GOOD WORK DONE BY RPF ECoR FOR THE PERIOD FROM 01.06.2021 TO 15.06.2021.

1) On 01.06.2021 at about 06.50hrs, Train No.02145 [LTT-] Express arrived at Platform No.03. On it's arrival at Puri Railway Station, while on duty Officers & Staff of Puri [ASI A.N.Khan & HC A.K.Routray] were engaged for conducting routine security check before locking of Coaches to prevent & detect criminal activities if any, noticed one mobile Phone Realme X - 50 was kept charge on Seat No.05 of Coach No. H-1 [B Cabin] in unclaimed condition. On seeing that, they made efforts to find out it's owner, but not found. The above named RPF Staff also noticed the mobile phone was in switched off condition. The recovered mobile phone was brought to RPF Post, Puri for its further disposal. After providing charging, when the said mobile phone was switched on, at about 07.15 hrs, one call received on the above phone & caller given his identity as, Madhusudan Sahoo R/o-Pidipada Sasan, PS--Polasara, Dist-Ganjam [] & informed that, he is working as a chief accountant in a multinational company. Due to Covid/lockdown, he was coming from Mumbai to , vide PNR No. 8238024783 for further proceed to his home. On arrival at Bhubaneswar Station he got down from the train along with his luggage’s, but unfortunately left behind his mobile phone. After got down from the train, he made several efforts by dialed his number but found switched off, but after few times he could able to connect his number. On 01.06.2021 at about 10.00hrs the owner of the phone attended RPF Post, Puri and the recovered mobile phone valued Rs.31000/-approx. was handed over to him by SI Mohan after proper verification under acknowledgement. After receipt of the mobile phone, said person appreciated the honesty of RPF/Puri.

2) On 30.05.2021 at about 23.25hrs Const. M. Nagaraju and Const. Manish kumar of RPF/Post/Visakhapatnam informed to TA on duty regarding one lady hand bag thrown by on duty TTE of South Central Railway viz. D.K.R.G Goutam having mobile no 9121271424 from train no 02703 of coach no S6 on PF No-04 , which was arrived Visakhapatnam at 22.46 hrs and departure at 23.17 hrs. However contact made with the on duty TTE, who thrown the bag from S-6 Coach, he stated that the passenger viz. Prakash Kumar and Nishu Kumari vide PNR No. 6348989019 of berth No. 14 & 16 were got down from the train at Visakhapatnam Railway Station. Then, the said hand bag was brought to the SS office by above noted RPF staffs and in this respect inventory was prepared together with on duty SS/ Visakhapatnam, on duty CTI/ Visakhapatnam and officer and staffs of RPF /Post/ Visakhapatnam and found the following articles. One pair PAYAL (02)One Red colour makeup Box (3)One Aloe Vera company makeup box (4)One blue colour VIVO mobile (5)Cash 1040/-(one 500/- note+ one 200/- note+ one 100/- note+12 nos of 20/- notes) (6)One golden colour chain (7)One black colour charger (8)Other makeup items (9)One coin box containing 155/- rupees (10)One ADHAR card in the name of Nishu Kumari. The bag was containing with the above items kept at RPF/Post Visakhapatnam for further disposal. On 01.05.2021 RPF Post Visakhapatnam made contact with Cyber Cell/WAT and shared the victim passenger PNR number for obtaining mobile number. Accordingly Cyber Cell given passenger mobile no. 9709740083 and made contact with victim passenger. Further on 01.06.2021, the victim passenger along with her husband viz. Prakashkumar, S/O Ramayodhya Prasad, Dhekahan Bazar, otihari, East Champaran, Bihar- 845401 attended RPF Post, Visakhapatnam and submitted identity proofs and travel ticket. The recovered lady bag valued Rs. 14000/-approx. was handed over to above said couple under proper acknowledgement and photography.

3) On 09.04.21 at 12.10 hrs, a message was received by RPF/Post/Cuttack from DSCNL/Khurdha Road over mobile phone to attend the on duty TTE of Coach No-C-1, Sri C.Kumar of Hqr-Puri of Tr No.-02088 Dhauli Exp. for receiving of 02 left behind luggage’s, which was left by one bonafied passenger Viz. Abhirup Pahani, S/O-Uday Kumar Phani ,18 1st Road eastern park Santoshpur Kolkata West Bengal, who fell down from running train at Vanivihar P.H and sustained severe injury while he was sitting nearby the door. The injured person was shifted for further treatment by the RPF staff of RPF/Post/Bhubaneswar as informed by the on duty TTE. Simultaneously on duty shift officer ASI D. N. Nayak with H/C 5245 S.K.Sundarya of RPF/Post/Cuttack attended the TTE and received the said luggage, containing 01 laptop Lenovo, laptop charger, mobile charger, cloth, shoes, personal hygienic, PAN Card, Aadhar Card ,04 ATM Cards. Then the said luggages brought to RPF/Post/Cuttack and kept in safe custody. Further on 02.06.21 at about 10.30 hrs, one representative of the bag owner Viz. Sambit Kumar Swain S/O-Rabinarayan Swain R/O-Sankarpur Das Sahi, Cuttack Adhaar No-759086629244, mob no-9658204212 attended at RPF/Post/Cuttack and received the left behind bags correctly under proper acknowledgement after confirmation from the owner of the left behind luggages over phone. The owner could not attend the post for receive, because he is under treatment (bed ridden) at Kolkata. The value of the left behind luggages valued Rs.70,000/-Approx. The receiver became overwhelmed towards RPF department and became gratitude.

4) On 02.06.2021 at about 03:58 hrs received a phone call from on duty TE staff, Constable- 4377-P.G.Rao of T.No. 02704, SC-HWH Express that, one old man aged about 64 years (Patient) Viz. Sailendranath Mondal got down from T.No. 02704, berth No.10 of B-3 coach having PNR No. 4833125409 at Vishakhapatnam Railway Station as reported by his son Viz. Soumen Mondal, S/o- Sailendranath Mondal, R/o- Purba gabtala, South twenty four paragana, West Bengal, having Phone No. 7074686108 while they were returning from Secunderabad after taking medical treatment of his father. Accordingly on duty shift officer ASI/P.C.M.Rao, ASI/CH.V.Bhaskar of RPF/Post/Vishakhapatnam searched and found the said person on PF No. 8 and informed the matter to his son, who already got down from the train at Vizianagaram. The passenger viz. Soumen Mondal attended at Vishakhapatnam Railway Station and took his father safely from RPF Post/ Vishakhapatnam at about 07:30 hrs with proper acknowledgement.

5) On 02.06.2021 from 05:00 hrs, a drive against un-desirable elements was conducted by SI/ Farid Shah along with HC/2564 Ch S Rao and Const/ P Murali of RPF/ Post/Vishakhapatnam under the supervision of PC/Vishakhapatnam near BNITN Colony, T.C.Palem, Boyapalem, near condemned Railway Quarters/Vishakhapatnam. During course of the same 03 Nos. of buffalos and 02 Nos. of cows were detained which were kept un-authorisedly by any outsider. In this respect information was given to Chief Veterinary Officer, Greater Vishaka Municipal Corporation, Mudasarlova, Vishakapatnam, who attended and subsequently handed over the buffalos and cows under proper acknowledgement for further course of action as per procedure.

6) On 04.06.2021 at about 10.00hrs the train escorting party in charge of T/No 07016 Secunderbad- Bhubaneswar Visakha express namely Head Constable-S.R. Murthy along with Constable-Krishna Kumar of RPF Post/Visakhapatnam attended RPF/Post/Vizianagaram and reported that, during their escorting duty from Visakhapatnam to Vizianagaram while they were conducting train checking along with on duty TTE namely Sri U. Chandan Kumar/Visakhapatnam found 02 minor girls were moving suspiciously without any guardian in the said train. On being asked they did not give satisfactory replay. Hence the 02 minor girls were detrained at Vizianagaram railway station and produced before PC/RPF/Vizianagaram. On being asked they disclosed their identity as 1) Shivani Sardar, Age 16 years, D/O Khepa Sardar and 2)Kakuli Sundi, age 16 year, D/O Pitar Sundi,village Nayagram, Post- Dumari, East Singhbhum, Jharkhand State Pin 832104 and provided phone number of their guardian. Immediately the matter was communicated with their mother and uncle over phone No 7004363108, they stated that both girls were cousin and returning from Hyderabad as both were working in a egg farm at Hyderabad due to poverty and their uncle stated that they will attend Vizianagaram on 05.06.2021 by first available means to receive them. Further, the information was given to Child Help Line/Vizianagaram, as well as to on duty SS/RRI/Vizianagaram. In this connection SS/RRI/Vizianagaram made a diary entry vide No– 1396 dated 04.06.2021. The rescued minor girls were handed over to Smt G.K. Durga (mobile no 8331894148), Team member Child help line/ Vizianagaram (Nature child care) by ASI/D.V. M. Krishna of RPF/Post/Vizianagaram with proper acknowledgement for better care and protection. During rescue and disposal all the guidelines were followed as per SOP. On coordination with child Line/Vizianagaram it could be learnt that the rescue minor girls were kept at Juvenile home/Vizianagaram

7) On 04.06.2021, at about 15.30 hrs information received from Station Superintendent/Baudpur vide Baudpur station DE.No-1353/B as reported by Jitendara Ram,on duty TPMA/ Baudpur that one woman namely Satyabhama Purohit, aged 27 Years, W/O-Nilamber Purohit, R/O-Khaliapali,PS- Subarnapur (Sonepur), Dist-Subarnapur, Odisha got down from Train No-06597 (Yeswantpur- Howrah Express) at Baudpur station, while the train was stopped at Baudpur station for want of Signal and the above named women is required assistance as she was feeling alone. On receipt of information SI/Satya Prakash with lady Constable-SampatiDhali of RPF/Post/Bhadrak attended Baudpur Railway station and recued the above named women. On being asked to the above women, she did not give satisfactory reply about the deboarding from train as well as her journey particulars. She stated that there is no any relative of her residing at Bhadrak to stay at Bhadrak. Further she gave out her husband’s as Nilamber Purohit and Mobile No-7609991485. In this respect SI/S.Prakash contacted to her husband over phone, who replied that due his son’s treatment at KIIMS/Hospital/Bhubaneswar, and unable to attend Bhadrak 02 -03 days to receive his wife and also stated that his wife left KIMS/Hospital/Bhubaneswar after quarrel with him. Hence, the above woman was handed over to Secretary, Ashiyana Swadhar Greh, At-Sankarpur, Puruna Bazar/Bhadrak, PS: Puruna Bazar, Dist-Bhadrak, Odisha at about 20.15 hrs dt 04-06-2021 in good health condition & proper acknowledgement for further course of action. The matter was informed to GRPS/Bhadrak. In this connection a DE.No-1353(B) dt 04-06-2021 for rescue made at Baudpur station & DE.No-1807(B) dt 04-06-2021 was made at Bhadrak station.

8) On 05.06.2021, Train No- 06186 (Malda Town-Trivandrum) Spl exp arrived Bhubaneswar on PF No-04 at 09.03 hrs and left at 09.10 hrs. While the train took departure, on duty RPF platform patrolling staff Constable-9450 S.K.Behera and Shift Officer SI/H.N Biswal of RPF/Post/Bhubaneswar noticed one person got down from the general coach from the above running train and started running. On doubt the above named officer & staff chased and were able to nabbed the said person with one mobile phone. On being asked he disclosed his name & address as Jitu Ransingh, aged- 28 yrs, S/O- Late Sukanta @ Kelu Ransingh,R/o-Biribabdha,PS-Airfield,Distt-Khorda at present Haladipadia, PS- Laxmisagar, Bhubaneswar, Distt- Khorda Odisha and failed to give any satisfied reply about the mobile set found in his possession. By that time one passenger namely Regul Karim, aged- 29 yrs, S/O- Abdul Kadar Seikh, R/o-Chandpur, PS-Bamangola, Dist- Malda, West Bengal, rang on the said mobile and informed that the mobile belongs to him and one person stolen his Vivo- Y- 51 A Mobile(valued Rs-25,000/-) from the train and fled away. Then SI /H.N.Biswal informed the passenger about recovery of his mobile with apprehension of the culprit. But the above named passenger stated that he has some urgent work at Trivandrum so he could not break his journey to attend GRPS/Bhubaneswar to lodge an FIR. On interrogation the apprehended person confessed that he had boarded at Cuttack station & came up to Bhubaneswar and committed theft of the mobile from the passenger just after start of the train from platform of Bhubaneswar station he got down. Hence, the accused was taken to GRPS/Bhubaneswar. In this regard SI/H.N.Biswal of RPF/Post/Bhubaneswar submitted an FIR about the incident and produced the apprehended person with the stolen/recovered mobile phone. Basing upon the FIR, GRPS/Bhubaneswar registered a case vide No-43/2021 dtd- 05.06.2021 U/S-379 IPC.

9) On 07.06.2021 as per Prabal data information and on the basis of a reliable source of information ASI Ratha Hansda, along with the staff of RPF/Post/Balugaon conducted checking to work out the information about unauthorized procuring and selling of Rly E-tickets at Kandia, Kodala area. During checking at 11.00 hrs, the raid party could able detain one person who was engaged in doing some computer work. On interrogation, he disclosed his name and address as Pradip Swain, Age-25 Years, S/O-Balaram Swain, R/O- Kandia, PS-Kodala, Dist-Ganjam, and on asking about selling and procuring of E-ticket he denied to do so. further told him to conduct a search in his computer for the illegal business of procuring and selling of Rly E-ticket. Then he voluntarily allowed the party to conduct a search. During search found 47 nos of personal user ID in which 17 no’s of future ticket valued Rs. 19031.81 and 02 no’s of cancellation future ticket valued Rs. 826.58 (Total Valued Rs. 19858.39). Further, he stated that he has generated the above-mentioned tickets by creating different personal user ID’s for his personal gain by taking a commission of Rs 100/- to Rs 150/- per ticket and his transactions were done vide account no 439201500362 of ICICI Bank/Beguniapada and account no. 9020084408603 of AXIS Bank/Banpur. On-demand he failed to produce any receipt/ legal authority for support of his business of procuring and selling of railway E-reservation tickets. Then he confessed his guilt. Hence ASI R Hansda seized 19 nos of E-ticket (17-Future, 02-Cancellation future) and 01 no. CPU (HP) having serial no. 4CE0351PQJ from his house in presence of available witnesses. The confessional statement was recorded at the spot in which he confessed his guilt & begged apology. Though the act was done by the person is a non- bailable offense and as per the direction of Hon’ble High court of Odisha Sl No. 07(VIII) and in view of the pandemic of COVID-19, the above person was not arrested U/S 179(II) Rly Act. Accordingly, he was served a notice and released on executing bail bond U/S 41(A) Cr. P.C with direction to appear before the Hon’ble Court of JMFC/Khalikote as and when order by Hon’ble court. In this connection a case vide no. C3C-43-2021 dated 07.06.2021 U/S 143 Rly Act has been registered at RPF/POST/Balugaon.

10) On 08.04.2021 regarding theft of one Samsung M30S Mobile phone having SIM No- 7728044153 & EMEI NO- 351832113391727 & 351833113391725 value Rs 10000/- in train No-02037 SPL as reported by complainant Padam Kishor, Aged 30 Yrs, SO- Sataram Ji, RO- Khadadhanhi , Barmer Rural, Barmer, Rajasthan. IIC/GRP/ registered a PS case vide No-08/2021 dtd.08.04.2021 U/s 379 IPC against unknown person. However officers and staff of RPF/ Post/ Sambalpur are being made co-ordination with GRP/Sambalpur regularly to trace out the culprit as soon as possible. On 08.06.2021 at about 21.30hrs received information from IIC/GRP/Sambalpur regarding movement of TOPB offender near Market complex Sambalpur R/S area. PC/RPF/Sambalpur, SIPF P.K.Jayapuria ,CT Rupesh Kumar of RPF/ Post/ Sambalpur & SI R.C.Patra with staff of CIB unit Sambalpur with officer and staff of GRPS Sambalpur conducted joint raid under the supervision of IIC/GRP/Sambalpur near Market complex Sambalpur R/S area and its adjacent area. During course of raid, at about 22.30 they apprehended one male person , who was moving in the said market area. On interrogation, he disclosed his identity as Sanu Thapa,Aged 29 Yrs, SO- Late Sashi Bahadur Thapa, RO- Ranibandha, Bareipali ,PS-Ainthapali, Dist-Sambalpur (ODISHA) .On asking he produced one Samsung M30S Mobile , but he unable to show any documents of the said mobile and confessed his guilt that, he had committed theft of said mobile phone from the running train, while he was coming from PURI-Sambalpur on 06.04.2021. Hence he was arrested and connected with GRPS/Sambalpur’s case vide No-08/2021 dtd.08.04.2021 U/S 379 IPC. On 09.06.2021 and the arrested person was forwarded before Hon’ble court of SDJM/Sambalpur for taking legal action.

11) On 09.06.2021 at about-14.10 hrs, while on duty RPF Staff [CT-9854 A.P. Mishra] of MalatipattaPur Railway Station [MLT] was engaged for performing crime prevention & patrolling duty, noticed one male person aged about-20 Years was sitting in between UP line Railway track for committing suicide near MalatipattaPur Railway Station yard. At that time, RPF Staff also noticed that, the line was clear for passing of train No.07479 [Tirupati-Puri] Express from UP line he immediately removed him from the Railway track and informed the matter to duty Officer [SI Mohan] to provide assistance to save his life. On getting information SI Mohan & ASI B.K.Bal attended MalatipattaPur Railway Station. During interrogation he gave out his name & address as Paresh Tarai, aged-20 Years,S/O- Madhusudan Tarai [8456094086], At-Sukdeipur, PS-Kuakhia, Dist-Jajpur [Odisha]. Subsequently matter informed to the concern Police Station and also to his parents through available sources. Family members of the concern person requested to detain his son at RPF Post Puri till their arrival at Puri. Finally at about-19.00 hrs family members & friends of the concern person attended RPF Post Puri and after completion of legal formalities the rescued person handed over to his family members with due intimation to jurisdictional Police. Family members of the rescued person appreciated the outstanding work of RPF Staff of Puri to save life of his son. In this regard SS/MLT made a DE no-1049/C dated 09.06.2021.

12) On 09.06.2021 one rail madad complain was received regarding missing of one Kalpana Pandit. Accordingly on duty shift officer SIPF A.N.Nayak with staff C/New B.Sahoo attended T,No- 02820 (ANVT-BBS) Spl coach No- S-1, Berth No- 36 and able to rescue one unsound mind lady namely Kalpana Bhunia Pandit, aged- 45 yrs, W/O- Hari Krishna Pandit, R/O- Telami, Dist- East Medinapur, West Bengal who was travelling from Anand Vihar to Jaleswar but could not detrain at Jaleswar station, information was given to the complainant namely Sridhar Giri over mob No- 6372198688, who stated that they will reach BBS by road to receive the lady. But after some time he informed that due to non availability of any communication their relatives may be attended tomorrow. Hence, the rescue lady was handed over to WOMEN SWADHAR HREH, At- Ogalapada, PS- Khandagiri, BBSR, Dist- Khorda, Odisha after Antigen Test at Capital Hospital for further disposal.

13) On 08.06.2021 from 15.30 hours during checking by IPF/T S Swamy and Con/323 A Satyam of RPF/POST/Vishakhapatnam and SI/GRP Kameswar Rao along with RPC/374 L. Mahesh and RPC/551 P. Rama Rao of GRP/Visakhapatnam at Gate No.4 Visakhapatnam Railway Station Gyanapuram side noticed one person suspiciously try to entered into the station thorough other way. On that the above officer and staff manage to surrounded and detained him at the spot and being asked he disclosed his name and address as Manish Thakur, age 27 years, S/o (L) Ganesh Thakur, caste by Thakur, Maruvabad-Village, opposite Bajaranga-PS, Deoria Muzaffarpur, Bihar-843120 and he disclosed that he collected 04 packets of Ganja each packet 02 Kgs per kg Rs.2000/- total he paid Rs.16,000/- from Lothugedda, Paderu agency area near Chinthapalli from a unknown person. As per the provisions of NDPS Act 1985, SI/GRP prepared mediators report, then search and seizure report was prepared in presence of Gazetted officer and available witnesses. In this respect Inspector GRPS/Visakhapatnam registered case No. 121/2021 U/S 8(c) r/w 20 (b) (ii) (B) of NDPS Act-1985, Dtd: 08.06.2021. further produced before the Honourable court on 09.06.2021.

14) On 09.06.2021 Con-K.S.V.Kumar & LC/Rituparna Badajena of RPF Post/Rayagada who were escorted T/No- 02887 Ex Vizianagaram- Rayagada During escorting after passing Vizianagaram at about 10.40 hrs one bonafide passenger namely Rikoo Ram Sahu having PNR No 645-1078632 coach No S-1/6, reported them regarding missing of his wallet containing liquid cash of Rs 2960/- with other documents. Immediately escort party enquired with the co-passengers and searched at nearby coaches and could able to trace out the missing wallet of the victim passenger containing liquid cash of Rs 2960/- with other documents. On proper enquiry the missing wallet was handed over to the said victim passenger under proper acknowledgement.

15) On 09.06.2021 at about 11.00hrs H/C 9357 K.S Patra and H/C 4650 G.S.Sankar of Dog squad Visakhapatnam while conducting patrolling duty at Vizianagaram railway station on PF’s No 01 to 05 with Dog Alex, they noticed one Brown colour lady hand bag containing liquid cash Rs- 3600/- and silver bowl worth Rs- 1000/- at PF No’s 04 & 05 of Vizianagaram railway station and brought to RPF Post Vizianagaram and produced before on duty shift officer SIPF B.V. Ramana, During enquiry one passenger PNR No 4626121003 ex Secunderabad to Vizianagaram RS of train No 02086 exp (Nanded to Sambalpur Spl exp) attended RPF Post/ Vizianagaram and stated that she left behind her bag on PF 04 & 05 and went out of Vizianagaram. After some time, she noticed that her bag left on Platform. She came back to station and during searching, RPF staff on duty informed her about recovery of left behind bag and kept at RPF Post/ Vizianagaram. Subsequently the on duty shift officer handed over the bag in presence of the Dog Squad staff duly verified the ID proof with proper acknowledgement.

16 On 09.06.2021 from 21.30 hours during checking by RPF & GRP i.e ASI P.C.M.Rao along with staff of RPF/POST/VSKP and SI/GRP V. Ravi Varma with staff of GRPS/Visakhapatnam at Gate No.4 Visakhapatnam Railway Station Gyanapuram side noticed, one male person and 02 female suspiciously tried to enter into the station. Immediately they were surrounded and detained at the spot and on interrogation they disclosed their name and address as 1) Mohammad Bane Kasim Sheik, age 27 years, S/o Asim Sheik, caste by Muslim, R/o KalyanBevandi, Manda colony, Vada Road, Dist. Navi-Mumbai, Maharastra with possession of 05 packets Ganja weight about10 Kgs in black colour luggage bag. 2) Kamidi Kamala age 43 yrs W/o Madhu Caste by Valmiki(ST) R/o Near Pedduru Panchayat office, Ananthagiri Mandal, Dist. Visakhapatnam – A.P.with possession of 03 packets Ganja weight 06KgsOne green colour gunny bag, 3 ) KamidiSavitri age 40 yrs W/o Madhu Caste by Valmiki(ST) R/o Near Pedduru Panchayat office, Ananthagiri Mandal, Dist. Visakhapatnam – A.P.with possession of 02 packets Ganja weight 04Kgs in a Gray colour gunny bag Total weight 20Kgs Ganja - Valued Rs. 40,000/-. On further interrogation to A-1 who disclosed that ,he came from his village to collect those items from an unknown person as he procuring ganja business at his village. while they were entering in to Visakhapatnam Railway station for Train No. 01020 to proceed Kalaburagi vide PNR No 6451117105 Ex Vishakapatnam to Kalaburagi in S6 47 & 55 RAC and they were apprehended by Police. As per the provisions of NDPS Act 1985, SI/GRP prepared mediators report, then search and seizure report was prepared in presence of Gazetted officer and available witnesses and GRPS/VSKP registered case No. 123/2021 U/S 8(c) r/w 20 (b) (ii) (B) of NDPS Act-1985, Dtd: 10.06.2021 and produced before the Honorable court for further legal action.

17) On 09.06.2021 at about-08.00 hrs, train No.08451[Tapaswini Express] arrived at Puri Railway Station Platform No.02. On it's arrival at Puri Railway Station, while on duty Officer's & Staff of Puri [SI Mohan & CT-9534 P.B.Rout] were engaged for conducting routine security check before locking of Coaches to prevent & detect criminal activities, and found one trolley bag which was kept under the seat No.28 of Coach No.S-6 [Sleeper Class] in unclaimed condition. After preliminary enquiry the above RPF Staff brought the recovered bag at RPF Post Puri for further disposal,. On checking of trolley bag it is found containing 04 Pairs of clothes, Canteen items [grocery items], total value about- 20000/- , identity Card of one K.Surya Prakash Reddy, BSF Constable & journey ticket from Hatia-Khurda Road, PNR No.6450646770 Seat No.25,26 & 27 were also kept inside the upper pocket of the recovered trolley bag. On the basis of available details on duty RPF Officer made contact with the concern Passenger over his cell Phone. The concern Passenger stated that he is working in BSF and posted in Jharkhand. n the night of 08.06.2021 he boarded in train No.08451 from Hatia Railway Station along with his wife & children's for going to Nuapada. The above train reached at Bhubaneswar Railway Station at morning time of 09.06.2021 & they got down from the train for further pick to connecting train No.08463 [Prasanti Express] unfortunately he left behind his trolley bag. and requested to keep his recovered trolley bag at RPF Post Puri till the arrival of his relatives at Puri to collect the same. On 10.06.2021 his friend namely Jagdish Prasad Reddy attended the RPF Post Puri and the recovered bag containing all the items handed over to him with due verification. After received the same they appreciated the honesty & dedicated work of RPF Staff of Puri.

18) On 11.06.2021 at about 08.15 hrs during the course of round /checking by SIPF S.K.Rao with Meri Saheli Team of RPF/Post/Visakhapatnam under the supervision of IPF/VSKP, one minor girl was rescued on PF No.1, at Visakhapatnam Railway Station, who disclosed her name and address as Saraswati, aged 15 yrs, D/o. Babu Swami R/o 535, Madyachauk, Gopalpur, Korba, Chhattisgarh (Adhar No. 8850 7674 1993 ), who ran away from her home. In this connection, as part of the child rescue procedure, she has been produced before SS on duty VSKP with intimation to GRP/VSKP. In this regard, SS on duty made Dairy Entry Vide No. 1449(A) dated 11.06.2021 and the girl has been produced before the railway doctor VSKP for Covid -19 test where made which shows negative. Then the rescued minor girl produced at CWC/VSKP where ordered to hand over at govt home for Girls at Visakhapatnam. As per the order of Chairman/CWC, the rescued minor girl has been handed over at Govt. Special-cum-Children Home and Observation Home for Girls/Visakhapatnam under proper acknowledgment. In this respect intimated to SS on duty and who again made dairy entry vide no. 1450/A dated 11.06.2021. During the rescue, all the guidelines were followed as per SOP.

19) On 05.06.2021 at about 16.05 hrs information was received from DSCNL/Khurda regarding the left behind of one mobile phone on charging point at Brahmapur Railway station on PF No.01 of a passenger viz. Dheeraj Singh Rana who was travelling in T/No.08464 (SBC- BBS) SPL train in coach No.D-1, berth No.61 vide PNR No.4833215187. On getting information ASI-P.K.Sadangi on-duty Shift Officer and HC-9248 P.Maharana of RPF/Post/Berhampur immediately search the indicated location & could able to retrieve the said left behind mobile phone which was on the charging point near Pole No.19. The matter was informed to Dheeraj Singh Rana who stated that he will send his colleague to collect the said mobile phone from RPF Post/Brahmapur. Subsequently, on 11.06.2021 at about 15.30 hrs one colleague of Dheeraj Singh Rana viz. Ashwani Kumar Upadhyay, S/O-Mithilesh Kumar, R/O-Kanetpur Bhanya the-Iglas Aligarh, UP attended RPF/Post/Brahampur and requested to hand over the said mobile to him. Accordingly, the matter was appraised to over phone Dheeraj Singh Rana, and the said mobile phone of Apple iPhone 6s with charger value Rs.28900/- (approx) was handed over to Mr. Ashwani Kumar Upadhyay after proper verification and acknowledgment.

20) On 09.06.2021 at about-06.00 hrs, RPF/Post/ Cuttack informed to train escorting Party In-Charge ASI K.P.Pani with Con 40192 A.K.Rotaray of RPF/Post/Puri of train No.02802 [NDLS-PUI] Express reg. left behind of one cartoon of one Bonafide passenger viz. Paresh Pradhan, aged-26, S/O-Pratap ch. pradhan, At-Gopinathpur, PS-Nemal, Dist-Cuttack [Odisha], who was traveling from GOMA to Cuttack, Coach No.S-6, Seat No.52, Vide PNR No-2320271098. On receipt of information, ASI K.P.Pani attended the indicated Coach & could able to recover left behind the cartoon. Subsequently, RPF ASI also transmitted the information to RPF/Post/Cuttack & concerned passenger and on the request of the above-named passenger, recovered cartoon brought to RPF/Post/Puri. Finally, on 11.06.2021 at about-11.30 hrs the above-named passenger attended RPF/Post/Puri and the recovered cartoon (containing Sanitizer, hand gloves, washing shop, cosmetic and clothing items total valueRs-5000/-) handed over to him with due verification & acknowledgment.

21) On 11.06.2021, at about 06.20 hrs information received from RPF/Post/Cuttack that one passenger left behind his bag on Platform No- 03 of Bhubaneswar station. On getting information SI S.K.Sethy with C/ 373 K.Kazi search the platform and recovered the said bag as described. Subsequently, the said bag brought to RPF/Post/Bhubaneswar and inform the passenger viz. MeghrayBaskey, At- Kathasirshi, PS- Kuliana, Dist- Mayurbhanj, Odisha having PNR No- 4413000082 Ex Bhubaneswar to Baleswar in T/No- 08646 exp M/No- 8149775387 who stated that as he was already in train hence, the bag may kindly be handed over to his friend Samar Kumar Murmu. Accordingly, at about 09.00 hrs one person namely Samar Kumar Murmu, at- Andhari, PS- Kuliana, Dist- Mayurbhanj, Odisha attended the post stated that his friend sends him to receive the bag which was unfortunately left behind at platform, Further contact made with the complainant who also requested the same. Hence, After proper verification, the said bag containing One HP laptop with charger, 03 pen drive, some documents, etc (Valued Rs 40000/- approx) was handed over to him with proper acknowledgment.

22) On 12.06.2021, at about-12.15 hrs, while on duty officer & Staff [ASI/N.K. Sahoo & Con- P.M.Behera] of RPF/Post/ Puri were engaged for conducting drive against undesirable elements at Station area, noticed one lady, aged about-60 years was sitting at the extreme end of Platform No. 01& 02 [towards Khurda end] in alone & isolated state. On duty RPF Staff also noticed that she was weeping continuously. Initially, it could be ascertained that the above lady belongs from a reputed family background. Accordingly RPF Staff politely interrogated & requested her to return home, but she denied to disclose anything. After that, RPF Staff strictly removed her from that area with the assistance of ladies Staff and brought to RPF/Post/Puri as it was suspected that she was sitting to commit suicide. After long counseling she disclosed her identity as Soudamini Jena, aged-60 years, W/O- [Late] Debendra Nath Jena, At-Abakash Lane, PS-Kumbharpada, Dist- Puri [Odisha]. She further disclosed that, today morning around-07.00 hrs, she left her home due to some family issues without the knowledge of her family members and around 11.30 hrs she came to the Station area through the yard side to go anywhere by available trains. After counseling & interrogation, the matter informed her home through available sources, and at about-14.00 hrs family members including the son of the concerned lady attended RPF/Post/Puri. They informed that they have been searching for her mother in the locality and relative’s home since morning. Finally, PC/RPF/Puri personally briefed the family members of the rescue lady and they took her with proper assurance that they will not repeat such types of behavior with her in the future. They also appreciated the great humanitarian work of RPF Staff of Puri, who played a dedicated and active role to find out her mother. At the time of leaving RPF/Post/Puri they all were very emotional. In this regard, RPF/Post/Puri made a D.E.vide No.31 dt 12-06-2021.

23) On 12.06.2021, at about 06.40 hrs Sri. B K Samal, Inspector/RPF/Palasa received information from a credible source regarding illegal transportation of contraband products by 02 persons at Palasa station. On getting information IPF-B.K.Samal along with SIPF-M.Malyadri, SIPF- A.K.Naik,HC-4655 J.K.Murty, CT-292 S.K.Nanda, CT-1704 J.Behera and CT-9514 A.K.Swain of RPF/Post/Palasa , HC-4713 S.K.Tripathy, CT-9557 Md.A.Khan of CIB/RPF/Khurda raod team and RPC-213 CH. Giri Babu and RPC-665 S.Bhaskar of GRP’s/Palasa conducted thorough checking and drive at Palasa railway station from 07.00 hrs to 07.30 hrs onwards to work out the information. During course of drive noticed 02 persons were sitting on the concrete sleeper stored west side of the south end of Palasa station with two luggage bags. On being asked them about the contents of the luggage bags they failed to give any satisfactory reply. On interrogation, they disclosed their identity as (1) Banti Barik, aged:-20 years, S/O-Krushna Chandra Barik, R/O-Bada Kharida, PS-Kabisurjya Nagar, Dist-Ganjam (Odisha) (2) Babulu Barik, aged:-19 years, S/O:-Santosh Barik, R/O:-Bada Kharida, PS-Kabisurjya Nagar, Dist-Ganjam (Odisha). On verification the contents inside the bags it seems to be contraband Ganja and the smell of Ganja was coming out. Hence both the persons were detained with the recovered bag at the spot. The fact was appraised to DSC/RPF/Khurda road & ASC/RPF/Khurda road over the phone. Thereafter, notices were served to both the detained persons for their search. Accordingly, they took consent from them in writing that they want to get their personal search in the presence of a Gazetted Officer. Sri. S.K.Singh, ASC/RPF/Khurda road attended the spot. As per direction of ASC/RPF/Khurda road, IPF/Palasa- Sri.B.K.Samal took the personal search of both detained person. Both the bags were opened at the spot in presence of mediators and found one black colour airbag (Black berry Brand) having 03 packets Ganja wrapped with brown color plastic cello tape weight about 02 kg each ( Total -06 Kg) and one military color plastic luggage bag(Citizen Brand) found 05 packets Ganja wrapped with brown color plastic cello tap of which 02 Packets each weight -02 Kg (Total-04 Kg) and other 03 packets wrapped with brown color plastic cello tap each weight - 01 Kg (Total-03 Kg) (Total Ganja found in both the bags is 13 Kg worth Rs-65,000/-). On-demand they failed to give any satisfactory reply in support of their lawful possession of said contraband Ganja. Rather they confessed that on 11.06.2021 they were traveling by T/No-02843(Puri-Ahmedabad Express) from Chatrapur to Surat in coach no S-1 having PNR No-681-3526262 due to fear they got down at Palasa and concealed their presence. On 12-06-2021, the morning they came to the station to board any train for Surat, and were waiting for the train and they were apprehended by Police personnel. Thereafter, IPF/Palasa- Sri.B.K.Samal gave a memo to SMR/Palasa to depute one Parcel clerk with a weighing machine for its weight. SMR/Palasa deputed one parcel clerk with a weighing machine. After weighing the Ganja packets it was seized by Sri. B.K.Samal, IPF/Palasa at spot in presence of available witness/Mediators. During personal search found one blue color Redmi Mobile phone with SIM No-8338948670, Liquid Cash Rs-600/-, One Aadhar card No-7650 4457 0112 from the possession of Banti Barik. One Redmi mobile phone with SIM Card-8594871977 and liquid cash-1000/- found from the possession of Babulu Barik. Both the apprehended person with seized “GANJA’’ and with relevant documents are produced before GRP’s/Palasa for taking further legal action. On basis of the Occurrence report and Seizure list GRP’s/Palasa register a case vide No:-52/2021 dtd-12.06.2021, U/S- 8 (C) R/W 20(B) (II) of NDPS Act-1985 against both arrested persons. The accused persons are being produced before 6th MM/VSKP for Railways for further legal action.

24) On 12.06.2021, while train escorting Party Staff [HC-9307 R.C. Routray] of train No.08451 [Tapaswini Express] of RPF/Post/Puri were engaged for performing their duty in Coach No.S-3, noticed one Cartoon was kept in Seat No.70 in unclaimed condition. At that time the above train was approaching Puri Railway Station. After verification of the recovered cartoon, they noticed that huge quantity of medicine was kept inside the cartoon. So the above-named Staff brought the recovered medicines to RPF Post Puri& informed the matter to duty Officer ASI/N.K. Sahoo for further hand over to its owner, if possible. At about-14.00 hrs a RAIL MADAD complaint was received at RPF/Post/Puri about that matter through DSCNL/Khurda road. Immediately duty Officer informed the matter to DSCNL/Khurda road as well as to the complainant namely Chandra Kant Behera S/o-Hadibandhu Behera, R/o-Gopal Jew Lane, Choudhury Bazar, Ps-PuriGhat, Cuttack Sadar, Dist- Cuttack, Odisha over his contact number, which was mentioned in his complaint. On getting information the complainant informed that, he is medicine representative of M/S-Varun Pharmaceutical & he was traveling Ex- Sambalpur-Cuttack for his profession purpose vide PNR No.6551030486, coach No.S-3, Seat No.70. The above train reached Cuttack Railway Station in the early morning of 12.06.2021 and he got down from the train along with his briefcase, but unfortunately he forgot his medicine cartoon(valued Rs-1,500/-) on the seat [upper seat]. When he informed the above matter to his office, someone suggested he should complain through 139. Accordingly, he gave a complaint, and within short time feedback received about the recovery of his medicines. Finally after completion of official formalities the recovered cartoon containing medicines handed over to the above-named person with due verification. After receiving the same he appreciated the wonderful act of RPF staff of Puri and quick response of 139.

25) On 12.06.2021, at about 08.20 hrs information was received from DSCNL/Khurda road regarding the left behind of one laptop of a passenger namely Gunti Anil Kumar in T/No.02874 Yeswantpur-Howrah SPL, coach No.A-1, berth No.50 who had already de-boarded at Palasa Railway station. On getting information ASI-S.Sahu of RPF Post/Brahmapur attended the said train on its arrival at 09.06 hrs at Brahmapur Railway station and retrieved the laptop which was inside a laptop bag on the above-mentioned berth. Information regarding retrieval of the Laptop at Brahmpur was given to the complainant over the phone. Subsequently, on 12.06.2021 at about 12.30 hrs complainant Gunti Anil Kumar, age-42 yrs, S/O-Gunti Krishna Rao, R/O-18-13-74/10/24, Patel Nagar, ChandrayanaGuatta, Bandlaguda, Hyderabad, Telangana, Aadhar No.504198294369, Mobile No.9866585353 attended RPF/Post/Brahmapur and requested to hand over the retrieved laptop to him. On being asked he stated that he was traveling along with his family in said train Ex. Yeswantpur JN to Palasa in coach No.A-1, berth No.49, 50, 51, & 52, vide PNR No.4113191744 and during de-boarding, at Palasa Railway station his laptop of DELL company value Rs.60,000/- was left behind on berth No.50. The said Laptop was handed over to Mr. Gunti Anil Kumar after proper verification with proper acknowledgment. The above-named passenger applauded RPF for such assistance.

26) On 13.06.2021 on-duty shift officer SI.H.N Biswal along with Const. B.Rout and Const. N.K.Das conducted a drive against undesirable elements at the Bhubaneswar station area. At about 11.30 hrs while they were at the old PRS area noticed one person moving suspiciously there. On noticed by the driving party he started running. On doubt, they chased and able to nab the said person with two mobiles. On asking he disclosed his name and address as Pintu Das @ Rinku, aged- 23 yrs, S/O- Chhabi Das, R/O- Badagaon, PS- Balikuda, Dist- Jagatsinghpur at present Chinikoli Basti, PS- Infocity, BBSR, Dist- Khorda Odisha but he could not give any satisfactory answer about the mobile set found in his possession. By that time one passenger viz. Md Ahmad Raza, aged- 22 yrs, S/O- Mustafa Ansari, At Monpur, PS-Buniyadganj, Dist- Gaya, Bihar, rang on the said mobile and informed that the mobile belongs to him. further he stated that on 12.06.2021 he along with his friend came to Bhubaneswar Rly station by T/No- 02802 (NDLS-PURI) Exp to proceed SC by T/No- T/No- 07015 (BBS-SC) Spl exp. After got down they went to outside for taking breakfast at that time some unknown culprit stolen the said mobile. Information was given about the recovery of his mobile with apprehended of the culprit. But the passenger stated that he has already at Secunderabad so he could not able to attend GRPS/Bhubaneswar and lodge FIR. Hence, the accused was taken to GRPS/Bhubaneswar. In this regard, SI/RPF/Bhubaneswar H.N.Biswal submitted an FIR regarding the matter and produced the apprehended person with the stolen/recovered mobiles (Valued Rs. 43000/-). Basing upon the FIR, GRPS/Bhubaneswar regd. case No- 45/2021 dtd- 13.06.2021 U/S-380 IPC.

27) On 14.06.2021 at about-07.58 hrs, while on duty RPF Staff CT-9554 A.P. Mishra was engaged in his duty at Malatipatapur Railway Station, noticed one male person jumped from Coach No.S-7 [Sleeper] of Train No.02844 [Ahmadabad-Puri] Express, which was passing from route No.03 of Malatipatapur Railway Station as resulted in the above male passenger sustained major injury. On seeing this on-duty RPF Staff shifted him from the Railway track and provided first aid to save his life as blood was coming out from his head and other parts of the body. After that, the RPF Staff shifted the injured person to Dist. Hospital Puri through 108 Ambulance for further treatment. After the initial inquiry matter informed his family's members and they reached the Hospital around-11.00 hrs. Now the health condition of the injured person is stabled. Family members of the injured passengers given his identity as Santosh Ku Jena, S/O-Naba Kishore Jena, aged about-35 Years, At-Parajapada, PS-Satyabadi, Dist-Puri [Odisha]. It is also learned that he is working in Surat, and to celebrate "Rajo" festival he was coming from Surat to Puri, vide PNR No.8138125549, Coach No.S-7, and Seat No.44. While the train was passing from Malatipatapur Railway Station, he make plan to get down from the running train to reach his home early, as the train was is in speed condition he fell down on the railway track and sustained major injuries. But due to prompt action by RPF Staff A.P. Mishra life of the injured passenger may be saved. The act of RPF Staff was appreciated by the family members and relatives of the injured person. In this regard, SS Malatipatapur made a D.E. vide No.1036 /[C].

28) On 15.06.2021 at 18.00 hrs one Rail Madad complaint received by SCNL/Waltair from one passenger viz. Mukesh regarding left behind of one parcel in Train No 08502 (GIMB-VSKP) Spl. In this respect during the enquiry by the shift officer ASI P.C.M. Rao with the staff of RPF/Post/Visakhapatnam retrieved the above cartoon box in sealed condition from the said train near berth no. 25., Coach B-2. Further in turn K Appa. Rao ASI/Anandapuram Local police station who is the relative of the complainant, attended the RPF/Post/Visakhapatnam and shown his Aadhar ID and stated that, Smt. Ganti Hema Latha, W/o Eswar Rao of Palasa who travelled in Train No 08502 (Gandhidham- VSKP) Spl. Ex. Gandhidham to Visakhapatnam in B-2 Coach, Berth No. 25,26 &27, vide PNR No. 8813156206 while getting down at Visakhapatnam Railway Station forget her cartoon box. After confirmation with the complainant, the cartoon box has been handed over to Sri. K. Appa Rao, ASI/Anandapuram Local police station under proper acknowledgement. Value Rs 7000/-.
