Only Rav-Kav Dear Travelers, From Friday, March 7 2014 (5 Adar II), transfer fares in will only be possible through the Rav-Kav. Paper travel tickets will permit one trip only, without the possibility of transferring between the different modes of transportation. If you still don't have a Rav-Kav - now is the time to get one!

Rav-Kav: 's travel card, both smart and convenient! Rav-Kav is a "smart card" which you may load with a travel fare contract*. The smart chip in the card will adjust the price of fares to the personal data and will provide you with the discounts you are entitled to. Free transfer between most modes of transportation in the Jerusalem area will be possible only through the Rav-Kav, and is valid for 90 minutes from the time of initial validation. Please note! The Rav-Kav is a personal card and is not transferable. The Rav-Kav may be reloaded; it does not have to be replaced. Loaded appropriately, you may use it for all modes of public transportation in Israel.

Anonymous Rav-Kav - without identifiable information • An anonymous smart card issued for a one-time payment of 5.00 NIS. • Loading options: A multiple-entry ticket granting a 20% discount, or a one- time fare. • A Chofshi-Chodshi contract may not be loaded. • Unlimited reloading. • Since identifiable information is not included, there is no eligibility for discounts. • In case of loss, unused fares cannot be refunded. An anonymous Rav-Kav may be purchased in buses and at the Egged public ticketing offices in the Jerusalem Central Bus Station or through information representatives operating throughout Jerusalem A paper ticket - for a one-time ride • A paper ticket allows you a one-time ride only. • From Friday, March 7 2014 (5 Adar II), the ticket will be valid for only a single ride, without the possibility of transferring (within 90 minutes) between the different modes of transportation.
