Grußwort Liebe Medienvertreter, Herzlich Willkommen zu adidas ROCKSTARS 2012! Wir freuen uns, die zweite Auflage unseres Boulder Einladungswettbewerbs in der wunderschönen Porsche- Arena in Stuttgart zu veranstalten, einer der modernsten Sportarenen Europas. In diesem Jahr treten rund 70 Weltklasseathleten aus 20 Nation an, darunter vier der Medaillengewinner der Boulder WM 2011 sowie 13 der Top 10 Damen und Herren der aktuellen IFSC Weltrangliste. Sie können sich also auf einen erstklassigen Wettkampf freuen. Als wir die Idee zu adidas ROCKSTARS entwickelten, erzählte uns nahezu jeder Athlet, dass sich die besten Wettkämpfe durch eine tolle Atmosphäre und gute Musik auszeichnen. Das bestärkte uns in unserem Ansatz, ‚Rock Climbing’ und ‚Rock Music’ live auf einer Bühne miteinander zu kombinieren. In diesem Jahr wird die Schweizer Rockband Sideburn das Finale der Top 6 Damen und Herren live begleiten. Doch nicht nur die Boulderelite steht an diesem Wochenende im Rampenlicht. Viele talentierte und aufstrebende Amateurkletterer aus 8 verschiedenen Nationen haben sich für den „GORE-TEX Be a Rockstar“ Contest angemeldet, um sich eine Wildcard für den Profiwettkampf zu sichern. Sechs von ihnen stehen am Samstagnachmittag beim „Build your Boulder“ Finale gemeinsam mit Kletterlegenden und den Beatbox Battle Allstars auf der ganz großen Bühne. Mit diesem adidas ROCKSTARS Media Guide möchten wir Sie mit allen wichtigen Hintergrundinformationen versorgen, die Sie für Ihre Berichterstattung benötigen. Jeder Mensch hat schon mal erfahren, welch motivierende Kraft Musik auf Körper und Geist ausübt. Musik kann binnen Sekunden Emotionen auslösen, der richtige Takt zum Klatschen auffordern, eine bekannte Melodie zum Mitsingen einladen. Musik treibt uns an und macht emotionale Momente unvergesslich. Sport und Musik sind eng miteinander verbunden - auch beim Bouldern. Nicht umsonst benennen viele Boulderer ihre Routen nach Songs, die sie während eines Projektes hören. Musik ist auch wesentlicher Bestandteil eines guten Sportevents, denn sie rückt die Helden ins rechte Licht, unterhält die Zuschauer und unterstützt beim Aufbau eines Spannungsbogens. Mitreißende Musik und gute Stimmung spornt Athleten zu Höchstleistungen an. adidas ROCKSTARS, greift diese Verbindung von Sport und Musik auf innovative Weise auf. Damit die Helden der internationalen Boulderszene wie „Rockstars“ gefeiert werden, verwandeln die Organisatoren den sportlichen Wettkampf in eine inszenierte Show mit Livemusik. So treten gleich mehrere Music Acts über den ganzen Tag verteilt auf. Die schwierigste Aufgabe hat dabei sicher die Schweizer Rockband Sideburn, denn sie begleitet das große adidas ROCKSTARS Finale der Top 6 Damen und Herren am Samstagabend live und muss sich musikalisch an den Wettkampfverlauf anpassen. Keine leichte Aufgabe für eine Band, die es gewohnt ist, selbst im Mittelpunkt zu stehen. Doch mit 20 Jahren Erfahrung im Musikgeschäft freut sich Sideburn auf diese neue Herausforderung: den energiegeladenen musikalischen Rahmen zu den sportlichen Höchstleistungen am künstlichen Fels zu liefern, das Publikum zu animieren und den Athleten einzuheizen. Invitational Competition Der geschlossene Wettkampf richtet sich an die Topathleten der IFSC Boulder- Weltrangliste (International Federation of Sport Climbing). Insgesamt 70 Athleten aus 20 Nationen (40 Herren und 30 Damen) wurden nach Stuttgart eingeladen. Je 20 Herren und Damen können sich am Freitag für das Halbfinale am Samstag qualifizieren. Gebouldert wird in der Qualifikation je vier und im Halbfinale je fünf Minuten an vier verschiedenen Bouldern. Die Top 6 Damen und Herren kommen ins Finale am Samstagabend. Hier klettern sie zunächst nacheinander an zwei verschiedenen Bouldern. Die besten drei Finalisten aus dieser Runde kämpfen an einem weiteren Boulderproblem um den Einzug ins Superfinale. Dort treten die 6 beiden besten Finalistinnen und Finalisten an dem sogenannten „Superboulder“ gegeneinander an, der speziell für den Event entworfen wurde. Sie klettern zur selben Zeit am selben Boulder eine identische Route. Im Superfinale reicht es allerdings nicht, den Top-Griff 3 Sekunden lang zu halten. Die Athleten müssen wie beim Bouldern in freier Natur, mit beiden Beinen oben auf dem Boulderblock stehen und mit der Hand einen Buzzer auslösen, der im Falle eines Wimpernschlagfinales über den Sieg entscheidet. Bei diesem spannenden Duell kommt es nicht nur auf die eigenen Fähigkeiten sondern auch auf gute Nerven an. Die beiden Superfinalisten können sich zwar nicht

Tesis. Yogyakarta: Program Pascasarjana, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, 2019. Meningkatnya popularitas olahraga panjat tebing telah mendorong banyak peneliti untuk meneliti terkait performa olahraga panjat tebing. Performa speed world record (WR) merupakan prestasi yang dicapai atlet kategori olahraga panjat tebing yang bersifat kompetitif, di mana atlet harus menyelesaikan jalur pemanjatan pada dinding panjat buatan standar dengan ketinggian 15m dengan waktu yang sesingkat mungkin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Perbedaan pengaruh latihan disassociated visualization dan progressive relaxation terhadap performa atlet panjat tebing Speed WR; (2) Perbedaan pengaruh self-efficacy terhadap performa atlet; dan (3) Interaksi antara latihan disassociated visualization, progressive relaxation, dan self-efficacy (tinggi dan rendah) terhadap performa atlet panjat tebing kategori WR. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan true experimental design yang dimodifikasi dengan desain factorial (2x2), dengan mengikut sertakan variabel kontrol. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh atlet panjat tebing speed WR junior dan youth, umur 15-20 tahun di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta dan Jawa Tengah. Adapun sampel diambil 20 orang atlet dengan teknik ordinal pairing. Data diambil dengan instrumen General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSE) yang dimodifikasi untuk mengukur self-efficacy dan motion climb untuk mengukur performa atlet panjat tebing speed WR. Two competitions left before the end of this year’s Climbing World Cup series, and the world’s best Lead and Speed athletes are fighting for decision-making points in Eastern Asia – a fight that continues up until the very last second! Just like at the IFSC World Cup event in Perm last week, time was not only a decisive factor in the Mokpo Speed competition, it also played a big role in the Lead competition, as well. With World Cup leader Jain Kim and her closest competitor Mina Markovic topping out in all four female rounds the attemped time in the finals decided once more about gold and silver in the Lead comp – this time Slovenia’s Mina Markovic was ahead by a nose, Kim strengthened her first place in the overall ranking Monday, 14th with silver in Mokpo; bronze went to Japan’s Momoka Oda. The titles of the world’s fastest climbers will be decided this weekend while Sachi Amma, Jain Kim and company fight for decision- making Lead points in China. Everything is moving quickly these days for the climbing elite; Only three days after the second to last Speed World Cup event in Haiyang (October 15th-16th) the Chinese city of Wujiang will be the venue of the big season final this Saturday. A good bet for the men’s Speed overall podium 2013 is reigning world champion Libor Hroza, who is currently leading six tiny points ahead of previous year’s champion Stanislav Kokorin and 50 points ahead of Mokpo winner Qixin Zhong. Nothing has been decided in the women’s competition either; Jain Kim and Mina Markovic have dominated this season (no victory for any other female athlete so far!) but they are currently seperated by only 30 points!
