Tie the topgallant mast shrouds (16, 18 and 20) above the royal hounds, then down through the topmast crosstrees, tying them off to the topmast 20mm below. V9

V14 117C Before fitting the spanker (V7), tie a single block (C) to the eyepin next to the aftmost cannon, on both sides of the deck. Then tie a double block (D) to the brass bracket in the centre of the deck.

117D Tie the sheets (90) above the three blocks on the spanker boom. Pass them down and through the blocks in the previous step, then up and through the boom blocks. At this point, lead the lines down through the two side blocks, and tie off to the blocks on the deck. Pass the central V15 line through both blocks again, and then tie it off to the in front of the bracket.
