.58534 passenger,of one bonfide passenger viz. Sanjay Kumar Champati and who got down at Bhubaneswar railway station. On duty PF staff of RPF/Post/ Cuttack railway station retrieved the said bag, valued Rs. 3000/-Approx. Further, the retrieved bag was handed over to its owner with proper acknowledgement.

On 25.02.2020 at about 06.20 hrs, information received from SCNL/Khurda Road regarding left behind of one bag in train Train No.18451 exp,on berth No.-17 of Coach No.S/6, as reported by one passenger viz. Shreya. On duty officer and staff of RPF/Post/Khurda retrieved the said bag containing, i) one HP Laptop valued Rs.35000/-, ii) Cash Rs.37, 700/-, iii) Kotak ATM card, iv) Paytm card, v) one Airpod(apple) valued Rs.12,000/-, vi) Apple Watch valued Rs. 26,000/- (Total ValuedRs.1,10,000/-)Approx. on arrival of the said train at Khurda road railway station. Subsequently, the retrieved bag was handed over to its owner on verification and proper acknowledgement.

On 25.02.2020 at about 10.00 hrs, acting on an information received from RPF/Post/Sambalpur through one passenger viz. Sonu Shand, aged 44 yrs. regarding left behind of one bag in Train No.18508 Exp. in general compartment, officer & staff of RPF/Post/Rairakhol attended the said train on arrival at Rairakhol railway station and retrieved the bag containing old used clothes and one mobile phone, total valued Rs.14, 000/- Approx.. Further, the retrieved bag was handed over to its owner on verification and proper acknowledgement.

On 23.02.2020, train escort party of RPF/Post/Jagdalpur, retrieved one left behind bag containing, clothes and medicines, total valued Rs.1,000/- of one passenger viz. Priyanka Chatterjee W/O- Puspen Sarkar R/O-388/19 Behela Airport Road,Parmasree Pally, Circus Aveneue, Kolkata, WB(State), who was travelling with her family members in train no-18447 from KUR to KRPU, having PNR No-6640383922 Coach No-B1 ,Seat No-27,29,32. On 25.02.2020, the retrieved bag was handed over to its owner at RPF/Out Post/Jeypore, on proper verification and acknowledgement.

On 26.02.2020 at about 16.05 hrs. officer and staff of RPF/Post/Visakhapatnam conducted checking/drive at Visakhapatanam railway station in PF no.08, during course of drive rescued one minor girl, aged 15 years who was moving towards Vizag Port test(VZT) end side without any guardian. On enquiry,the said girl stated that, she fled away from her home without any knowledge of her guardian. Information given to her father over mobile No. 9652122194. The rescued girl was produced before Chair person/Child Welfare Committee /Visakhapatnam, through Child line Viskahapatnam Railway station and as per direction of Child Welfare committee/Visakhaptnam, she was handed over to GCH(Govt.Child home)/ Visakhapatnam. In this connection Station superintendent/Visakhpatnam made a station diary entry vide No-584/26 dated. 26.02.2020.

On 26.02.2020 officer and staff of RPF/Post/Bhubaneswar along with GRPS/Bhubaneswar, checked T/No- 12281 (Bhubaneswar-New Delhi) Duronto Express, which placed on PF No-01 of Bhubaneswar Railway station. During checking they apprehended one person viz. Kiranmal Jana, age-45yrs, S/O-Prafulla Kumar Jana, of Ramachaka, PS- Bhupatti Nagar, Dist- Purba, Medinapur, West Bengal, who was working as licensee Vender in T/No. 12281 (Bhubaneswar-New Delhi) Duronto Express, with recovery of 09 bottles, each contains, 180 ml. of foreign liquor (Imperial Blue) in sealed condition kept in a carry bag. On interrogation, he could not produce any legal authority or license in support of those foreign liquors. Further the above named person with foreign liquor brought to GRPS/Bhubaneswar. In this connection GRPS/BBS, registered a case vide No- 42/2020 dtd 26.02.2020 U/S-52(a)(i) of odisha Excise Act. 2008

On 25.02.2020 at about 20.40 hrs information received from Security control/Khurda road regarding left behind of 01 red colour Suitcase, Valued Rs.7000/- in coach No.B-2 of berth No.31,32, T/No-18645 express. as reported by one bonfide passenger viz. Dilip Kumar Maskara. On getting information,Officer and staff of RPF/Post/ Balugaon attended the train on its arrival at Balugaon and retrieved the said suitcase. On 26.02.2020 at about 07.00 hours, the retrieved bag was handed over to its owner on proper verification and acknowledgement.

On 26.02.2020, officer and staff of RPF/Post/Puri, during course of drive checked train No-18451, Tapaswini Express on arrival at Puri station on PF No.2 at 07.52 hrs. During course of drive they retrieved one green & black colour bag, containing cash Rs.4270/-, new clothes & other valuble documents i.e. PAN card, Adhrar card and pocket diary (Total Valued Rs.9270/-). from seat No. 54 of coach No.S-1. Contact made with the passenger viz. Suresh Reddy, mobile No.878580200304, who stated that, he was travelling in train No. 18451 on 25.2.2020, in coach No. S-1, 54 from Hatia to Bhubaneswar vide PNR No. 6740708048, left behind the bag and got down at Bhubaneswar Rly. station. Accordingly the bag was handed over to his friend on proper verification and acknowledgement.

On 25.02.2020 information received regarding, one person viz. Rahul Gupta S/O Pramod Gupta R/O Panarapara, near matamandir ,Jagadalpur, Bastar, Dist. Chattishgarh, fled away from his home. On getting information on duty train escorting staff of RPF/Post/Araku of train no-58502 (EX.Visakhapatanam-Araku ) trace out the said person at BGHU(Borraguhallu) railway station and handed over at RPF/Post/S Kota with intimation to his relatives . Accordingly, on 26.02.2020 his friend viz. Mahesh Das attended at RPF/Post/S Kota and the missing person was handed over to him with proper acknowledgement.

On 27.02.2020 at about 22.00 hrs an information was received from Chhattisgarh police that a group of 18 to 20 members were travelling to Vishakhapatnam from Jagdalpur in Train No. 18513 Kirundul - Visakhapatnam express. Their movement is suspected to be a human trafficking. The photographs of the group members are also shared. Immediately Sr.DSC/RPF/Waltair coordinated with the officials of local police and formed a joint team consisting of RPF, GRP/Visakhapatnam, Local police/4th town and Child Help Desk for verification of information with a view to rescue of the victims from human trafficking,. The train arrived Visakhapatnam railway station at 04.45 hrs on 28.02.2020. On arrival of the train, the joint team located 13 persons including 03 minor girls form the general coach. Then it was learnt that all 13 persons hailed from the police limits of Kodenar P.S, Bastar district, Chhattisgarh. They have proceeding to Gudiwada, Krishna district, A.P for labor work with one railway contractor. Detailed verification revealed that 03 girls aged-15,15 &16 years and one boy aged-16 years are minors and they have also accompanied with the other group members for the first time for labor work. Many persons in the group have already visited Gudiwada for labor work and this time also they were preceded for labor work only. No human trafficking angle was alleged. As 09 of the group members are majors, they have been allowed to proceed to Gudiwada duly collecting their credentials. In order to avoid the possible threat from the anti social elements, minor, 03 girls and one minor boy were produced by the above joint team before the Chair Person/Child Welfare Committee/Visakhapatnam through Child Line, Visakhapatnam. As per the directions of CWC the rescued minors have been handed over to Child Home, Visakhapatnam. In this regard, Station Superintendent, Visakhapatnam made dairy entry vide No. 599/23/I,II,III&IV dtd. 28.02.2020.

On 28.02.2020 at about 12.15 hrs, some Person arrived at RPF Post/Puri along with Photographs of one missing Person viz. Narayan Pradhan, aged-62 Years, At-Matimandap Sahi, PS-Town, Dist-Puri [Odisha], who was missing from his home on 27.02.2020 at 11.30 hrs. They also informed that, they had given an FIR in town PS/Puri regarding missing of the person vide SDE No.05 dt 27-02-2020 and the person is little bit mentally disturbed.In this regard CCTV footage checked from 12.00 hrs of 27.02.2020 till departure of train No.17479 Puri-Titupati Express and could able to detect the above named person who boarded in rear GS coach No-SC-01445 No.17479 [Puri-Tirupati Express]. After taking the running status of train No.17479 [Puri-Tirupati Express], IPF/Puri contacted RPF/Post/Tirupati and 02 staff of RPF/Post/Tirupati attended the train on arrival at Tirupati and rescued the above named person.Further one of his family member, who was available at Vijayawada attended Tirupati Post & taken the missing Person. Tomorrow morning they will return from Tirupati to Puri. IPF Puri also informed the matter to IIC Town PS.

On 28.02.2020, during course of drive officers and staff of RPF/Post/Puri retrieved one deep blue colour ladies bag containing cash Rs-2500/-, valuble cosmetics items,. PAN card, Adhrar card and pocket diary (Total Valued-5000/--). kept under the bench of PF-No-.7 Puri Railway station. In this connection contact made with one person viz. Pratha Das,aged-33yrs,S/O-Pradeep Das,R/O-Gopal Chatterjee Road,near FC godown,PS-Cossipore,Dist-Kolkata, WB who stated that he was travelling with his family in train No. 12881 Ex. Howhah to Puri vide PNR No. 6339795283 and his ladies bag was left behind at Puri railway station by mistake. He attended RPF Post/Puri and the said bag with all article intact was handed over to him with proper acknowledgement.

On dt 28.02.2020, at about 08:30 hrs an information received from RPF/Post, Anakapalli regarding missing of ladies hand bag containing cash of Rs. 300/-, cosmetics and valuable documents total value Rs-1,000/-at PF No.1 of Duvvada Railway station towards Visakhapatnam end. Immediately, on duty PF staff of RPF/Post/Duvada attended and retrieved the bag. Accordingly, information was given to complainant viz. Smt. Kovvuru Laxmi W/o. Appanna R/o. Bodi veedhi, Pedaparthi, Anaparthi, East Godavari who attended RPF/Post/Duvvada and the bag with all articles intact was handed over to her with proper acknowledgement.

On 28.02.2020 one complaint viz. Utpal Nayak, age-19 yrs, , R/O-Marishda, PS-Marishda, Dist-Purba Medinapur, West Bengal lodged FIR at GRPS/Brahmapur that, on 27.02.2020 while he was travelling in T/No. 22874 in coach No.S-1, berth No.51 & 53 from Visakhapatnam to Digha at about 22.15 hrs, on approaching at Bramhapur railway station his OPPO mobile phone was snatched by one unknown person from charging point of the said train and fled away from spot. In this connection GRPS/Bramhapur, registered a case vide No.34/2020 dtd.28.02.2020, U/S-380 IPC. Further on 28.02.2020 at about 04.30 hrs. officer and staff of RPF/Post/Bramhapur conducted drive at waiting hall No.02 of Bramhapur railway station, during which one person viz. Kailash Behera @ Papu, age-28 yrs, S/O-Kirtan Behera, R/O- Gate Bazar, Golapalli Sahi, PS-B.N.Pur, Dist-Ganjam, Odisha was arrested with recovery of one OPPO mobile phone valued Rs. 4000/-. On interrogation he confessed that, he was committed theft in the night of 27.02.2020 from train no.22874 ( Visakhapatnam-Digha) in coach No. S-1 berth No.51 & 52 at Brahmapur railway station. Accordingly the culprit with recovery mobile was handed over to GRPS Brahmapur. In this connection, he was tagged in GRPS BAM's case No. 34/2020 dtd. 28.02.2020, U/S- 380 IPC. On further interrogation, he also confessed his involvement in GRPS/KUR Road case No.(1) 63/19 dtd.17.06.2019 U/S-392/341 IPC which turned to case no. U/S-394/411/34 IPC (2) Case No.78/18 dtd.27.07.2018 U/S-380 IPC (3) GRPS/Cuttack case No.86/15 dtd.27.07.2015 U/S-380/34 IPC (4) GRPS/Bhubaneswar case No.33/19 dtd.20.05.2019 U/S-379 IPC (5) Brahmapur Town PS case No.225/17 dtd.31.10.2017 U/S-52 (a) Odisha Excise Act & (6) RPF Post Duvwada Case No.03/2019 dtd.09.12.2019 U/S- 3(a)RP(UP)Act and convicted by IInd MM/VSKP. He was released from the Central Prison (Jail) Vishakhapatnam on 24.02.2020
