JEFFERSON PARISH COUNCIL MEETING Wednesday, September 15, 2021 1221 ELMWOOD PARK BOULEVARD JEFFERSON, LOUISIANA MEETING CALLED TO ORDER INVOCATION AND/OR PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE BOARD OF REVIEW Resolution #0 - (DEFERRED to 10/06/2021) That in accordance with advertisements in the local newspapers and the Louisiana Statutes pertaining thereto, the Jefferson Parish Council does this day now sit as a Board of Review of the assessment valuations of property in the Parish of Jefferson for the year 2020 and shall conduct a public hearing to hear from those taxpayers desiring to protest their assessment, which taxpayers shall have timely filed the reports as required by Acts 702 and 705 of 1976 is hereby deferred until October 6, 2021. (Parishwide) (Placed on the agenda by Mr. Walker) PUBLIC HEARINGS Resolution #0 - (DEFERRED to 10/06/2021) The Chairman of the Jefferson Parish Council stated that the Assessor advertised in the local newspapers as required by law, that the Jefferson Parish Council would meet on this 15th day of September, 2021 to sit as a Board of Review to hear from those taxpayers desiring to protest the value of property fixed for assessment purposes by the Assessor for inclusion on the 2021 Jefferson Parish assessment rolls, which taxpayers shall have timely filed the reports as required by Acts 702 and 705 of 1976 herby deferred until October 6. 2021.
